Surprise, surprise, surprise...........my blood work numbers were all good. The doctor was happy about my numbers. My blood pressure was 100/60. The blood sugar is under control. Now, if I could just get my mind out of that dark hole it seems to have slipped into.

Yay! I wonder how much of that success is due to vaping? Maybe it helped? Couldn't hurt not to be massively bombarding your body with all that burned stuff. Getting good news like that has to help lift you up at least a little bit. I promise you there's a light at the end of that dark hole.

Great checkup Roto! I agree about the vitamin D.

I've been hearing recently that a large portion of our population is D deficient and that the minimums are probably too low. Makes sense that if you're not in the sun much you probably will be and as you age your body can't use or make a lot of the beneficial nutrients as you did when younger. My last check up (early Spring) showed I was way low too but I think if you get to spend regular time in the sun you don't need the supplements as much. Evidently magnesium is another one a lot of people need more of. But all these vitamins and minerals work in conjunction with each other and how do you know what's what for you? And the needs change with the seasons or cosmic shifts etc. I think we need one of those hand held medical things (forget what they're called) on Star Trek. Just wave it over you and know what you need at the moment. Hmmm, might be a project for the 3D printer???

Good Morning all! I see that all are well and accounted for. That's a good thing. I know I've been on the quiet side lately, but my Mama taught me if you have nothing nice to say then say nothing at all. My head has been in the dark side lately, so I've been quiet.

Kenna, I'm glad to see that you're doing better. You have been missed. Iffy, at least you can keep an eye on your new friend.

It has rained every stinking day that I've been off, so I feel like I'm living in the jungle. Yet again this morning, it was raining when I woke up. Unless my brother or my daughter feel beneficial when I go back to work, I'm going to have HELL when I get back with this yard.

Today I go in for yet another checkup with my doctor. I'm just NOT looking forward to it as I'm pretty sure my blood work will NOT show my sugar in the best of places OR my cholesterol. Yeah, I see some serious conversation with the doc this morning. (Heavy sigh) Of course, I have nobody but myself to blame for this predicament for not doing what I'm supposed to do.

At any rate, carry on, good people!!

Well you had a good check-up. Nice to hear that. Blame the mood on the rain and when the sun comes out you'll pop out of that dark spot too. Best wishes to ya.

Hey, Roto, those good numbers are great news! Yippee!

Now you can allocate some of that dark hole real estate to worry about your computer's fritziness that you were telling us about.
I know, huh! I only have one more day off to deal with this. It didn't act stupid today at all. Of course, I'm not letting that fool me.

Great news, Roto! Are you taking any vitamin D? Working nights has been a problem with my ex, my daughter, & now my grandson. And even me since I started vaping & am not sitting out on the porch geting lots of sunshine & vit D. Low D causes depression. My Dr had me raise both my calcium & D for the first time, ever at my ladt visit. If it'll stop raining I'll start sitting outside some again.

I do take Vitamin D. The problem is that when I come home, I sometimes forget to take my vitamins. I just have excess junk in my brain that I need to dump.

That reminded me-- I just moved my journal on the shelf up next to my meds.

I take vita D in fish oil during the winter. I'm wondering if that is part of the dynamic behind seasonal affective disorder.

Peach, did I miss something? You had surgery? Wow, sure hope you heal quickly! Sounds good that you were hungry.

Ok, gotta switch out some laundry and get the stuff from the old fridge transferred to the new one so we can move out the old one tomorrow.

It seems that the fish oil gives me migraines. Can't totally prove it because I wasn't keeping close track at the time, but it sure seems that's what was happening. It was supposed to be a good grade of it too.

Doesn't look like so much in that photo which is looking straight down, but it took up a LOT of space in the freezer. I was freezing smaller bottles of 60 mg and a friend got me some at 48 mg. Now I'd rather store it in the larger bottles at 100 mg. I'm making 250 ml at least at a time of our ADV these days so I'll be using up the lower nic bottles and have more room.

So if we use magnesium coils in our attys we would get more magnesium?

Still, the numbers are great! I'd bet dollars to doughnuts vaping is helping :)

Evening all, welcome to any new people and any returning who have been away. Been busy and just trying to keep up with the reading.

Celebrated our youngest granddaughter's 1st Birthday a few weeks early - since Mom is going back to work today. Fun day with all the kids and grandkids. Her brother was so sad - he waited 15 minutes for her to smash the cake - but all she did was eat the icing off the cake :) (Oh and the rest of us had our own cake)
