Diverticulosis. No biggie, runs in the family.

Please!!! don't shrug that off as nothing......can easily become diverticulitus !! I've a close friend who's been hospitalized twice in the past 3-4 years for that....once on IV for 3 weeks!

I have to work to keep things moving. Which I hadn't been doing lately.
Don't ask

Can I go back in time to Wednesday night and start over again?? First it was the speeding ticket. Then it was Animal Control. Now, I just got word my 85 year old father is in the emergency room. His blood pressure drops every time he stands up. And I've been up for 19 hours straight.

Dang, Roto, there are times when it just doesn't seem to let up!

Hope all turns out ok for you and hour Dad. Maybe just electrolytes imbalance. (Yeah, of COURSE I'm grabbing straws here... but a couple years back, my Dad - 93 now - had similar drops of BP. Seems that after many years of low sodium his potassium levels were too low... Hopefully something as simple and easy to "fix"!)

Wow Roto...your cup is not just full , it's brimming over big time:(

Please, try not to worry too much, if that's even possible, about your Dad...at least he's where he can be taken care of in any situation that comes up.

I could toss in that old cliche...tho I'll boggle it up..".it's darkest just before the sun shines."..or something along those lines....

but I do so hate cliches....

lemme just say that it WILL get better...

I want one so bad. I can't do most of my old hobbies any more, but I still have good control on my trackball. I've done moderately complex CAD work before and I've never met a software that I couldn't learn. I know what I'm saving up for next. :D
Blender, Cura and Slic3r are all free.
you can pre-order a TICO 3D printer for $179. not much saving up needed.

sorry - time travel is still not working, but the good news is that these things usually come in 3s...
Just wish it wasn't that particular 3.
praying for you and your dad!!

now...
I started working on a mashup of an ipad sound deflector and a clam shell at about 1am... bedtime is 2am...
I reached ovver for a sip of water, and pains shot up my legs like someone had stuck long needles in them from the knee joints up and down the legs...
it was 6:45 and I had not moved my legs at all since 1.
my mashup still was not right, but I closed everything down and went to bed at 7am got up at noon, and tackled the issue again... 2 hours later all done!
This is what happens when you go to long without sleep. simple solutions become complicated and don't work.
I started it printing, and it was a 7.5 hour print... 3 hours in, I realized that it was printing too long, and would block my "home" button on the ipad because I forgot to make it shorter and not so long....
fixed that, and it's printing now... print time is now 2 hours 35 min... big difference in time when you get the dimentions right. :)
the original sound deflector was for an ipad without a case, and I have a case, so it had to be upscaled about 32%... I had just upscaled in all directions instead of just making it 33% wider. :)

now it's raining fit to make my back fence disappear from view, and it's only about 50' from the window... gonna shut down now and go take a nap.

Diverticulosis.

One of my daughter's F-I-L has went through so many surgeries that if he effs up again, they won't be able to help him (too much scar tissue)! Granted, he isn't one to follow docs' orders. But since his last 'visit' he's been a good 73 year old... so far...

Would someone please come over and pack our motorhome for us.

If I was just 'round da corner, ya batcha! But since we're pretty much as far apart geographically as two can be in da USA , I'll just have to root fer ya!

Likely. The mouse got you to feed it :)

Pfttt, I fell fer dat with my bride and three daughters. At least they could cook!

Debra, my gal, hope he's close 'nuff for you to visit!

Kinda ironic, he stands and BP drops, you stay up and BP rises. Don't forget to take care of yourself... SERIOUSLY!!!

Roto, You have been and will continue to be in my prayers. I am adding your father to my list too. I hope everything is going to be ok. Things seem to have worked themselves out in the dog department, let's pray they do in the dad department too.

You are one strong woman, but I know your at your wits end right now, so I'm sending you some good strong vibes and have already stormed Heaven with a plea that your dad just needs his potassium levels adjusted.

That's a little to desensitized! I won't ride around the block to get another look but, damn if I'm not going to look the first time.
I'll never be too old to appreciate a fine lady. My wife enjoyed her "eye candy", too.
