Well I missed the big chat party, but I did yack with Deb for awhile before the big kick off. Then ate a big dinner got sleepy and fell victim, to the sleepies. The gravitational pull of a pillow rivals that of a black hole. Hey it's not like I'll never get to hang with everyone sooner or later. I've also pretty much given up on adding a provari banner too my sig. everything I've tried has failed. Such is life in the non-tecky world. I even had a hard time posting pic's of paintball stuff I'm trying to get rid of. And I used to do that as easy as breathing. Go figure? I'm almost on the verge of archiving all that I have left and waiting a few years and having an antique sale.

It was a very long time ago, so I could be off on some years, I know pay early on in my working career was 2.10 First "real" job was working 12 hrs a day in a cornfield detassling corn, but don't remember what the pay was, not enough for what we did!! lol

Only if she was a waitress and tips weren't much! Even in early 80's I'd wait on a big family, who ran my legs off, left a huge mess, and be lucky if I got a dollar! and I was a good waitress. I still don't think that restaurants should rely on tips to pay folks' salary. Other businesses don't get away with that. A server in Tx, even now still only has a base pay of slightly over 2.00/hr that's horrible!! I think it's like 2.13 but not certain.

I just discovered that the "10 chars" requirement is no more. Woo hoo! And more "Woo Hoo": still in remission! Start up chemo again in 2 weeks. I'm so grateful. Wish I had Iffy's dancing Snoopy; he'd be scampering across the page right now!

Thanks for Snoopy! I love that beagle!!! Many, many more. This will go on for about 7 years, albeit with decreasing frequency, as long as I stay in remission. We're fighting a 50% recurrence rate. Fortunately, folks are storming the Heavens and all those residing therein on my behalf!

ooooooo I just learnt anudder sumpthin new!! yanno how if yur reading a long thread, and say you're in the middle of it. You can't click on the page you want (say pg 28), you click on pg 5 and it shows you some more page numbers, but takes a few clicks and page loads to get to page 28, well if you click on the arrow thing, it won't load pages, it'll scroll up or down some more, keep clicking, it shows more, so you can find the page you want quicker

I have my alerts, at least for now, set for e mail notifications to see how it will work......well, it doesn't, at least not immediately.
About an hour passes, then all of a sudden I get all these e mails for threads I've read already...
I'm sure these things will work out eventually, so I'm just biding my time!
I'm so excited! It looks like a 3 bedroom apartment will be coming available in 6 to 8 weeks. Lots of space. Downstairs. Washer/Dryer connections.
