Not my problem, mon...
Maybe you could remember that before getting on your high horse again.

I'm pretty sure it didn't occur to you that the person in question is selling his own product via his posts. Indications from your posts are that you think he's simply giving links to one of his favorite vendors.

Yes, I cannot prove that, and yes, I could be wrong, but I know how to admit when I'm wrong. You, no experience whatsoever with that.

I imagine that someone will check into into whether vapelogic, manufacturer of storage boxes and caddies for vape supplies, is the poster's own company. It seems to me that it probably is.

I do think that if one vendor is permitted to post in all forums about the vendor's own products, then there should not be a rule prohibiting others from doing the same.

Not a matter of HA's at this point, it is a matter of the right kind of phone equipment, and probably getting medical help in slowing the loss.

I talked with him today, and he is doing great much better than ever. They are headed in the right direction with him.
That is fantastic! I know that's a relief for you!

On another note.....

Today at the dog show started beautifully. After sweltering for the last 2 days (outdoor show), a cold front came through and the weather was beautiful. Today was this club's 100th show, and 9/11. Opened with the Boy Scouts presenting arms. One of them played taps. Then a girl with a beautiful voice sang the National Anthem. No embellishments, no singing contest warbles and high notes, just a beautiful song. I had tears in my eyes.

The club offered many perks today, indluding free Canine Good Citizen tests. This is a simple test - walk on a loose lead. Let a stranger brush, examine ears and paws. Sit for petting. Sit, doown, come when called. Remain calm during a distraction (the tester walked around us pulling a crate on a dolly). Walk through a crowd, greet another person with a dog. Finally, dog is held by a stranger (on lead, not literally held) while the handler goes out of site for 3 minutes. Geordi passed with flying colors, so he is now Bijou Luisant Kontinuing Mission CGC. I will send the AKC their $20 for the official certificate. Usually clubs charge $10-$15 for the test alone, then you still have to pay the AKC for the certificate and formal title. So it was a nice opportunity.

Then! They gave free ice cream!

Business sucked, bu it was a good day anyway.

Off to Cape Cod tomorrow. I have Geordi entered Friday and Saturday. Not many other Tervs (1 other boy Friday, 2 Saturday, 1 girl both days, no "Specials" (already Champions). We are going for fun in the ring, not concerned about points. Would be nice, but we have to concentrate on fun first. Points will come. Besides, if I think about points I will get nervous and mess him up. I even bought 2 new toys for the ring :D.

Oh, and lobster! :toast:

Way to go Geordi and handler!

In other less interesting news:
I decided to sink some money into my existing vehicle rather than look for a new one. It's always a gamble to do that, but buying new is a gamble too. My nearly 14-yr old Forester has some issues but it hasn't let me down yet, so I'm putting a new set of Michelins on it tomorrow, having it aligned, and getting an oil change. I'll investigate whether the electrical problems (sometimes the driver's window won't operate without fiddling with it, and the windshield washer pump doesn't work), are worth fixing.

My free day of NFL Sunday ticket basically went to waste. The two games I wanted to see were both on the networks instead of on Sunday ticket.

Great men's tennis final at the US Open. $3.5 million for winner Stan Wawrinka.... nice work if you can get it!

Well Bells, my new vehicle is 11 years old and my oldest is about the same as yours at 15 years old. I sink money into them depending upon what is starting to break. Tires and oil changes don't count and wiper motors aren't that big of a deal, but when you start getting into real electrical problems or internal engine problems then it might be time to start shopping...

Yeah, I have experience dealing with all those things and am aware of the possible complications. If it's just a washer motor (or better yet, a fuse), that would be great. The vehicle runs great, but I haven't had anybody go over it with a fine toothed comb... almost afraid to, lol.

Jup. Hated to get rid of my pickup. Ran great. Until the check engine lite came on. Half dozen trips to the parts changer and $1600 later... time to give up. So since they were practically giving away caravans... that's my latest ride.
$10.5k off. 0 down. 0 interest. 0 payments for 90 daze. Never wuz a dodge fan but US dollars... like 15k new.

- windshield washer pump doesn't work fuse, pump or wand switch; first two easy fixes... wand switch, not $o much

I have an early '99 Tahoe wid 163K. LUV it! Will spend whatever it take$ to keep her runnin' and in good shape. Don't even want to deal wid all da new fangled 'tronics of today dat may break t'morrow...

Thatz wut I thot about mine. Until the garage had it more than me. And that was a lot of the problem. 03 GMC fully loaded means... a lot of digital carp to go wrong. And no one to figger it out.
At least the new van got a 100k warranty. And it actually will haul more than the pick em up. Including full sheets of plywood. Of course, problem gettin a load o' top soil. ;)

Even the wand switch would be a relative pleasure compared to having to track down a short somewhere. And, even though it's running great, it's got 186K miles on it, and seriously, there are not many Subaru engines of that era that have lasted that long. And it doesn't even burn oil the way that older Subaru engines are famous for doing. *

*I once had a '79 Olds Cutlass that burned no oil. In fact, it GAINED oil. Oh-oh! It was gaining the additional "oil" from the radiator.

That Oldsmobile wouldn't pass the NJ emissions test, so after it failed, I went home and got my distributor adjustment wrench. I stopped down the street from the inspection station and ......ed the ignition timing by about 15 degrees. The car would hardly run, but it did pass the emissions test. As soon as I was out of sight of the inspection station, I advanced the timing back where it needed to be for the car to run.

With a fresh new inspection sticker inside the windshield, I went the next day to a used car dealer and sold the car.
