After not owning one for about 30 years, I got one about a month ago. I also got an attachable buggy for my 4 y/o g-daughter to ride in. My get up and go has been gone since I quit smoking. For now, it's seems to be back in a big way. Anyway, I've been riding with my youngest sons (13 and 14) and g-daughter, once a week for the last 3 weeks, and I can feel my abdominal muscle working again!

It's helping with my bendability and lower body strength. One of my sons went to stay with Grandpa for a week and when he came back, he asked if I'd lost weight.

Bicycling seems to be the all around best form of exercise and I can enjoy spending time with of kids at the same time. I don't miss out on any together time to go to the gym (like that would ever happen

).
