Hey, I've been thru there, on the way to/from FL... hottest place I ever visited, I'm pretty sure! ;)

Yep it's exactly like that, but I haven't found any flavors at the local shops that I really like, that aren't like $14 for a 15ml bottle... when I could get the same stuff online for a lot less.

That's why I like places that offer 5-10ml for a much lowr price, so I can find out if I really like something before I spend a lot on it -- but then you gotta deal with shipping... *sigh*

Someone really needs to get cracking on the teleportation technology... ;)

Andria

Dang AndriaD, you ever sleep? Just read the 6 pages from last night and your in them throughout!!!

I do the same as you about flavors. I'm not a DIYer yet so try flavors and find what I like. Currently trying flavores from Smoke Anywhere For Pennys from Charlotte, NC. 5 10ml bottles are $17.95 or you can get 5 20ml for $32.95. So far I am loving their Butter Rum and Caramel Macchioto(sp?) flavors. My wife found this place looking for Teaberry. She loves Teaberry!!! Need a pyrex tank for that one. I'm an idiot. I keep having to go back and edit my posts for spelling/grammar. Even when I proof read I miss something! Then I hurry to fix it before someone else sees it. Anyone else do this?:blush:
I have been writing a book for the past several years. When I get online, sometimes it is a relief to use bad grammar and spelling. Don't worry, we don't bite, although sometimes we might nip playfully.

Sounds like you picked up some malware. GO download CC Cleaner and run the registry cleaner then download Malwarebytes and run that. You might have to do that cycle a couple of times to clean everything out.

Two of the best and most-used tools in my toolbox (a USB stick drive). Both can be safely downloaded from download.com

As Myrany said, run cCleaner first... and while you're in there scrubbing the registry, run the cleaner too. That'll delete the temporary internet files, other temporary files, and a bunch of other junk... which makes Malwarebytes finish quicker since it doesn't have so many big files to scan.

p.s. Before running the "cleaner" part of cCleaner, you may want to uncheck History, Cookies, Recently Typed URLs, Autocomplete Form History, Saved Passwords, and Recent Documents.

Holy vapes Batman...

I'm sittin' here looking at 5, count 'em 5, freshly wick'd and filled Protanks/clones on Mods w/ fresh batts. and all have good air flow now! This is as close to vaping nirvana as I've been in the last 309 days! Just the right draw and throat hit, tasting good and blowing clouds... wheeeeeee.

Actually, no, I never paid it any attention. The days whiz by too fast for my mind to keep up.

flintlock... have you ever noticed there's somethng strange about the reported time on the "sincemylastcigarette" banners? I went there at first to create mine, and gave Feb 27 as the date of my last smoke... and it's saying "5 days and xx hrs"... I don't think that site understands that Feb only has 28 days! (this year!)

So I'll use the one they provide here, until I've saved more than $11 on cigarettes... :D

Andria

I've actually have saved WAYYYY more than $11, since cutting down so drastically before quitting... but none of these banners seem to take that into account)

Are you jealous because you don't know how to crochet? This is an EXCELLENT second project, if you want to learn.

My grandmother tried to teach me, once. We both agreed it wasn't my strong suite. I have some doilies and such she made, excellent examples of her skill and patience. I do use one of her small hooks to pull cotton under coils and between posts, and to pick the backlashed bird nests out of fishing reels.

I sleep! I went to bed about 3, I think, and got up about 10:30 -- 7 1/2 hrs! *Started* waking up about 8, those weird dreams... but 5 hrs isn't enough, so I just turned over and went back to sleep! :D Back in the day when my son was young, I had to get up at 6am every day... so I slept in shifts, 3 hrs at night, 4 hrs during school hours. :D

Once I get my ARO pyrex, I was planning on doing a Teaberry sort of flavor myself; already got the cinnamon redhot and clove, just waiting on the pyrex! :thumb:

I'm not yet enough of a DIYer to mix plain nic with flavors, but mixing flavors, I love that.... it's what I do when I cook, so it's a natural extension to do it with my vape flavors. :D

Andria

PS: I checked out that link, but they don't tell you what the flavors actually *are*... like "Crimson Rain"... it just says "Crimson Rain," no description of what it tastes like. THAT is like buying shoes on the internet! Or maybe bras! :p

None of us slept good when the kids were young!!!!!! I think that's how we all end up the way we are. Brain damage from 10-15 years of not getting enough sleep!!! That and the kids driving you insane at times!!! :p

I nearly always have to edit for typos... my spelling is fine, my typing, sometimes... not so much. :D

Also, did you ever notice how, when you're typing, your fingers will spit out a wrong homonym? Like you're trying to type "their" but your fingers just go "there" or "they're"? I do that ALL THE TIME!!! Or I want to type "somewhere" and actually end up with "something"!

Those of you that DIY, what nic strength do you buy? I'm thinking of getting 100 mg/ml to save money. But, it makes me nervous to handle anything over 48 mg/ml. Should I be worried? I know a lot of people DO buy 100 mg/ml. But, I never have.

It's been a while since I bought any nic but when I last priced it out I didn't find much of a price difference between the 100mg and the 48 or 50 mg. so using what one is more comfortable with made sense to me. Most of the nic I've purchased through the years has been either 36 or 48 mg nic.

When I did purchase 100mg nic as soon as it arrived I diluted it down to 50mg with pg and put it into my glass bottles for storage in the freezer. The whole process took me less then 2 minutes and I no longer had to worry about working with 100mg nic .

A FYI

Most of the quit banners do not go on calendar months they go on a specific number of days per month (can't remember if it is 30 or 31) so they are not particularly accurate.

