Care to join me in a margarita??
food-girl-in-margarita-gif.456425

Sure, love a good margarita - have not had one in about 20 years though - I am a tea tottler now - maybe a nice glass of wine now and then, but that is about it.

Now when I go to the philippines I always have a few San Miguel beers for old time sakes...

I really don't drink much at all. I do have some tequila here, but the last time I had some, I fell and broke my......concentration!! (along with my toe I think) Wasn't drunk but tripped over a rake. Who leaves a rake in the living room?????

I don't watch dwts very often, but I do enjoy it when I do.

The only ones I know who do things like that have been drinking....
hehehe smarty pants........I wasn't the one who left it there!! My nephew went out, raked about 3 leaves, and left it for me to trip over. Last time I saw it again sitting out in the middle of a room, I moved it immediately.

He he!!!

Let me tell you a story. But first I have to ask a question. What are the maximum amount of days in any calendar month? Answer - 31. My story is based on this number.

In the orient, under their old fashioned ways (not as much now) they believe that a person should make their mark in life before they are out of calendar - before they are 31 years old they should know if their life will be successful or not.

Well it was probably about 1am on the night of my 30th birthday and this is what popped into my head. I was sipping on a fine Scotch (my fav back then) and I just could not get the thought out of my head. And I really can not explain why, but I downed the rest of my glass and walked out the door to go home - it was the last night of real drinking for me. Now I was not a drunk - I really only drank on Fri and Sat nights, but on that particular night - I changed my life.

Since that night - you could count the hard liquor drinks that I have had with your fingers (not counting thumbs). I still have an unfinished bottle of Scotch and another of Jack that I have saved since that day (remembrance). They have been tapped into on occasions since then, but not much - mostly when I have the right guest at the house and I will have an occasional beer and I do drink wine on a fairly regular basis (remember wine and popcorn - LOL).

I just knew I needed a change and I did it... Have I made mistakes on the new path - sure who hasn't, but I believe it is better than the other one would have been if I had stayed on it.

Sorry, if I got all serious... Another one I almost cancelled...

glad ya didn't cancel it.......that's kewl! Neat to know that is how they believed back in the day. I enjoy learning things about other cultures. I don't do wine much at all, but occasionally have some rum or tequila or a liqueur over ice. Now if I could afford drambuie, I'd probably be an alcoholic. lol Love that stuff!!! Wish they made that flavor in kool aid. I did find some drambuie e juice but it was horrible. Nice try, but they so missed the mark.
