He did? See how hompophobic I am? The character or the actor? Just curious as to the shows direction. Although I have not watched it in maybe 6-8 months. Do not watch much TV at all.
Nope. The actor. As far as the show... it ain't bin on for 6-8 months! :D

Battery powered tools are only good where they are handy. Like a drill or screwdriver. I can't imagine a battery powered drill press or table saw or lathe, etc.
They need to come out with a mod that will snap onto a drill battery pack.
I agree. I have a boatload of 18volt tools and there are some I won't even think about running on batteries.

I am partial to the Ryobi One + series of tools. They work really well, seem to last and are very reasonably priced. I am not a professional so I don't use em everyday or enough to really wear them out. I have an impact driver that I use all the time and it has stood up well. The NiCad batteries were heavy and didn't last all that long but, since the came out with the lithium ion batteries I have had no complaints at all.

I just got a 2000 watt inverter and mounted in under the hood in my truck with a starter solenoid type of power connection for it. Run my tools wherever I can get my truck. Otherwise in my workshop.

I took as fun and I will not censor myself too terribly bad here. I'm home and I act like it. I try not to insult anybody but I also am not nor will I ever be politically correct.
I can't even say a guy in a picture looks "G" without ticking someone off. Sheesh. Did not really consider that an insult anyway. If someone is "G" is that an insult?
I am old is that an insult to say I look old?

Now fat and women I will NOT touch at all :D

I already have everything cept the table saw. I don't think a battery powered table saw would hold a candle to kine and the work I do with. 1 cut in 3/4" oak would probably kill it. I build furniture.

I do a little bit of small stuff from reclaimed wood...

My only battery tool is a 18v lithium Rigid drill/driver. Much better than 2 previous worn out Dewalts. And the batts charge bac up in about 1/2 hour.

Also had Dewalt 18V saws-all. Was only useful when you didn't have power available. Batts only lasted a few cuts. Then when the NiCad batts wore out, replacement batts cost more then the original package,

 I see Mike sitting down at the bottom of the thread....I'll bet he has his finger poised over the "close thread" and the new one just waiting to be posted......:D

I'm prepping to skip on over to the new back porch this weekend. Although I've asked Classy if they've given up on the 15k limit yet. I've read about other forums using the same 'engine' ECF does now and they have no issues w/ huge theads, hence no limits. We'll see.
