Here y'all go... for @Debadoo and @Diver9543 (and anyone else who may want to try these out).

All of these recipes are 100% TFA flavoring. Feel free to substitute or alter to your own taste budz, and I am always open to suggestions for improvement!! :D

Ambrosia
Juicy Peach - 10%
Sweet Cream - 8%
Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 5%
Sweetener - 3%
Cotton Candy - 2%

I'd probably cut the sweetener down to 1% or drop it entirely... as is, it is a Very sweet juice and just seems to get sweeter as it steeps.

Aphrodite's Kiss
Pear - 12%
Juicy Peach - 4.5%
Vanilla Bean Gelato - 5%
French Vanilla Creme - 5%
Cotton Candy - 2%
Honey - 1.5%

This one is good "as-is", but the flavors develop a bit more with a little steeping. The honey flavor tends to soften with time.

Brickhouse Custard
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 5%
Dulce De Leche - 5%
Egg Nog - 5%
Vanilla Bourbon - 3%
Sweetener - 2%

Steep for a month. I suggest large batches! ;)

Honey Nut Custard
Vanilla Custard - 10%
French Vanilla Creme - 8%
Peanut Butter - 6%
Sweetener - 2%
Honey - 2%
AP - 2%

I'm still fine tuning this one, and am open to any suggestions.

Waiting to hear back from @LittleBird on a couple other recipes that I'm working on, so y'all stay tuned! ;)

Thanks, Kaez!

@Slots, I've seen you "around" so know you're still kicking but you are required to check in here every now and the. You only have to say hello, but jeez, they are talking a lot about DIY right now. :) Hope all is well with you and yours.

Thank darlin! Yeah, I had realized that I totally slacked off when I saw some stuff quoted that I hadn't read. I couldn't imagine that y'all had only posted 2.5 pages, but somehow I missed a bunch, but have gone back to get them. Now I'm caught up.
The power cord to the laptop was severed. Luckily Umanbean helped me find and order the one I needed. But from first contact to delivery, took bout a week. Awwwww my birdy missed me too. I missed all y'all so much! Sorry, I posted on the BP what had happened, but was so low on batt life, was trying to get off here quickly to conserve as much as possible, and just figgered someone from BP would let y'all know. I didn't get it posted on the Reo lounge either.

Yipes. Hope you got to where yur nic is stored to get more!

lol I have never counted them, but legs said he counted 45 posts in the one I did on the BP.

jup, that's neighbors in Texas distance. But.......since I don't have a car, it's a mighty long walk. If I had a car, I'd have been down there long ago to meet kenna, and again to meet Kaezz.

same here!!

me too. well usually not months, although I have done that, but it's nothing for me to go through 60 or 120 mls without changing

I can teach ya everything ya ever wanted to know and then some about multiquoting! hehehe

I missed this one somehow. Will one of y'all post it please?

Amen!!! Very well put!

that stinks. I only charged via USB once, and that's cuz it was all I had to vape

I wuz gonna say the 133, but ya already spilt the beans. I wuz right though :)

I don't try to make it last really, but just dry burn when it tastes bad, which is about once a week with the SS. Bear in mind that I am using only the one mod all the time. I may from time to time switch mods, but only use one at a time. If/when I dryburn and rewick and it still tastes bad, then I'll do a new coil.

I wish.......I was puterless AND puppyless!! It's been an awful week!! I don't mind being here by myself. Enjoy it even most of the time, but I hate it when they take my puppy!

oh honey, sorry you've got so much on you. What kinda surgeries, if I'm not bein too nosy? More on your leg?

that is really kewl!!!

How the heck did you sever the cord? Was the frying pan involved. Glad Uman helped you out!

45 quotes in one post?  Maybe that severed the cord. :D

Perhaps you need your own puppy? Puppies like vape too. :)

Jup, same leg thing again. After El Whacko's surgery, I put it off until next year to avoid having to pay the delectable twice in two years. If the surgery goes south again, I can get it done again later in the year. May need surgery to help the other leg for an unrelated problem. Getting old sucks sometimes.

Morning, Steve. I'm sitting on the patio having my morning vape, watching hummingbirds feed and enjoying the wife's beautiful flowers.

