Not yet. We still won't have a sink until Tues when the counters are installed. When the cabinets were delivered they dropped the pantry and are sending us a new one, hopefully to be here by mid week. The bottom trim needs to be done, grout the tiles and the hardware put on the cabinets. Most of the cabinets have pull out shelves so I'm trying to figure out where to put things (what a happy problem to have!) I'm still learning how to cook with gas, but haven't done much cooking since it's hard to cook without a sink. We've been shopping for new lights but haven't found what we like yet, but there's no big hurry for them. As soon as the contractor is done we hope to post before and after pictures. It's truly amazing. :):thumb::hubba::thumbs::banana::rickroll:

Sounds like with the exception of the pantry, things are moving right along for you! Gas is great to cook with, you're gonna love it! Can't wait to see the results!

I don't know if these days I'm much welcome in the Hangout, my intuition keeps telling me I'm more of a wet blanket .. but I will say, at my age, I could give a crap what Google or the rest of them do ..

I may check in later and see what's up but it may have to be incognito ..
Well, you just need to double check what condition your condition is in, Mr Willie, 'cause I think your intuition is fractured. Of course you are welcome in the Hangout!

Well package #3 went through ISC in NY 3 days ago and I got Michael the director of Grebitex which is a company that owns several different ecig shops in Germany and surrounding areas to put the address on exactly like we write it here so I'm thinking since it is Registered mail it will go straight thru to Spokane but it takes a slow route like regular mail. #1 did that and they sent it back it was in Spokane on May 29th and someone there dropped the ball and sent it back to NJ

Is it time to go home yet??? Oh.......dayum........apparently not. It's just been fun and games out here this week so far. In an effort to balance out staff, we are losing one of our mechanics to another base next hitch. When you work with somebody for a while, and they're a great person, you get used to having them around. This is really going to suck.

Then we have a sweet parts project that is due at the end of August. All tools in the tool room have to be shadowed and inventoried. Well, that's not too bad. Most of that is already done, and I did an inventory when I first arrived here. We have to take pictures of every drawer along with an inventory of what is in that drawer. I already know who is going to be doing this as the sweet thing that works opposite of me won't lift a finger to help.

Tonight thus far has been hell night. One helicopter won't track and balance. Another one is down with a hub change, and they've been looking for stuff that I ordered months ago that never came in. My boss has been cussing the computer all night. I've been cussing people who are not authorized to be in my parts room and threatening to chop off hands. :danger:

Yes, I am dangerous right now.

Food was a big part for us ( brother and I)
Are you on a trip here now, or were these from the previous trip? I think I remember you said you were planning another trip, but thought it was later on. If you're here.......welcome!!! lol and tell us more about where you'll be. Or where you're planning to go when you do come.

I am going to check in with the hangout a little later....:lol::lol:
so sorry I missed Geordi's debut. I thought about making myself stay up since I went to bed fairly late anyhow, but just didn't manage it. Now wish I had since I'm going to have to get my schedule flipped back to days. Gonna go to my son's Monday night to watch the little one when he has surgery Tuesday and will probably be there most of the week.

So sorry you're having such a rough hitch this time. And definitely sorry you're losing a good worker. Too bad ya can't swap him out for the lazy buzzard that dont' do nuttin!

Willie.......I know you truly feel like that at times......but you gotta know that folks love you here! And if anyone don't, poop on em, the rest of us do!! lol I know you're goin through a rough time, but don't let them negative thoughts like that sit there and get in your head. Shoo em away sweetie pie!!

Many holidays are not happy times for some folks due to having lost family members either to death or disagreement, so I'm always leary of posting celebratory wishes. But... I never want to leave out those who do celebrate and find it a happy time either. For any for whom it may be a rough time, I pray that you'll find a way to have a wonderful, peaceful day, focusing on the good things in life rather than the bad. Do something to make it a great day! You deserve it!!
I am wishing all the Fathers out there the very best of days filled with love, fun and great times.

Happy Fathers Day to all you Daddy's here!! Hope you have a wonderful day, & get to spend it with loving families! My Dad passed away in 1990 at age 61. Much too young, & we sure weren't done with him yet. We always remember him today, along with all the previous Dad's that got us all here. And the current Dad's reap the benifits of all those happy memories & appreciation. Which reminds me, it's time our future family Dad's to get a move on & join the Daddy ranks!

Loved your post. Lost my dad 26 years ago when he was 73, way way too early. His bday was in Sept and he'd be 100 this Sept if he were still alive. I highlighted this part cuz my son is working on it. lol He's got a stepdaughter that he loves as if she were his, but they really hope they can have one together. He and my nephew are the last of that blood line also, and my nephew will likely never have kids, so it's up to my son to hopefully have a son. If not oh well, not meant to be. Good to see ya sweetie. I'm in the hangout if anyone wants to join in

For some reason I volunteered (or rather got drafted) to mod the Third Annual (well, if someone does not volunteer next year, it may not happen!) NETty Awards. Voting for the "best" Naturally Extracted Tobacco juice. Since I home extract a few faves now, and am really into other flavors, I don't really actively participate, but I like to read what people are vaping there. And I was active in the past.

WHY CAN'T PEOPLE PAY NICE!! Sorry to shout, but accusing someone of paying off the vote? Hey, if they want to shoot me some cash, I will gladly accept ;), but it will NOT affect the voting. Geesh!:facepalm:

Just WOW! I'd step away from the entire thing & make it clear why, & name names.
