My fellow Christian porcher, what I'm 'bout to say is da flip side o' da same 'coin'. So, I ever so hope you'll understand and accept...

I was Catholic by birth with a 2nd-9th grade parochial education and then 'Christian by choice' at a later stage in life. It was quite a sojourn until my eternal choice!

Regardless, we all should praise God's unconditional love and acceptance; and also appreciate His humor (think platypus)!

BTW, any chance ya can catch da Odyssey? I would be very pleasured to meet you in person!

imho there is nothing finer than a real Christian. The Current Pope for instance....

Around here (Broward County) if they think they could get away with it they would require a permit to fart. They just threw Uber and Lift outta the county and even the taxi commissioner's wife wanted them to stay. Wanna know what Florida is like, read anything by Dave Barry or Carl Hiassen. Barry is a columnists with the Miami Herald and Carl's books are all based in South Florida and both are funny as hell.

But, you don't have vehicle inspections or emissions inspections. Strange state, as are all the others.

KY does not have vehicle inspections or emission inspections. We do have a state income tax. Florida does not but they get your money in other ways. I have lived in several states and they will all get your money in various ways.

he, he ... 1st read some Dave Barry during Janet's 1st pregnency. The 'article' was titled something like "How to know your ready to be a parent". A couple things I still remember from it:

Are you ready to give up sleep for the next couple years?
Are you ready to give up your life for the next 20 years?

Made me laugh ... but how true it turned out.

Maybe that is my problem I have not sinned enough to repent?

In Temple Terrace FL you have to get a permit which was $35 15 years ago to change an $8 outside faucet on your home.

I would love to make the trip, however, as willing as my mind is, my body would not let me make it. I will be trying to join the Hangout again in the future. I am not offended by whatever religion another person wishes to practice, with one exception that I won't mention. My wife was a cradle Catholic and attended a Catholic school for the first 12 years of her education. Her two boys, my stepsons, are Full Gospel Pentecostals. It leads to some very interesting discussions in the house at times. We prayed for them and they pray for us. lol

I fully support everyone's right to worship as they see fit as long as it does not infringe on others worshiping or not as they see fit.

Where ya at down there? I used to live in a little subdivion called Northdale just north of Tampa and south of Land-0-Lakes, not far from the nudist colony...