Yeah I was sitting here about 3am last night trying to figure out why it was saying "5 days"... then I was like DOH! February's a short month! :D

People who aren't comfortable with handling 100 mg nic., really shouldn't. Safety is more important than saving a few pennies.
I agree. I use 48 mg
I crocheted three lanyards yesterday, and I am finally happy with the result. It is easy, and only took an hour. The final one was in crochet thread.

Make four chain st, join. Make 22 tr in loop. Chain four. *Make one tr crochet in previous row, chain one, skip one* for one round. Then, make *one tr crochet, chain one*, repeat around in spiral, until you get the length you need. For my VAMO, it was ten rounds. Finish with chain one, double crochet, chain one, single crochet. Chain enough for cord, cut and pull thread through. Continuing in same direction, thread cord through the final row, tie off. THEN, picking up cord at the transition, pull it back out. This serves as a drawstring, so there is no way it can come loose. The net serves to help you see the screen and buttons without difficulty. This is stretchy enough that it will work with almost any tube mod.

OOPs. I made a mistake.
Gonna make one for my sister!! And yes, I'm a guy, I'm not gay and I Crochet. :glare:

A great big "Hearddat!" on the kid driving me nuts sometimes... but he was worth it. :thumb:

I always got enough sleep, because if I didn't, my husband -- no, wait, EVERYBODY -- doesn't like me when I don't! But I rarely got it all at once... ;) I'm a champion napper!!

Bill Bixby said,"You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." Sounds like you when you don't get enough sleep. My family always knew to leave me alone for the first hour in the morning until I got enough coffee and smokes in!!!

I purchase/use 60mg nic and do not use any protective gear. Besides, 60 can be factored by 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 15, 20 & 30 (yeah, I have a numerical pattern relationship quirk).

BTW, the Babylonians used the sexagesimal system. Their base was 60, rather than 10 as ours. Ya can blame them for 360 degrees in a circle. Talk 'bout livin' in da past...

I always wondered why God didn't make us with twelve fingers. I think twelve-fingered people ought to stage an uprising against cosmetic amputation, and work to spread the gene.

Howdy.....
you folks got room fer another ole dude ??
I brung my own chair......just need a spot to park it :)

master-KD002-630x630.jpg

How nice of you to bring your own rocker! We've got plenty of room for more! Welcome, I think you're going to fit right in!!

I covet all y'all's stuff! :D If I had even half of what you guys have, I'd think I was rich! But I'm sure I'll get there, considering how I'm going already... eRoll... 3 wks later, iTaste vv3... lots of juices, most of which I either don't think I like, or they just need to sit in the dark for awhile... and today I have GOT to get some more needle tips, it's the only possible way to fill these eRoll tanks, and seems the most sensible way to fill anything else, too. *sigh*

Oh my ARO has shipped... YAY!!! NC isn't that far away, so I should have it early next week, god willin and no more snowpocalypse... :D

Andria

There are needle tip bottles or you could use a syringe with a blunt tip needle. I got the really long ones to make it easier to reach the bottom of the juice bottle.

I'll definitely hang on to it.... I don't know if *I* will get to a point of rebuilding them, I'm hopelessly clumsy and don't see well, close-up... but it could definitely go on the "honey-do" list... ;) My husband is extremely handy, show him something that needs fixing, and he's all over it, so it's not out of the question. I'm sure that faced with a choice between me going back to expensive cancer-sticks, or rebuilding something for me, he'd definitely choose the latter! :D And his eyes work fine!

Andria

Just show him some of the youtube videos. There's tons out there. It's not hard once you understand what is needed. Even I can do it! He might even enjoy doing it for you. When I was using the vivi nova's I'd make 10 coils at a time. And you don't have to make a new coil each time either. Just pull out the cotton wick, do a dry burn to get the gunk off and put some new wick in and you're good as new.

Let me give you my take on the Provari (Realise I just got my "Your Provari has shipped" email).

1st the iTaste and eROll for that matter do not have replaceable batteries. Eventually the batteries will fail to charge anymore. With the Provari and all the other replaceable battery devices you just buy new batteries to stick in it. With the iTaste and eRoll you toss the whole device and start over.

2nd The Provari has a proven track record of extreme durability. I have read about them being run over by 18 wheelers and still working. Taking a dunk in a pool by accident and once dried out in rice still working.

3rd the Provari comes with a 1 year warranty and an option to buy a 2nd year. Even when out of warranty the repairs are fast and cheap if they are needed.

4th the Provari fire at a much higher rate of electrical cycles so it is much smoother than many other regulated devices. Some people can tell this difference and some can't.

In short it is a quality device built to last years which is why I got one.

I was certain that I didn't want anything larger than the slim Riders I have - until I got a ProVari mini. Wow, it's heavier and fatter until 3 days later when I was saying, this is really not so bad afterall, and then realized whenever I vaped I was always reaching for the ProVari. I love it. Now I have 2 ZMax mini's as well which are the same size, (but much cheaper) and now the Riders are only sometimes in the mix. I love that I can just pop a new battery in and I'm back in business. So, it's something to consider because it's a lot easier to replace a battery than the whole device.

It's funny. I just was emailing with a friend who thought her husband's eGo was a mechanical. Yep, there's lots to understand with these things and it's interesting to watch the progression from one device to another as people learn more. It's fabulous that we have so many choices so we can find what works for each of us. Now if the idjits in gubmint will just leave us alone!!! We're doing just fine without them trying to protect us (and find new avenues to collect revenues).

I will always be a REOnaut I think. The combination of the REO + the RM2 and a well built coil just work for me. That said sometimes I use a regulated device for juices that might be a tad more delicate than the unregulated REO behaves well with. For those I have always used my Vamo or twists. Well twists are disposable so not a long term solution. The vamo, well mine is still going at 10 months old but it is not built to last. With the specter of the government being idiots built to last matters to me now.