I hope everybody's day is this good at some point.

Hummers, they're a riot! Didn't get called in for jury duty so today was a good one.

I've gotten that way, on occasion, myself. That's when I usually switch it up with something fruity, too. For me, it's usually either Peaches and Cream or Honeyed Pear. (I'll repost the recipes for ya, Deb! ;) ) I'll have more tea concentrate ready in about two weeks. I really did like the Rooibos juice that I made a little while back, but now I'm out of my homemade tea flavor. A white peach and bourbon pudding does sound really good, though! :D

Hiya, Kross! Sorry, I haven't been around the rayon thread much lately. :( Kanthal is pretty good wire, but if you're really chasing flavor, you should try SS at some point. I find that it gives better flavor than either kanthal or nichrome... and I LOVE my nichrome. ;)

You're very welcome, Sir. And thank you for saying so. :) I did one very similar for the Stumpy RDA a little while back, if you (or anyone else) is interested.
Yeah, I just can't get into the new RDTAs. When they first came out, I was a little interested in the Theorem, but the more I looked into them, they just don't fit my style. I'm sure they are an improvement over the old style genny tanks, but I'm just not willing to deal with that anymore.
Thank you, Sir, and the same for y'all! I normally post any updates over on the Back Porch (in an attempt to keep on topic over here). I have been continually amazed and overwhelmed by the amount of love and support displayed by our dear porchers. It is truly humbling and I feel blessed to have been invited into this wonderful little family.
I have yet to actually build any real type of mod, myself. I mean, I did a little modding way back in the early days of vaping, but nothing with any of the regulated boards. Kudos to you for trying your hand at it! I was extremely fortunate in getting to try out the YiHi mod when a kind and beautiful soul gifted me with the mod that I now have. I cherish that mod and baby it as if it were made of glass... even though it's made out of billet aluminum and could likely withstand being run over by a truck! I've never upgraded the firmware on it because you're right. The firmware that was on it when I got it has been more than adequate for handling everything that I've thrown at it so far. :D

Got a question for you. Do you have any idea what chipset Sigelei uses in the Fuchai 213? I'm just curious, but so far, it seems to me that it is handling TC with SS316L very well out of the box. It does have a TCR and TFR option, but I really don't know what I should do with those. I've just been using the default SS316 settings and locking in the resistance.

Great to see ya back, Darlin'! I'ma tryin' to keep the multi-quotes runnin' for ya... ya know, if they don't get used regularly, they start to break down... ;)

Someday, Darlin'... we'll figger out a way for us to all meet up.

Gimme a bit to catch up, and I'll dig it up and repost it for ya... do you need the honeyed pear (Aphrodite's Kiss) again, too?

Yaaaaayyyy! :D:D:D
I'm sure that the FA Lemon and Fuji will be perfect substitutes. You could probably even use the Ina Two Apples, if you prefer. As for the Lemon, I think even a few drops of lemon juice would do the trick... I was just trying to brighten up the flavors a little bit, because the recipe that I found for an actual Tarte Tatin used a lemon and the reviews of that recipe raved about how much better that made the Tarte.

You talk about dead worms here. Kidding. When you post an update about you wife, if you remember, please put a link to it here. Not all of us go to the BP but we do care.

Thatz the MAJOR problem with DIY. How much to use? If it totally sux, does that mean it just sux or you used too much? Or not enuff?
sigh

Add more base, if it still sux, you didn't add enough flavoring. :thumb:

I can help it along with a question for the group...

I asked something similar in the stocking thread, but if all this got thrown out of court and all tax increases were reversed - Would there be any buyers remorse with your stocking up efforts?

I mentioned a day or two ago that I primarily bought what was no longer being made (ProVari 2.5s, plus the price drop) that I've used for years, stuff I've used even longer and like, a supply of tanks and a few parts (that cost under $10). Oh, and two mods and tanks to experiment down the line should I get bored. Plus nic I would have waited for on down the line had not the current situations arisen.

Been slowly prepping since 2013 but have accelerated not only due to the FDA but California's continual assault on vaping. I'm not giving one of those lying :censored:s another penny in tax money.

