I was at work at a small oil field parts supply company. We didn't have a television, but we had a radio. The bosses wife called and told us what was going on. We switched to the news talk station and couldn't believe our ears. I was stunned and because I couldn't see what was going on was in a bit of disbelief.

I went home for lunch that day and saw it all on the television. I was just shocked and numb.

Congrats Kim ... isn't it grand when these vapeversaries come around.

Yes it is, gives me the perfect excuse to mod shop. :D I've had my eye on this little beauty since it came out and when GB had a flash sale on it I pulled the trigger, with any luck she'll be stateside by the end of the month.

Hypno called us old farts (even though he included himself). Don't prove it by forgetting that he's been here before! He shows up for one or two posts once or twice a year. [emoji38]
So he's doing his bi-annual Old Fart Porch Tour?

As long as there is absolutely no mention of his business or anything he sells he can participate in the Forum as a regular member...this applies to any Supplier.
Well he includes a link to his business with every single post. That's not mentioning it?

Yes, I heard you the first time you said it, but I obviously disagree with your interpretation of the rule. No biggie, I don't care personally that he's allowed to provide both a link to his business and a description of what the business sells in every post, which is what he does.

@2legsshrt, I didn't download the most recent August 2016 Escribe software to my DNA200 because it's still listed as being in the "early" stage rather than the "recommended" stage. I like to leave the experimenting and troubleshooting to others.

I did, though, install the latest recommended version, which was from earlier this year. It had been a long time since I'd connected to my Escribe software. Thanks for the reminder! I had thought that my DNA200 was on the arm of my couch, but it was sitting in a tray of vape gear without batteries in it. The 3 Reuleaux mods that I had "in circulation" were all RX200 versions.

On Sept 11 2001 I was at work, casing the mail for my route, when another carrier who was listening to a radio told us about the reports coming in. The prohibition against non-earphone radios was lifted, and somebody turned on a boom box. We cased our mail in stunned disbelief. I worried about my little brother, who worked in downtown Manhattan, and my Dad, whose company often did jobs in NYC. Flight 93 went down not far from where my sister lives in PA. Of course it was impossible to get through to anybody for a while, due to cell phone overload with calls to the NYC area.

I carried my route in a daze, picking up tidbits of info from customers along the way. Postal vehicles do not have radios (or air conditioning), for those who may not know.
That early software works perfectly and it has a firmware upgrade for the 200 which I've heard from others using it does a lot for the use of SS. I don't know the difference because it is the only version of Escribe I am using on my DNA75 and 200 and I put my 200 on it right after I got it and did the upgrade. Most of the guys I have talked to are using it. The nice part of it is it has a different section for every DNA made that uses escribe even some that are not out yet to my knowledge the 250 and the 60 and 60 small screen. Once you get it to it it has modes for the settings all the way up to the manufacturers settings. I am using the advanced mode but am going to go into the manufacturers and make sure my mods are set to 25% diff before it asks if its a new or same coil.

The newest version of the firmware for the DNA200 turns it into a DNA250. That version doesn't yet automatically load into Escribe, but it can be accessed through the Escribe forum. Since I have no use for anything close to even 200 watts, I've got no reason to enable 250 watts. I rarely use even 20 watts.

But, I don't puff any toodles and never will!
