My neighbor works for Kroger and she knows when they are giving double, triple, and even quad points for gift cards and such. Her husband buys gift cards for Lowe's and other places that they shop regularly and they almost always get gas for $1 off...

I no longer have a vehicle, but when the points from my super market get up to $.40 a gallon off, I give them to the person who takes me to do my shopping...;)
I thought it was you, or maybe Kay, who rents a car once a month to go shopping. I am carrying minimal insurance, and have reserved a rental car to go to a family wedding next month. Just called my insurance company, and full insurance for special occasions is only $2.50 a day.

He is really trying hard to make me a regular customer.

Yup. That's why I usually do the "@" thing when I want to answer several folks. It's a PITA to select and delete on my iPad. Often I find I've deleted just the parts I need! OTH, given I'm generally not on the BP, I wonder if folks will have forgotten what they said that prompted my reply! [emoji38]
I'm talking about replying to some someone said in a multiquote. Rather than quote their entire list of replies just to continue a conversation about one of the topics quoted, I've been deleting all but the 1 or 2 that I want to talk about. Hard to do on a phone or tablet, some I just read them & move on without trying to converse with the poster. Results in less interaction. 1 or 2 quotes in a post makes for more actual conversation. I'm at a point where I don't want to bother with all the scrolling, inserting, editing involved. If I quote the whole thing & just reply at the bottom, can anyone figure out which, out of the entire multiquote I'm replying too without reteading to whole thing? I may just start skipping them.

You can highlight and quote - It took a little practice, but I can do it on my phone.

Well back from the VA with a new $14000 worth of pills. My HGB was up again from 10.5 to 11.5. My weight which had gone from 139 to 142 was down to 138. One puzzling thing was my glucose which is always around 120-130 was down to 57. He was asking me if I felt dizzy yesterday and I didn't, least not any more then usual Right Gary. Don't understand it because I had had my protein shake and a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch with sugar on top before I went. Oh well at least the HGB is getting there. He said that the Viral Load won't be back for 7-10 days and a lot of people are non detectable at 4 weeks so we'll see.

I could name off a string of Immediate Gas Price Increases such as Katrina, 9/11, etc .. I'm talking gas that was still in the station tank, not new gas .. I did not realize that was illegal, although I think it should be .. or did I read your post wrong .. ??
Nope, it's price gouging & is illegal. Jacking up prices to take advantage of emergencies or low supplies of what people need in a normal day. Katrrina & 9/11 are why the law exists. Prices are supposed to remain what they would be normally.

@Kenna all you have to do is to highlight the part you want to quote as long as it's part of the multiquote and not part of the quoted material and when you do the Reply will come up and you can just reply to that part.

If you are on your computer go to the part of the multiquote that whoever answered. Right click and hold it while sliding over the part you want to answer. When it's all highlighted in blue let off the right button and a bubble comes up that says Reply and you will just reply to that part. I'm not good at explaining things maybe someone can do it better.

You have to hold your pen on at least one of the words in the part you want to quote - little arrows will come up with it highlighted - then use the arrows to highlight everything you want to quote - then press quote...

We are overnight in Savanah GA. Only had 1 gas station in SC rationing gas ($30 limit) but no problem in GA. Doesn't seem to be jacked up prices either.

That's good. Dave posted a little while back that the gas is flowing again...

Damn I meant left button. Will have to walk around all day with a bucket of sand in my left hand so I remember my left from my right.
Hold your hands up, palm out. Make an L with your thumb and index fingers. The side that makes an actual L is your left hand :D

If you can remember to do that - you can remember which is your left hand without doing that...
