oh no........prayers for you sweetie. Please let us know what the specialist says

oh kewl, good for her. What did she win?
Thanks, sweetie, and thank you to everyone else for the well wishes. I'll be fine. It's morning; nothing is scary when the sun is rising! :).

Ima try to mix a wee bit of juice, today. It'll be my first attempt. Hoping it doesn't result in the infamous Patooey Spit Spit!

Birdy, hope they can fix your eye quickly. The advances today can be amazing. And good luck with the mixing. Whatcha makin?
Thanks, Clnire. I think they'll be able to laser it in one visit, and I'll be right as rain. I'm going to try one of the vanilla custards from a thread that Kenna frequents. I, too, am a custard junky. That, and Cinnabon, equals vape nirvana!

Hey! I just noticed: I'm an ecf veteran, now! (And with that, the lil bird took her leave to the kitchen, to begin her juice journey ...)
kewl!!! and yummy, the vanilla custard sounds good! definitely try it right away, but most say the custards really need 3-5 days to steep to really get the full flavors out of em. so don't worry if it doesn't taste like you think it should right off the bat

wow....message received.....not many threads I post on anymore......I shall refrain from any future posts here and remove it from my watched list...

No, no, no, no .... don't you do it ... please, please, please.

Thank you all for being a tad less talkative than usual. I had only 12 pages to read, tonight!:)

Congratulations, @Robert Cromwell! An early Christmas present!

@Yiana, let me add my (somewhat belated) Welcome! The Porches are home to some of the most kind and generous folks I've had the privilege to know. We are kinda inclined towards helping our friends spend their money, though :D.

@DancingHeretik, I just love that red P2.5! And @bigbells, what a lovely gesture!

(((((@yiddleboge6))))). You mustn't leave. You simply must not!

@MikeE3, hold off for as long as you are able on the 'Buki. Because once you try one, I fear you will want another. And another !

I seem to have torn the retina in my "good" eye. I'm a bit worried; I'll see a retina specialist next week, and, I hope, he'll be able to repair it. Meanwhile, I'm ever so grateful for such "old technology" as a P3, BilletBox and BVC coils, as I can't see to wrap one of my own. And the vape is perfectly wonderful!

Here's praying and hoping all goes well for you LB.

{oh, did I hear you say cinnabun ... haven't had one of those in quite awhile ... now my mouth is watering for one}

@LittleBird a friend of ours had the same problem. She woke up and couldn't see out of one eye. She has had 2 surgeries and the last I heard it was getting better. She is able to use the computer again. Hopefully will regain all sight. I will contact her today and see how she is doing. She is about 75 years old.

Congrats on what is now 1002 days!

I posted the following on the Back Porch... really is Front Porch stuff:
I finally got around to using the RX 200. I need to use a higher temperature setting with my SS coil than I use on the DNA 200. I'm using 460 F and 60 watts with the DNA 200 and 500 F with the RX 200. The RX 200 does not have adjustable wattage in TC mode, it always uses 200 watts.

I upgraded the Wismec Reuleaux RX 200 software but if that had any effect on how the mod handles SS I didn't really notice. The display screen of the Wismec Reuleaux DNA 200 has bigger numbers and icons than the RX 200.

The additional programming that's possible with the DNA 200 gives me what I think is better performance, but there is not a huge difference. I programmed the DNA 200 for the exact diameter of the wire I'm using, which at 0.39 mm is a little smaller than true 26 gauge. The resistance curve is specifically for SS 304, whereas the RX 200 is just "SS".

Love good news like that!

Seems illogical and dumb but it is actually the most efficient way for the Post Office to handle mail processing.
Yeah it is actually pretty amazing, it was mailed day before yesterday and will be here today. Pretty good considering it was First Class and the detour it had to take.

You can do it, LB! What are you mixing? Hope the repair on your eye goes perfectly. I started to say "I hope your eye comes out well.", had to rethink what I was trying to say! [emoji15]

I agree, 2-3 weeks is even better! I lucked out with my first custard mix. I kinda cobbled it together using percents & flavors from various other recipes & substituting or adding one. I started with a 10ml to try it & it was good, (meaning vapeable) after about 30 minutes sitting in a little bowl with hot water dribbling on it. It was better the next day so I made 120ml. That bottle just got better & better the longer it sat, d I was able to keep using it. I still have about a third of that 1st batch & am thinking it would be a good base to start with & take in different directions including CLR, GR, & possibly some fruity things. We.ll see. I.m going to make another smaller batch to see if I can do it again, or if that was pure accident & ain't happen'n again. Which would kinda break my heart.

I'm glad your O2 level is good but sorry about the new spots. You've been through enough, hope the madness stops soon. Hope you held up well with the weather. Tornado? Hope you guys get a chance to dry out soon.

They did, every single time.

Yiddle, don't leave, especially over a sarcastic joke. It's a shame you took it wrong.

To others somewhat new to the porch, we thrive on sarcastic humor in here. 99.999+ % of the time when something reads like it's rude in here, it's friendly sarcasm. If you think you've been insulted, ask instead of jumping to conclusions. Disagreeing with someone is one thing but I can't think of a soul on here that would intentionally insult someone. If Iffy took me seriously every time time I called him a mangy beagle, we'd be at war. It started, no joke, over him making a disparaging remark about someone's octopus. (BTW Ifstah, I got you a bottle of Happy Jack Mange Medicine for Christmas, it's in the mail. :D)

Yiddle, please reconsider, it was just a simple misunderstanding. We want you back.

Little Bird,. I'm so very sorry. I know nothing of the condition but trust 3mg. Please let us know how it goes. Hoping for an excellent outcome as hard as I can.

Does this make anyone else cringe? $18.86 Shock and Awe Styled Mechanical Mod - 1*18650 / aluminum + brass / 29mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The bullet mod definately wasn't invented by Fasttech. I've seen it before and you know Fasttech doesn't invent anything, just a reseller. The theme is different, poorly timed naturally but, appeals to gun nuts. Now the engineering on the other hand is terrible. I had never heard of a problem with direct battery contact to the atomizer being a problem and if anyone can explain why I'm definately curious. You would think that it would actually be a good design what with the removal of parts that just introduce additional resistance and voltage drop.
I have a empty M16 round on my Keychain as a reminder of my past and my nephew in law has a patch business that sell em and he says they're one of his best seller. He sells patches online and at biker events such as bike week in Daytona and at Sturgis. Makes well into the mid 6 figures. Go figure. www.thecheapplace.com I think is the Web address if anyone is curious. He's originally from Turkey and is married to my brother's kid. Nice guy. They've been married for years.

It matters when you don't know how to work it. Mech mod not firing properly

Problems other than the fact that a 510 positive pin can dimple the top of a battery and cause a hard short?

The voltage drop on my Stingray X is 0.005V with the standard 510 top. With the "hybrid" connection it's 0.0047V.

I don't think 0.0003V is worth the extra risks associated with a "hybrid connection.

That guy is too fearless for his own good. I am glad he has been lucky enough so far not to be a bad statistic, and hope it stays that way, but I shuddered while reading that thread.

Yikes! Maybe 'you' (the generic you, not you bigs) need license to carry a mech mod? And require training classes before issuing the license. That guy skirted disaster.
