What's actually more entertaining is a motion sensing impulse sprinkler. We used to have one to keep the chickens out of gardens, but when the cats accidentally tripped it they left the area in a hurry.

Episode 3 of Designated Survivor made me a little less high on the show, because there was political wrangling that seemed too much like the real Washington DC. But, several new lines of intrigue opened up, so I'm hoping it's just a temporary cooling of my enthusiasm. I do have a little bit of trouble that the FBI second in command seems impossibly young for the job, but I can get over that.
I see that a movie is coming out for a book I read recently: Jack Reacher; Never Go Back. I liked the book, so probably won't like the movie because it will clash with the imagery I already created in my mind from reading the book.

I like Reacher too, but the last one out seemed to do a lot of grabbing and reaching in the last chapter to make everything work out.

glad you found a way that works, ya basically made chili flakes. But no need to do the membrane, and removing seeds only means snipping off the end with scissors and dumpin out the seeds just in case you get dried ones that would be too hot to just grind it all up together.

yw JUP I know whatchya mean. I almost had it, but had it just slightly off.
I confused myself and thought the dad was someone else, but I knew we were talkin bout different eras and that the 3 adults, were the 3 kids that the one couple had/adopted. It's interesting how things are revealed as we get into it.

No, it's a home built cover for the top of my well. A neighbor from the house with the horses helped me build it 23 years ago.that was a pretty grand outhouse in the first few frames

Thank you everyone for the Happy Birthday wishes. It was a very nice birthday, especially since I got to spend it with my sister who I haven't seen in 3 years. Tomorrow we're flying out to see Hux!! He looks SO different in the pictures we've been getting. They change so fast. Yesterday we watched Miles for the day and had a great time. He was doing is favorite thing yesterday - riding on the tractor with his Pop Pop. As they came up to a section of weeds 2 fawns stood up and Miles just smiled and waved and said "Hi"!! So cute. Well, we thought it was cute, the fawns, not so much.
Right now we're headed out to a viewing and then we'll be packing to leave tomorrow. Everybody take care while we're gone, especially those in the path of Matthew!! Get out if you can and stay safe! We'll be thinking of you all.

I missed my own birthday, lol. I've had my Mom in ICU since Sunday, finally was able to bring her home yesterday. You know how you get so concentrated on one thing that not much else gets your attention? Hubby & daughter had cards and gifts ready, what sweeties.