Do have a couple of dud purchases over the years but those were learning experiences that lead to what I am happy with today. So no, I don't regret any of it. Going to keep ordering coils until it's not possible anymore because I loath rebuilding. (Standing ovation to those that love tinkering, so jealous.) Since learning of CA voter's intention, considering getting an eLeaf iCare or two as a lightweight travel/town (hour away) alternative.

Only smoked a couple of brands of cigarettes over 43 years. I do get how people like to vape different flavors or use different equipment but that's not how I'm built. I'll eat the same ice cream for a summer, visit the same places on the forest for months, watch the same movie for weeks. Creature of habit. Think it has to do with allergies. Try a new food, find yourself fighting for your life. Branched out to other parts of my life unfortunately so I'm not your typical test subject.

Tl:dr, hell yeah I'm happy, and for the rest of my life. Not happy with being dictated to because I quit smoking. :grr:

Definitely weird. Like I said, it's been linked numerous times in the past with no issues. Ah well.

If it makes any difference, I didn't notice a problem when I wasn't logged in. Can't be 100% sure since I wasn't aware of it until after the fact.

Truth is we are all after ya... :D No matter what goes wrong in the future will be "Your Fault"...:lol::lol:

Pretty sure you said everything was all your fault yesterday and you were man enough to deal with it. :sneaky:

Actually I did the full on stocking up in 2011. Probably only spent $200, maybe $300 since then.

So how could I regret vaping practically for free?

BTW, mama got a new TV & new family room couch this week with what you all spent on vape gear

Seriously, you bought her a new sofa and TV from a thrift shop?

I was the first in my in house family that smoked - beyond that I only had 2 Uncles and 3 Aunts that smoked...

Had an aunt that smoked, she died of emphysema. I did learn, I just couldn't quit and god knows I tried with all my heart and soul. For years, decades. FDA and their chosen snake oil can go to hell.

I need an "auto-refresh" for my android. I just can't keep up with this thread sometimes. Y'all are just to fast for me!!:?:

It takes me back to when I was a stoner; by the time I figured out what people were talking about and formulated a response they had moved on to a different topic.

Stoner, old, no difference. Well, there is, but nothing worth mentioning. :D

She might be 30-35 by now.

56908281.jpg

 Again, familiar, but think it was at a time when I was out of touch with the whole entertainment thing. Remember, there was a period of time before the internet. More hints? :)

:(

And 2legs asked why I've been angry so long ... just approach being able to settle down ... and wham run into another reason to be angry.

Probably best to get used to it and be ready for moral support to various state residents. This fall/winter ought to be hell for a lot of people that never saw it coming. Holy taxes are at stake.

Hey! This week, I'll be 51. And in 2 more months, I'll be 5!

Bloody kid.

Ok. That life indurance ad iz gettin kinda annoying.

If nothing else, there's usually a valid reason for those. If he can cream the insurance industry, I'm all for it. Like all in for it. Insurance companies are the worst of predators.

Been tied up with health problems in the family, but I have to snoop off and on to see how the porch gang is doing.
Been keeping up with ya all, just not too much new to write about from this end.
Thanks for thinking of me

That's pretty much me too. The only thing I would add is that I wiould be pretty POed if, for some reason down the line, I went against my habits and decided I like a different set up but have so many of my old favorites in stock that I cant affird to change.

I did stock up on a couple of RBTAs and some wire for "just in case" and I've built some coils to prove to myself that I can do it but like you I dont like doing it. I too keep buying them as long as I can.

I did learn, I just couldn't quit and god knows I tried with all my heart and soul.

Like you and I am sure many others - I tried almost every option available - even hypnosis, which was a joke (lit up a cig when I walked outside). I almost quit one time (cold turkey) - it lasted 8 or 9 months. A bunch of my buds invited me out for one last night on the town before I went back to the US - 4 out of 5 of them smoked - a few beers later I bummed a smoke and that was the end of my success - never could duplicate it. I am glad I found ECF...

