Another 8 hours out working on the front lawn again finally got it leveled and seeded and waiting for the rain. Moved about a ton of dirt back out to the front that I moved to the back the other day. Next sunny day the back yard is next. Best part is I can't cut it for a couple of weeks until the new grass grows.
You just calculate from when you quit as to how much you've save since then. This is the one I used for my latest tally. Track the time you've been smoke-free, the money you've saved and the cigarettes you have avoided since quitting It is an eyeopener and I was floored the first time I used one, 3-6 months into vaping.
That's really good! Congrats on that. When I quit in January my cost was 3.40 a pack. Not bad compared to what some people were paying. I smoked the cheap cigs too.
I figure the cost of my diy juice averages around .09 cents a day. Not too shabby, lol.
I am still running in the red column. I bought everything I needed for diy and then everything I needed to build coils. I can now do both! Then there is mods to try...glad I bought the Pico first, really like it. Most cost for me is finding the right atomizer with best airflow and flavor you like. Also the stocking up part because of the possible gloom and doom coming our way.
I am glad I am off the cigarettes, that was my first goal. Hopefully at some point I will save money too
Congratulations, you are doing very well! $3.40, wow. But yes, you will eventually save money. And don't forget the cost of lighters, ashtrays, burn holes in stuff, dental and medical costs due to smoking. You will have to buy more bug spray because vaping doesn't keep 'em away like cig smoke did.

I got extremely lucky the last time I started, and succeeded, at vaping. I don't have the hobby or tinker drive that many here do (and I envy the hell outta them) but I almost blindly landed on gear that my husband's coworker recommended and I got it to work to my full advantage five months later.
The gear (should) could be considered a ripoff but I quit smoking with it so it was worth its weight in gold (and maybe I should have had a more solemn ceremony for it/them rather than simply chuck the lot in the recycle barrel at Lowes). Also lucked into a good (expensive) juice that I loved (and stained my teeth) which helped immensely in the quitting process.
I've probably spent $100-$150 on things that didn't pan out for me. Some of that I was able to PIF, dreaded stuff I junked, and other stuff I hang onto in hope I can stalk me a smoker and make 'em quit.
In the end that was what I'd have paid for smoking for just over a week or so, or a week of doctors/medications during the cold/flu season. I miss seeing my Dr., we have whacko dogs in common. That is so kwel, thanks for helping others.
Being able to vape outside is nice. I have been spending time in my workshop the last few days. Made a couple more pens and doing a load of cleaning. I'm now taking a brake on the porch of the workshop and vaping my ADV. I just got a notice on my tablet telling me that we are under a severe thunderstorm watch. It's a good thing I allow myself to vape in my workshop.LOL
Vaping outside is nice, unless it's hay-fever season. Only downsides to vaping I can think of is cigs were better at dealing with bugs and pollen than vaping is.
PAGING @Diver9543 - Are you okay? We had a severe thunderstorm warning and tornado warning recently (we're at 3,000' in the mountains, go figure) and it turned out they weren't kidding. For once. Hope you are okay and suffered no damage or inconvenience. You bought the kayak, right?
My shipment of flavours has been released by biosecurity, and will come on the next ups run. I'm hoping it was only the 2 documents. Can't believe they charge the recipient of parcel (me) 30$ For every document they process during the process of evaluation. What malarkey.
Glad your shipment is progressing but that's BS. At the least you should only pay if they found something wrong with the shipment, not because they got a wild hair and decided food flavoring might be illicit.

Good Morning my fine front porch vapers! Raining here so won't be sitting on the front porch but in back I have an awning.
ugh! Double the work. Hope it all doesn't wash away in the rain today.
No it shouldn't because it is between two bog areas of grass where I filled the sinking spot from an Old Oak Tree that was removed 30 years ago. It looks good where I seeded this morning and it doesn't appear to have rained as hard as they predicted. And yeah double to work because it did rain like crazy and the soil would have washed down the driveway on Monday night!
We had the same problem, good thing to own is a black light flashlight, makes them light up ( glow) when hiding in dark corners or under furniture, also great for outside at night. I stepped on one and it's painful. This is what we haveI'm a VERY unhappy camper right now. A few minutes ago I found a scorpion on a wall in my kitchen. Apparently there are three species in Florida and their sting is not fatal but very painful and there is a lot of swelling at the sting spot.
Been living in this house three years and have never seen one before. I hope I never see one again.

Mixed juice last night & recoiled atties this morning. So probably good until about July. Damn, this vapin is sure a lot of work.
I never mix more than 2 120MLs of my Tobaccos all the rest are a few weeks worth because with DIY one of my mood mixes can become one of my new favorites!

I only used baccy for a few months til I discovered flavors. Now I buy a lil 15 mil bottle now n then. And mix 100ml botts of my fav flavs.
Jup used to use one of those. But I meant cuz they were 45 cents a pk when I started, and probably 6.00 a pk when I quit. lol Then again as you said, there are other savings that more than make up for the price difference.

can anybody guess what I found - now that 7 days have passed? I was just cleaning up and there it was!well #$&-it.
I'm down to my last 1/2 square of Koh Gen Do cotton.
I have used 5 out of 80 sheets that I purchased, but I only keep 2 in my Vape box at a time and when I started using my second one last month, I went to look for the bag I keep it in... cannot find it. I've been looking for 3 weeks now and I KNOW it's here in this house somewhere.
So naturally, I've had to order more. Only $11.00 but it bugs me knowing I have some and just cannot lay my eyes on it.
and naturally, I will find it about a week after the new arrives.
<sheesh> the first-world problems we have to deal with.
I don't think anybody here is surprised.can anybody guess what I found - now that 7 days have passed? I was just cleaning up and there it was!
