Far as I can tell, this one will just transform. the sign in will be way at the top right corner. and be sure to check "keep me logged in" so it don't spit ya off if you're idle for a bit.

kewl. Yeah I don't know what all it does either.......just got one not long ago cuz folks from the Reo lounge were doing some vid chats which was pretty kewl. So that's all I've ever done with it. I'll go see if I can figure out how to set up a vid chat thing and will come back and put the link in here for it. that way those who want to can bookmark it.

lol no ya don't have to..........but you can use it if you want, or anyone can. While ECF is down, or anytime someone wants to do it. Like I said, I don't do video, but folks can hear me, and I can see them if they have a video camera. It's usually built in if you use a laptop. But if you don't you need a camera and microphone, or at least a mic. But I just put that there in case anyone wants to use it. Some of us in the Reo lounge did a few times and it was really neat to be able to see people and talk to em.

lol well that's sweet, but I aint young, only at heart! I sleep enough hours, just don't sleep well. Then sometimes have issues with not sleeping, but not most of the time. I'm just a night person. always have been

It's funny how normal RL activities change how I've felt about doing them. When my kids were little grocery shopping was an outing I looked forward to each week. Then for a long time it was a hassle to be gotten over with as quickly as possible. Now that I've retired and have gotten into interesting cooking I'd love to live over our big Wegman's store. Seems I'm always missing some odd ingredient and it would be wonderful to run downstairs and pick up. Of course I've never gotten over the fact that food shopping is actually 2 activities. First there's the shopping (preferably when the store is not crowded) and then if I could only figure out how to enjoy putting it away...

Yep, they make one with no freezer. I have a friend that somehow get a hold of one of the glass door Coke boxes and uses that as a fridge. He replaced by the plastic coke sign at the top with a piece of granite looking formica that matches his kitchen counters. You know the ones with the wire shelves.

As far as shopping goes, Doree shops and I put everything away except the frozen food. She has some kind of system for that. Works pretty well and goes quick.

OK! It's hot outside, humid too... Maybe I can wait for summertime!

Teamwork makes all the difference. Being raised as one of five children then being married, I didn't know it was even possible to fold sheets without a second person! It's really quite simple. But, somehow I was very confused at first. Thirty years old and divorced and discovering just how things are done with only one person all alone!

well yeah I'm sure that can happen, but so far the few things I've bought have been good. Sorry ya had that happen. But yeah googling reviews is a good thing too. And I did hear sometime not long ago, that CR wasn't as good as they had been in years past. But I dunno.



Do you have a google + account? I'm brand new to using it, but you can do video chats with up to 9 people I think for free. We've done a few in the Reo lounge. what other older folks threads do you hang out in? Cuz we don't get to see much of ya.

I've mentioned before that I think it would be fun to do a Google hangout with some of the folks here. Maybe we should set one up. You can use just about anything that has decent computing power. PC, Mac, laptop with Web cam, cell phone, or tablet. Gotta have a webcam though and no worrying about how you look!

lol dancin......yeah when I was first divorced, I didn't have that issue since I was an only child, but I remember being out of cigs late at night, and couldn't run down to the store to get some cuz my son was asleep. Also taking out the trash, his dad usually did that. Was a bit of an adjustment. Not too bad though.
