Happy Birthday @tj99959. I am, once again, just catching up. I read that someone thought you had to be 55+, I asked that way back and am grateful that it is not a hard and fast rule. I still have time to do for that if it had been a requirement.

I do like my rocker. It is good to sit and vape; relaxing.

Thanks all :)

My AWOL package, with my first Pico in it, is finally corralled in a locker at the PO! :thumb:
She didn't tear it down ... she put in a protected archive vault.
You did see the smirk on her face, right?

Thank you for setting up the new porch, on about five minute's notice. Everybody lost track. We didn't even have a chance to post 30 pages of discussions on how the new one should be.
Jup........it's in Warehouse 13 :D

Loved that show, wish it hadn't gone off the air
I loved it too. Not happy when they cancelled. :grr:
I have decided that I am going to quit saying that I am done stocking up. I am not convincing anyone that it is true and the more I hang out on this thread the less I believe it myself. :?:
You're learning. Slowly. The stocking threads will kill you, and you're not helping me save money either, but there've been some good suggestions that I wouldn't have thought about otherwise.
Love the new porch  I see someone was kind enough to rescue my comfy chair and put it back in my favorite back corner. Looks like most everyone has checked in and I even see a few new faces
Was going to make a smarty pants comment about you not being able to sit in it until the critters that helped move it finished their nap in it. Then I ran into this picture.

Happily vaping away on my new rocker. :)

Kenna, something went wrong with that post. ETA - And me trying to quote it, LOL. Never mind.

I like the size of the Pico, but have no desire to step up to TC. I am rationing my ejuice and not trying to step into something that does not fit with what I already have. If I knew it operated well and comfortably within my parameters of only vaping at 3.5v - 3.7v and the price was right - I would jump on it - I am limited with my stealth mods and the ones I have are all mechs...
You don't have to use them in tc mode, Semi. You can use them in plain old power mode. It's just an option to use either one. I have a Hana Modz that is tc capable but I've never used it that way. I have no desire to go to tc either.

Damn you guys are chatty. 6 pages since last night. I've been over on the clone and SX Q thread talking Orings and scotch tape. Found out I can get 10 sets of Orings for the K5 for 4 bucks and even got shown how to order them. I was kinda lost when I went to the Oring Store. About 15 different kinds of Orings and 100 different sizes. A guy over there was good enough to put up a filled in order form. Scotch tape was for the Q the battery side panel gets a little movement after you use it for a while and a tiny piece of scotch tape around the peg takes care of it. Someone on Ebay and Amazon same guy has come out with sleeves for the Q but don't know how thats going to go over they have to be removed every time you change batteries.

How does it handle in set watt/volt mode??? I have heard some TC mods do not function well except in TC mode - that is what they were designed for...
I haven't used mine much in wattage mode, but it does work. I hope someone who has used it a lot that way can tell you.

Quite well. I don't use mine in TC mode very often. With the new(er) firmware upgrade, there's this thing called "Smart Mode". Not quite sure of its gist, but works well in that and in power mode.

Yep they let kids in here too. I'm a kid sort of. Hey lets talk politics. Oh wait the deeming has taken effect on the FP. Actually it is not politics more like the clown mobile just opened the doors.

I hate that smart mode ever since I put it on my VTCminis I think that it thinks that my SS coil is one of their prebuilt coils and kicks me into smart mode for a few secs then back to TC.

Yeah, I really don't use that - I *know* what I'm getting in Power mode :)

Oh well they are in my Vapocolypse box for emergency. SS works good on power too but not when you have your power set to 35w and it puts you into that. I love these K5's but I can see they are going to need a few extra parts around occasionally. Like Orings but they are cheap at the Oring Store.

I'm pretty well stocked up but I don't think things are going to get real tight for 2 years as far as mods and I can easily cut my nic back to 3mg right now I'm using 5mg. I think if I had to I could even quit vaping but hope it doesn't ever get that bad. I am a little worried about this licensing thing in WA state though. I'm sure now that they have their foot in the door tax will be next but I' sure I can have my stuff sent to one of Yall and transferred to me. If I want to keep using SS even in power will have to get some 28awg wire to get my resistance up cause I think the Provari V2.5's have to have 1 ohm plus I heard that the K5 won't make contact in a Radius so don't know if it is the same in the 2.5's. Eh my STM's will. Plus they have those spacer things at MadVapes for the ungodly price of 10cents I think.

Some vendors have really developed really strong followers - I have checked a few clearance sections on some strong retailers to see what they were offering and they had a lot of Sold Out items that the price was only a good sale price - not a clearance price... Really dedicated customer base...

My Hana is the V4s. It does up to 40 watts, no volts & does it fine. I've never done tc so no clue there. Hana's started as wattage devices anyway. They use Evolve chips. Go to their site, they have blems under the dale tab. I've bought 3 blems, 2 are great,, the last one was so bad I can't believe they let it go out. So I won't do that again. I like the Eleaf products, that's why I'm looking at Pico's. Small for out & about portability, removeable 18650 batteries, or onboard charging. I love their 30w, & 50w mods, those are the only other ones I have. Well, I still have the old 20w that had terrible soft threading. That hssn't been an issue with any since that model, tho.
