Well, I'm not going home tonight after all. I was all dressed and ready to walk out the door.

Then, they couldn't find a way to send me home with oxygen since I don't have insurance. Hopefully, tomorrow.
Hard to like this one. I'm praying for you, hopefully something will work out and you can get home. Recovery is always quicker at home than in the hospital.

My thoughts on gun control laws. Due to the recent acts by stupid crazies more people have been killed. The laws in place did not stop this, so, If everyone was required to own , know how to use, and carry a gun. It would be like mandatory Obama care health insurance. If after the 1st shot 43 people stood up and put 43 bullets into the sicko, we rid ourselves of a sick sh.., and discourage copycats. If the News services were smacked down for glorifying and sensationalizing these events, I'm sure that the sickies would not seek attention with a gun. Instead of over dramatize trials , just gut shoot the scum and have done with, Tried by 12...gauge. No one fears the death penalty because it's rarely carried out, conviction leads to prison and 20 years of appeals and protests . and right to lifers who haven't any personal loss to temper their thinking. Spare the rod..., eye for an eye..., If an animal has rabies, we put it down , If a rabid animal has a gun, shouldn't we also put it down? Hugs and talk will not cure, should we just release Charles Manson and say "He's all better now? " His prolonged life has just inspired deranged people to want to be like him and have his children. a sure sign of a sick society is we will not kill a rabid animal!
Here, Here !! It's the nuts that kill not the gun they use otherwise guns would be running around killing folks all by themselves. Maybe it's time for a real "Armed Militia".

It seems to. I don't normally get too far from the charger anyway. I have one upstairs next to the bed so I can charge it on the nightstand and I have another downstairs that I use to keep it charged while watching TV. The Note 4 has that new charging chip from Qualcomm that allows the phone to charge up to 75% in about 30 minutes. I put it on charge at 20% the other day and it was 100% in about 45 minutes, really cool. The camera is the first with optical stabilization and that makes it much easier to take nice, sharp photos. It's a 12mp camera with a much better image sensor. Performs better in low light as well. The display is amazing, absolutely beautiful. Very bright and sharp with outstanding color. So ends my review of the Galaxy Note 4. You can tell I like it because I could go on and on about it.
So it beats this:

That's his "Imma want in yo lap" act

Yet another reason that a planned get-together with Porchers holds no compelling attraction to me: prevalent ideas in which I find no logic, and with which I have absolutely zero want or desire to voluntarily associate myself in person. I'm more than happy to deal with such lunacy at a distance, and it's much more fun (as well as less stress) for me to spend physical time with those who come closer to sharing my personal beliefs.

That's just the way it is. I realize that in this small group my general feelings happen to be minority opinions. Yet, I still enjoy being here "at safe Internet distance" because of our common interests, the primary of which is vaping. But: a glutton for punishment I am not, and I feel no urge to reduce the physical distance between us for any significant period of time.

Quick fly-by to say 'hi'. Weather here in Philly is awesome; cool w/low humidity. Trip took 17 hours driving straight thru with some stops, of course!
Don't have time to read back now, but hope to catch up later!

Miss the H/O. That is addictive, I tell ya!

Catch y'all later.
Hehehehe - 80 in Philly... you can tell who's from my neck of the woods!

Watermelon anyone. Go it at COSTCO yesterday. Pretty good. I like one ice cold. Just doesn't taste right to me when it's warm.
city boy.
we used to go across the road, pick a watermellon from the field, cut it up and eat it.
Nothing better!

We are all entitled to our opinions!
Personally, I'm not at the militia level, but I do agree that people should be able to carry guns in America.
not nut jobs like that, but a quick bullet to the head usually discourages copycats.
Other than that, I'm a pretty nice guy. :D

My excuse is no money. However, we are a diverse group, and subgroups will emerge. Not as blunt about it as bells, but the planned meet-up probably will not be congruent with my current life-style. And I do not plan to change that.

You know, it just so happens that the guy who did the shooting in Lafayette was mentally ill. At least, that is what the news is reporting. What really ticks me off about the whole thing is that when his coward behind saw law enforcement, he went back in the theater and shot himself. Killing yourself is one thing, but taking others out before you go is the most selfish thing ever!!

Lots of vigils going on here today. This was just too close to home for my comfort.....not that I'd wish this on anybody else!!

LOL...Does it show that I'm not native to PA ? Now if it were Montana, Washington, Oregon, California.....I wouldn't be at such a loss...

You know, bells, I understand where you're coming from, and I respect it. I really do. At the same time, I'll be damned if I'm going let a bunch of crazies ruin anything for me. The minute we stop doing things that we enjoy because of what "might" happen, then the crazies win. Me, I'm not going down without a fight. :D

Family used to gang up on our Grandparents in West Texas in the summer. 13 grand kids of every imaginable age hiding behind the rows of beans in Pa's garden. Each with our own watermelon & feeding it to the little ones. Older boys all had their own knives & provided slicing services. Like no one knew something was up when 13 kids all disappeared at one time.