Ya'll are just too sophisticated and patient fer moi. If a recipe ain't S'nV, I don't vape it. Hell, at my age, I don't even buy green bananas anymo'...
Not sophisticated, and not very patient! There's an odd aftertaste that I get with fresh juice. Dunno what it is, but I don't like it. So, it's cap off for several hours, shake some more, and into the timeout box!

Since both my mother and father smoked, I wish I had the guts to resist. My brother never smoked but he had asthma and allergies so bad he had the only air-conditioned room in the house for many years. He didn't have to live with it constantly, he had to go be in his room so he could breathe. My step father smoked cigars, which smelled worse!
I'm a bit weird (no comments, please :)): I love the smell of a good cigar. DH smokes cigars. Our evening ritual is cocktails, vape/cigar on the screen porch, while catching up on the day.

Mom and Dad smoked when my brother and I were little. We both have had real problems getting off the stinkys. Him worse than me, because he has several respiratory conditions independent of smoking.

Our two sisters, born ten+ years later, never saw our parents smoke. They both smoked, but were able to quit easily.

I finally got to go into the new vape shop. I guess there was quite a bit of negotiation involved with setting up the place. It is right next door to a shop that used to be owned by a notorious druggie. City ordinance of no smoke shops in town. So they only offer 0 mg juices, and cater to young people. The objective to get them to quit smoking. And offer healthy recreational pursuits-- a lot of gaming options, darts, board games. Counter to drug problem in town, close relationship with police, and probably the local military recruiters, too.

Fly in the face of the FDA.

He was giving his spiel when I said "I know---" and pulled out my Provari. He had never seen one, and I guess thought it was the latest thing.
This brought a ginormous smile to my face, 3mg! I can just see you pulling out a ProVari :). And, "Fly in the face of the :censored: FDA. Perfect!

But if I did I probably wouldn't know how to drive trains.
Trains.
BNSF was a client, a decade or so ago. I got to ride with the engineer, hang out in the yard, talk to lots of very interesting people ... Train people are cool!

Like you and I am sure many others - I tried almost every option available - even hypnosis, which was a joke (lit up a cig when I walked outside). Yup, that's me, too. I was an avid non-smoker until my early 20's. Never thought I'd get hooked (famous last words!), and then, despite many and varied attempts at quitting, couldn't. Darn near killed myself with Chantix. I am thankful for having been introduced to vaping every day. Even more thankful to have found such a supportive community in ecf!

I had to chuckle at the Provari story... I've run into that on several occasions over the years. I literally had one shop guy try to grab one of my mechs out of my hand, because he hadn't ever seen one before. That guy almost pulled back a stump of an arm... I'm protective of my mods. ;)

Thanks, Kaez!

Absolutely! I'm pretty sure that I've shared those before... I've dropped them around various threads around here, but since Deb wanted the Ambrosia recipe again, and Diver wanted the Aphrodite's Kiss, I figured I'd just share the others, too. :)

You talk about dead worms here. Kidding. When you post an update about you wife, if you remember, please put a link to it here. Not all of us go to the BP but we do care.

Hahahahahaha! Yeah, but I tried to hide it within a post that was also vape related... :sneaky:
I'll remember to update here, from now on, also. :) I keep forgetting that there are quite a few that don't cross porches. Right now, we're just playing the waiting game. So, whenever insurance gets offa their butts and lets us have the meds, she can start the trial.

Right now, I'm worried about my Mama. :( She's been in the ER for two days now. They're running tests to find out what's wrong with her heart (I say it's too big! ). They're supposed to do an angiogram today, and hopefully get things sorted out soon so that she can go home. :( All she was doing was getting the work-ups done so that she could get sinus surgery to fix it so that she could breathe again. The EKG showed some anomaly with her heart, so they postponed the surgery and told her to go see her regular doctor. He then sent her to the ER to get fully checked out because the EKG showed that she'd had a heart attack at some point in the past... we still don't have any answers, and she still can't breathe through her nose.

Did he know about ECF? You should have asked "Do you even vape, Bro?"

He was too busy with the kids to talk with me much. I'll be back to educate him. He has a 4-bay LUC charger for a reasonable price, although my two -bay is good enough.

Advertising pays most of the cost of keeping the board running.
