Thanks for this post! I've been wanting the Red Crackle! I love my Picos
Red Crackle? Cool, it reminds me of the black&red Pico RDTA. I like the Wood Grain, but I don't have any topper that would go with it.

I still believe in KISS...;)
I personally believe in the Kiss Off method. Keep It Simple Silly Or Failure Follows. Nancy always said I could complicate making ice. Never understood that.

Kinda missed out on da VG/windshield d'cussion. But will add dat good 'ol newspaper as final wipe does onehellava job to extend da cleanin' cycle.

YMMV...
I have always used a teaspoon of dish liquid in a gallon of warm water. I also use shop towels, one used to wash the window, a squeegee to remove the majority of the water, then finish with the other shop towel. I use this method not only on the auto windows but also on the windows and mirrors in the house.
Oh, never use a cloth on windows that have been washed with a fabric softener or dryer sheet, guaranteed to streak.

I just finished bottling 200mg of my ADV. I'm back to using syringes for measuring all of my liquids, I broke the 100 ml graduated cylinder.

Can anybody tell me if this mod has to use TC? Can it be used with ordinary tanks, such as Nautilus with just VW?
$24.74 Authentic Eleaf iStick Pico 75W TC VW APV Box Mod - 1-75W / 100-315C'(200-600F') / 1*18650 at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping
While the mod will work just fine in VW mode, you can also get Nickel200 coils for the Nautilus from VaporShark which will allow you to enjoy your Nautilus with the advantages of TC vaping. I use these BVC nickel200 coils and really like them. They have a blue seal ring to distinguish them from the traditional (Kanthal) BVC attys (white ring). You must switch to the TC-nickel (Ni) setting to use these coils.
Nautilus BVC Wick (Pack of 5 Atomizers)
(They appear to be out of stock at the moment. If you can't select the 0.3 Ω option it isn't the nickel coil.)
(I have no connection to VaporShark or Aspire Nautilus other than as a customer.)

Someone is being sneaky about their 8th vaperversary. According to my signature...

PMed you, I hope. Site's being a bit wonky and slow, guess they are tinkering again.
great catch! Wahooooooooooo @Belhade that's fantastic!!!
I got the pm :)

Posted this in the FDA forum today. Surprised me that Bill Godshall hadn't even heard of it. We'll see how it goes. Vape shops sue to block U.S. regulation covering e-cigarettes
that's great that they're suing, but the reasons they cited seem a bit weak.

have you done that recently? Last time I did that, which was a long time ago......it smeared ink on the glass. Used to be a vinegar wash and newspaper "polish" was the best way to clean em

Testing out my new phone...

It doesn't do much for the general clutter, but I got a caddy for my gear. It's holding a Provari and Spinner, a Spinner and an eGo, a Fogger tank, mini Protank, RDA on a coil jig, two spools of Kanthal, an ohm tester, tweezers, pliers, cutters, scissors, a syringe, pipettes, keychain screwdrivers, some cotton...a few old Cubis coils...only things I haven't fit in there anywhere are batteries, juice and Picos (with toppers).

One HUGE problem with that, Bel. The coffee cup is empty!

Mixed up some 9mg/ml juices a couple of days ago. The transition from 3mg to 9mg seems to be the sweet spot for reducing the "mod in hand all the time" syndrome. I can vape it for a few minutes and my ears start to ring and then I get the nic head feeling! I have to put it down for a while when that happens.

It's all good. I'm tired of having sore finger from pressing the fire button all day. 9mg is my new mix level.

Increasing my nic level is what allowed me to keep my vaping volume under control. And for me at least that was top on my priority list...

Jup! I've never been in a hurry to lower my nic. Folks thought I was nuts for vaping 24 mg on a mech and RDA at .5 ohms, but that's what did it for me. I'm now down to 15, but only lowered it when what I was vaping made me feel like that. Maybe mix some of the 9 and 3 together for 6 mg if 9 makes you feel nic sic.

Its sure nice thats todays gear allows you to have such a variance in nic levels unlike the clearos of days gone by. My journey was getting a better delivery system, the nic went down...24 clearo, 18 protank, 12 in kayfun(learning lower ohm building you couldn't do in a protank) then 9 in subtank mini and now down to 7 for just vaping but still mix a 9 nic tobac vape I take to work.
Vaping Volume....Those were horrible days monitoring juice consumption that comes with buying commercial juices. Relying on our good ol postal system to deliver, rolling the dice on taste and HOPE its palatable so you just didn't waste your bucks....just get shivers just remembering those pre-DIY days.
Been DIY now 3 years and not once have I thought of keeping track, vaping like all sorts of thirsty builds with no concern...ya its great. I only know my wife vapes 200ml a month so I made sure she always has steeped juice ready. I do feel for those who rely on vendor juices and shipping time but DIY isn't that hard..just intimidating until you get started just like when you sat down to make that first build.

I vaped 24mg for years before I dropped over a few months to 3mg hoping to decrease my nic usage. What I experienced was chain vaping. I've been at 3mg for 2 or 3 years and finally realized that I'm just inhaling a lot more PG and VG and much less nic.

Yesterday, I vaped 9mg during the day and discovered that it gives me a satisfied feeling and I wasn't continually reaching for my mod and hitting the fire button. I could actually not think about vaping for a while and my mod stayed in my pocket.

I suppose that we all have a set point for nic level no matter whether we are vaping like fiends on low nic or hitting a higher nic mix just enough to satisfy the urge here and there. I experienced that when I smoked and switched from Red Marlboros to Merit Ultra Lights. That excursion took me from a PAD to 2 PAD and more. I gained nothing from dropping to low tar. I spent more money buying and burning up more cigarettes.

I averaged 10ml to 12ml a day at 3mg. At 24mg a 50ml bottle lasted me 2 weeks or more. I'm expecting to get back to lower juice volume vaping by tripling the nic from 3mg to 9mg. So far it seems to be working. I can pocket the mod for long periods compared to before.

I've stuck with about 18 since about 3 months after becoming an ex-smoker at 24. Use maybe 4 - 5 mls a day, running multiple setups, so hard to be really sure.

When I've tried going lower, I get into the same chain-vape situation. Being as I'm a vaper for harm reduction, seems to me that the less of anything other than clean air going into my lungs is aligned with that aim. So I stick with my 18, don't chain vape and don't smoke. That's the important part, that we're EX-smokers, however we do it.

Odd double post. That never happens around here. While we're here though, anybody heard about when the big ECF 10th anniversary bash is going to be or is it permanently scrubbed?

Please don't be scrubbed, please don't be scrubbed, please don't be scrubbed. :nun:  The fifth was an absolute riot!      :toast:
