OK, if we're gonna do a mass porch Google gathering, how 'bout on 5/5/15 'round post-supper time, say 'bout 7:55 - 10:55 EST. Gotta get our PST 'rockers' into dis.

TBH, I'm a total n00b wid da vid capability we have access to. But, I'll gladly remove my 'puter' camera 'mask' in order to repeat my first experience wid BB! Actually, it's a hoot.

Keep in mind, chances are dat dis is da closest we'll ever to be able to experience a 'face-to-face' gathering due to mileage! It's ever so easy to be entranced by porch words. But I've never been disappointed with da 'face-to-face' contacts! For some, hopefully many, just stop and think of receiving a 'like', porch PM or email dat draws ya closer to our 'family . Da rewards and appreciation is uncalculable. Dis would be a daring and rewarding next step fer da reluctant!

Please don't be concerned 'bout appearance! Our genre is quite knowledgeable of our age and yesteryears. But to 'share' is priceless!

Rick I quit using that banner because it wasn't changing. Right now I'm using the one available here on ECF but I don't really like it. It doesn't show dollars saved and I am literally up near 20 grand so I wanna brag about it.

Me too - 4 year anniversary in July. Will definitely be keeping an eye on it to see if/when/how often it updates now. I know there were a lot of complaints about the quit smoking banners going into stasis so links to banners in signatures are going to need some sort of cache override if they are ever gonna keep working. Keep ya posted.

what day in July? My bday is 14th. Retired1 says that they set the cache to update once a day now. So they should always be within 24 hrs of right

Doree pointed out that when I was video chatting with Deb, Ken and Bells is seemed a little stilted and didn't flow quite the same as it did daily online. I'm going to try to do better this next time to remember that these are the same people that I talk to everyday and share my soul with so I can loosen up a little. What I didn't tell was that her sitting right next to me kind of constrained me a little. Don't know why but it did. This time I'll be on the Mac in the other room. I will see everyone then. Really am stoked at the idea of a mass get together. Thanks Iffy for finally helping set a date for the party!

I think the most I've had in one chat at one time was about 4-5. So this should be interesting. Even with just two, it's easy to talk over one another, both starting at the same time. Then everyone is quiet so they don't do it again lol
