Yea ... but know you, you're likely to be still using your originals. Our are somewhere in the house ... but long retired. :D

No, not hardly, but I did use them until I had squeezed all the life out of them that they had to give up (LOL)... :D

Whenever I retire something, I generally PIF it (and, on some occasions, toss it). No use having stuff for which I have no use around the apt.

Oh, and I will bet if I strolled around your apt I would find things that you have kept for memories sake - we all have them - be proud of them... ;)

I really need to go through my old stuff! I had given some stuff away to help someone get started. And, she gave it all back now that she's moved on to better stuff.

Believe it or not, the person I gave all my 801 stuff to has actually kept it. I hope she's enjoying it. Or, maybe she just got tired of it and threw it away. I don't know. She's moved away.

Ooh! One of the things that I got back was an old Screwdriver! An antique which I intend to save!

It seems that a bunch of us quit smoking and started vaping in the fall of 2011. It was about then for me as well. (Yay 6th vapiversary!) I also started out with stick batteries and cartos. Mine were from Vapor4Life, since that company was recommended to me by the friend who introduced me to vaping. I started with six batteries, three chargers, and a half dozen 5 packs of cartos in various flavors and strengths. I quickly learned that six-and-three weren't even close to enough (I ended up with nine-and-dozens) and that strengths below 36 were useless. It took me quite a while to figure out that I really didn't like tobacco flavors and over a year to discover that there were better rigs on the market. I made the progression from VV to VW to TC over the years since then, and the progression from commercial sour fruit flavored 36 to DIY unflavored 65 mg/ml nicotine. (I really am only in it for the nicotine.

Still, I'm grateful to V4L and their stick-and-carto rigs; they got me off the 2-PPD smokes and can of snus, and did it overnight - not one day of dual use.

I finally tossed all the sticks, chargers, and cartos. I gave away some early carto-tanks to a friend who liked them, but still have every other rig that I ever bought. (It's quite a collection.)

I think 2011 was a big year for vaping. I guess the cheap stuff that was being advertised led people to investigate. And, those that found ECF discovered that it wasn't just a scam, but a very real alternative.

I started the end of February 2011.

I started with 510 stick batteries and the eGo-T (the early one without 5-click on/off).

I still have most of everything I've used too. I think I'll go back and actually try to use some of the earlier stuff to see if any of it is still useful. I really need to clean out my stash!

But, I AM saving some old stuff for sure. I still like the Vivi Nova and the T2. And, I still like my old stick batteries, in many pretty colors! Well enough to save them just in case anyway.

I have only one small box of stuff that I'll probably throw away or give away. Well, probably throw away. Who would want anything that even I wouldn't use anymore?

@Iffy you know those heads we got from ecig, did yours start tasting crappy kinda fast. I'm using one on a Kabuki and it's been in maybe 2 weeks and it just doesn't seem to work right unless I turn it up then it tastes crappy.

Pat, I'm just getting a bit over a week, even in rotation. Still have a few boxes to go through...

Well Damn!! I don't know if you guys remember when I had some VG/PG that smelled like acetone. Well I washed the bottle out real good and mixed more in it and it was fine but now after about a month this stuff smells like acetone again. I checked my VG and my PG and neither smell so it must be having some kind of reaction with the plastic in the bottle. So I'm out about 1/2 gallon of PG and 1/2 gallon of VG. I just have a little VG left so I will have to order more of that. Going to mix it in Mason Jars from now on. Going to have to order some more VG and Adore flavoring and start again. Out about $100. Who said DIY was cheaper???

Seems like there is much more equipment available than ecf can review lately. Remember when we used to discuss the heck out of everything new thing, lol?
Got a nice topper to replace my Nautilus and it's hardly being discussed (Joyetech Exceed). Looking at a squeeze able mod to replace my Zelos (ikuun), nothing. Saw a very nice AIO box like the billet box-nothing...

Lordy, I haven't talked to Mooch since the "keyRing" days. Wonder if he's still around.
Maybe I'm a little slow. Don't laugh; I know I'm a little slow at catching jokes.

Is that a joke? Or is it a different Mooch you're talking about and not THE Mooch, the battery expert?

Maybe thats what's going on with my lungs. That would be nice, instead of something worse. Wishful thinking.
Sorry, Pat! But, hopefully that's all there is to the lung issue. That would be great!

Yup. So much stuff coming out! Plus so many people stocked up and not really looking at or talking about new stuff. If you want to discuss something new, you have to start your own thread about it. Otherwise, it slips through the cracks.

My bad! Trog ... not Mooch. (it really has been a long time) ;)
Can't believe that was back in the VF forum days.
Trog made the "Screwdriver" & the "KeyRing"
I brought the KeyRing to the US via ENS. We actually got them here before Trog got his in England.
