Keep up the PMA (Positive Mental Attitude) Mike, you will feel better faster. And I think giving Ken's juice idea is a good one. Cranberry is good for flushing the system. Other fruits will add to the benefits.

Just a note to let everyone know.......Rolygate said we'd most likely be moving to the new ECF software late this week, most likely on or before Saturday the 18th. Retired1 I think it was said that they're saying ECF will be shut down for 24 hours, but that it shouldn't take that long........... so just wanted everyone to be ready in case ya gotta talk to someone on here, then, make other arrangements now lol
jeez, how am I suppose to occupy my time during this change over?
Janet, it seems like Bells has a subscription to consumer reports........he might be willing to check into fridge's. I would never buy big stuff without seeing what they have to say about it. I've bought several things based on their recommendations and been very pleased in the past.
dunno Gordon.........the other day I said I might have to actually get a life. lol But that aint gonna happen. that's gonna be a long day!!
well yeah I'm sure that can happen, but so far the few things I've bought have been good. Sorry ya had that happen. But yeah googling reviews is a good thing too. And I did hear sometime not long ago, that CR wasn't as good as they had been in years past. But I dunno.I bought a new toaster oven today - so much less stressful.
When it comes to Consumer Reports and effigieators... sigh - it will only take you so far. The last 'fridge - before the new one - we bought based on brand reliability reports in Consumer reports. And it turned out to be a dog anyway. The repair dude came out and said that, basically, everything in the damned thing except the box needed to be replaced - and it couldn't be done if you wanted to because of how it was assembled. Yer kidding? No - he wasn't. Googled the Amana model number and the interwebs was rife with complaints about this model. The condenser coils would corrode internally and as soon as enough of them were closed off then the compressor would overheat and fry. That model was only lasting 5 to 7 years and it was done. Amana's response to consumer complaints about it was "Out of warranty. Don't care."
But Consumer Reports said brand reliability for Amana was better than average so...![]()
tell me about...the old people threads occupy most of my time...when they get slow it makes my mind wonder in all directions..and sometimetimes I just get lost...

Do you have a google + account? I'm brand new to using it, but you can do video chats with up to 9 people I think for free. We've done a few in the Reo lounge. what other older folks threads do you hang out in? Cuz we don't get to see much of ya.
know your area well, woeked that whole area twice during up grades on the cable system in temple, belton, killeen, the whole area down there..
Yeah, Rick. Consumer reports hasn't had a very good reputation in at least the last dozen years or so.
it was before that, hell, the first time was in the 90's the second time early 2000's..had to give it up 4 1/2 years ago..been all over the country, in places most people never heard of..Tex and and I talked and found out out we worked on some of the same jobs...just never when you'll run into people and don't think about it...heel, when I was Japan, long time ago, was walking down the street and looked across and saw a guy I grew up with from back in Maryland...
