I find I use mine because I bought it (*) ... not that it makes doing anything more convenient. Actually, it's a little less convenient than coiling and wicking w/ the atty on top of an old mech. For me its easier to pick up the mech/atty and turn it around to examine / trim / tuck the wick.
(*) and I only bought it because it had a deep discount on some sale day someplace.

Hahaha! If I could get away, I'd already be on my way up, Brother! Things are a little hectic around here with life and work right now. Just found out yesterday that I have to start learning my supervisor's job... there's a very good chance that I'm going to be doing that job pretty soon.
Yep, I checked it against a dedicated 4-wire milli-ohm meter, and there was not much variance. Very impressive if you know anything about electronics and what it takes to read very low resistance accurately. I can say, with absolute certainty, that those little boxes are more accurate for reading milli-ohms than my Fluke is, by a large margin.

I forgot to add this about your upcoming flight. I haven't 'carried on' needle tip bottles but have gone through security check many times w/ these tips.
18g Plastic Luer Lock Needle
Also - no batts / mods allowed in your checked luggage. And someone said to take the batts out of the mod in your carry on luggage. Nope ... we've never done that and haven't had any issues. We do 'shut off' the mods that have that capability.
If you do carry spare batts in your carry-on bag then make sure they are protected in proper batts cases. I've taken as many as a dozen batts in batt cases through the TSA check. But I haven't done that in quite some time as now we travel w/ mods with inbuilt batts.

If we can save enough money in time, we're flying out around dawn on October 21st. Why hadn't I thought of putting it in checked luggage?! Oh, I know. We're trying to avoid having to pay $25 for a checked bag. But, if we do check any luggage, that would be perfect.
You can take scissors on the plane? Pointy scissors? Or, just rounded scissors? I heard you aren't allowed to carry a fingernail file, not even the little fingernail clippers that have that miniature little fingernail file built in.
I thought about carrying those plastic green 'needles' from my Billet Box refill kit. But, I need a needle that's thin enough to let air out of the little fill hole in the KF at the same time as juice is going in. I guess I could just top fill then turn upside down and blow out extra gurgliness. I've heard that works ok. Never tried it.@DancingHeretik

It's ridiculous that we have to nitpick through every little thing just to get on a plane!
I have on two occasions been told the limit for batts is 4 - 8 depending upon the airline. It is usually on their website. Some even include your cellphone, etc.
Haven't flown in many years, so can't say, but looks like it's been well covered.
I also use the skinny tip plastic bottles for my KFs. The ones I use do block the entire fill hole, so it's just a question of filling slowly so the air can escape out the (upside down) chimney. Squeeze some in, briefly lift the bottle to expedite evening of air pressure, and go for some more.
And yes, any KF can be top filled. That's how I deal with my 3.1s, since I don't like the little check valve. With it empty (or nearly so), loosen the top. Cover the air intake, remove the top, fill. Get the top threads started, invert, release the block on the air intake and finish tightening the top. Turn right side up, take a couple of draws and it should be good to go.
Got a question for the group. When you go to take a vape - how many puffs do you take before you set it back down? How about first thing in the morning?
I seem to do 3 and first thing in the morning 4 or 5. Now I am a tootle puffer so I expect variety depending upon how you vape.

Doesn't really seem all that consistent to me. First thing in the morning, I just take a couple of puffs as I walk downstairs, then I get the cats' food ready, feed them, vape a little more, get in the shower, get out and get dressed, vape some more while I get my stuff together, then vape all the way to work (about a 20 min drive).
Throughout the day, my vape is either next to me on the desk, or in my pocket when I'm out working... I vape a puff or two (or ten) as the need arises. I'm definitely not a tootle puffer, though... the three setups that I'm running right now are 0.25Ω SS in TC mode, 0.23Ω SS on a mech squonker, and 0.32Ω SS at 60W on a regulated squonker. I use 5mg nic in everything and go through about 20mL a day...
I tend to chain vape when I can, but I can also put it down for hours when I can't.
T'puffer as well. (Hey, it's kinda like a Vulcan name that way
)About 3 - 4 when I first get up, some more when the coffee beans are grinding, some more while the pot is filling with water....
During the day, usually about the same.

Not pointy scissors and no metal files. You'll have to leave your hoverboard and blasting caps at home. Who the hell flies with blasting caps?
Found some information and thought of something. BTW, we don’t check anything because of the $25 per bag fee either. Makes packing interesting. You can:
1 – Call, Tweet or FB TSA and ask. Contact infor here at the top of the page. Customer Service
2 – Mail them to yourself at the hotel ahead of time.
3 – Use a different tank while you are there.
(4 – Get a top fill version for the trip—new shiny!

It seems like I am constantly vaping or at least have one in my hand. I guess it is kinda like lighting a smoke and letting it burn up in the ashtray. Even though I seem to be a chain vaper I still only go through 2 or 3 mls a day of 12 mg.

I use it like a ventilator in the morning, really need to take up the coffee thingy. The stress cycle here has been on/off through the roof. The vaping has been weird. Sometimes it's never out of my mouth, other times I realize I left it on some counter over an hour ago. Doesn't seem to have to do with how distracted I am. Tootler that goes through 6-9ml a day at 5mg.
Yes! I let a lot of cigs burn themselves out in the ashtray.

What bracket arrows are you talking about? Are you talking about the up arrows next to the quoted posts? They just take you back to the post that was quoted.
