I think they're owned by Hohmtech, and they're definitely based in CA. Blech...I don't even care anymore about that doodoo company.

LOL so many mods/juices on ebay...with nictotine...just worded a little differently to hide from Paypal.
Nowhere on their site does it say where they're from. Always a red flag fur me. :) I always go to contact or about us pages. If there's no location... I'm gone.

Gary me too. First thing I always check. Location and contact info. If they dont give that I dont buy.

And I also dont buy if I dont see that little lock before the website name even if they give contact info.

Paypal changed their policy. If you get pre-approval you can use paypal for the following.

"Providing file sharing services or access to newsgroups; or selling alcoholic beverages, non-cigarette tobacco products, e-cigarettes or prescription drugs/devices."

PayPal

Yeah and I think both Ebay and Paypal are turning a blind eye to it, so much e-cig stuff on eBay being listed and sold.
Lotta changes there since they split up to separate entities.

I use Paypal for vape stuff all the time. I use the delayed payment thing. It gives me 14 days to get the item & make sure it works before funds are withdrawn from my account, or to contest the payment.

What I find odd (besidez everything) iz after all these years talking about sealed batt modz, no one has come up with a walkthru on changing them. Knot possible to be impossible so yood think there'd be all kinds of "hack yer mod" stories.
I wonder if maybe ECF doesn't allow those kinda posts.........still I reckin you googled and didn't find it anywherz.

Rool #dos. If it ain't broke, fix it till it is.
roflmao!!! you been watching me???

ruul fore: iffin you throw it away you will need a part off it before the week is gone. :D
or find someone that says.......I coulda fixed that for ya in 5 mins!

Vaporcube has absoltely horrendous customer service. I had to escalate my dispute to a claim. They told me to call, didn't answer, I left a voicemail, didn't hear back...that was Thursday night.:mad::mad:
Sorry to hear that. They came up with a big fat F on the security of their site. So keep a watch on your bank acct for awhile. this is the site that retired gave us to check that.

Too intimidating for most peeps would be my guess. There are lots of different form factors and connectors for lipos. Even though in some cases finding a plug and
play replacement is possible some mods are very difficult to disassemble. Most of the ones I have torn apart have some form of adhesive securing the batt to avoid rattle. In order to minimize the size of the mod many manufacturers have left only enough room to shoe horn in the batt and wiring so a replacement batt would have to be installed exactly the way the old one was.
Then there's the cost. Replacement lipos are expensive and in some cases can cost almost as much as a new mod.
If the pre-2001 dooming laws go into full affect we'll probably see a lot more on this subject.

Just got back from my first foreign trip since I started vaping. It all worked out pretty well.

It was a long trip to England. I had a bag of nicotine lozenges and they kept me mellow. Those lozenges didn't help much when I was smoking but one every couple of hours was all I needed on the plane to subdue the minor edginess. Didn't even take any when I was sitting in airports.

The gear went through security pretty smoothly. There was a minor hitch at one check-in. When my carry on went through the machine the guy called his supervisor. I couldn't hear what they were saying but she was pointing to the screen and taking stuff out of the bag, it looked like she was explaining what was what. Maybe it was a new checker who hadn't seen it before.

While I was waiting for my ride at Heathrow I sat down in a coffee shop and assembled everything, then I went out to the parking area for a vape. It was a no smoking area but at 1.00 am there was nobody around.

Only problem I had was the set of adaptor plugs my wife got from Amazon. She got the wrong type. It was designed for Europeans travelling around Europe so it had all the European formats but no American connectors. Picked one up over there though for charging.

It's a pain getting all the gear prepared. I had juice in 30ml bottles, with empty 15ml dropper bottles to transfer it to when I arrived. Bag of coils. Everything disassembled. Has to be done I guess. I heard on the tele this morning that a plane was forced to land, at Detroit I think. e-cig fire in a bathroom. They didn't give any details but I'm guessing someone is looking at a big bill. I think it's a $2000 fine and possible criminal charges.

I saw a lot more vapers on the streets than I'm used to seeing over here.

Well, I googled that e-cig fire on a plane and it wasn't what I thought I heard this morning. Apparently the fire was in a passenger's bag in the business section, not in the bathroom. Don't see how that could have happened if the owner was following the rules. Removable batteries should be in secure cases and mods should be turned off.

Shoot. I liked it better when it was a fire in the bathroom. Hopefully the story doesn't make national news.

Good morning, all! Have a perfect day!
