How many custard Vapers do we have here?
moi, although it's not my main vape. I had started to say a couple weeks, then wondered if I was remembering that right or not, so went more conservative. Appreciate you chiming in on that. Also now I need to try some of my couple month steeped custard :)

thanks for that link, much cheaper than what I'd seen before, especially with 1.00 shipping. I need to get some to have, but I need to get over my skittishness of heating my battery to shrink wrap it. I do have a professional heat gun that might be too much heat, but I've heard hair dryers don't have enough. Just need to study up on I reckin, or get some great advice from a fellow porcher perhaps hehehe

Anyone else?
good grief, had to scroll back up to see what you were talking about, I couldn't remember. I wasn't on earlier except to go in the hangout. Can't remember if I checked any threads or not, but if I did I wasn't having an issue. I know that is absolutely no help at all. lol

What a coincidence, I got ya sum Shrimp Phlavor Phamingo Pheather Phertilizer!

As fer dat mal-mech mod, he avoided a costly incident! Sub-ohm is not fer uneducated vaping neophytes.
Shrimp Phlavor Phamingo PheatherPhertilizer?! May not do much for restoring my pheathers but may do wonders for keeping the muggers away. How sweet. If I can find a flea dip on sale, I'll send that along too. Hope you and yours are thriving this holiday season. Again,.
I hae one with teeny tear. I was told here to put tape or nail polish on it. I cose the tape.
I think we had an extended conversation about this when the delinquent Sloth was around. Tiny tear, nail polish or tape but better solution is to re-wrap. FT has options like this $0.87 30mm Heat Shrink Wrap (1-Meter) - perfect for wrapping 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I have two batteries with minuscule holes in the wrapping that don't contact the metal in my regulated mods from removing them from the charger the wrong way/backwards. The spring-loaded arm shot back and nicked them. I've covered them with nail polish until I track down the wrapping and the hairdryer (think I have one). Sloth, I think, posted a great video at the time on how to re-wrap but this is the only one I can find at the moment that doesn't have so much cursing in it that I'll get banned for posting it.

I get some juices in child proof thingies. Don't really have a problem with them except finding them a PITA. On the other hand it's not something I would fight. Gotta protect the kids.
You wouldn't fight it? Try opening that bottle with one hand. When you go to a pharmacy, at least in California, you can request a cap that is non childproof. Why does it have to be childproof? The majority of homes have no children in them. Laundry pods don't have childproof caps, look and see how many kids have been killed by them. I'm all for kids being safe but why do idiot parents get a freaking pass for being idiot parents? Please name a child that has definitively been killed by eliquid. There should be a choice of whether someone wants a childproof cap or not. Then they should be held responsible for their choice. No kid should die from it but those less able should be required to pay the price for their negligence. Look up the number of children killed from ingesting household products. :(

Well, I THOUGHT I was kidding when I talked about putting the battery wraps on using a torch. Now I see that's how it's done. Watching the video, it did seem quicker and easier to do it that way than with a hair dryer, which was what the guy in the next video used.

I like the bigger diameter shorter cans of propane made by Coleman rather than the taller cans made by Bernzomatic. The Coleman containers sit much more securely on their bottoms, and also have more propane in them. They might be too big in diameter for smaller hands though.

Latest on my two different Wismec Reuleaux PVs:

1. Even when the RX 200 model is not acting up, the DNA 200 model produces a superior vape when used with my 0.27 ohm SS 304 coil.
2. The RX 200 acts up after just a few draws when using that coil, and starts reading 0.00 ohms resistance. Unscrewing the tank and screwing it back on results in proper reading of the resistance again, but it lasts for only a few draws before repeating the bad behavior. The RX 200 works fine in wattage mode but I think I'll send it back as defective, since I've basically become a TC user only.
3. The DNA continues to work great and is starting to make me feel like it is absolutely worth the additional money. I would feel that way even if the RX 200 was functioning properly. The two don't seem like the same mod at all, with the DNA 200's chip making it clearly superior to the much cheaper RX 200. The DNA 200 is acting like a new luxury yacht, while the RX 200 is acting like a one-oared rowboat with broken oarlocks and a gaping hole in the bottom.

Am I the only one that had massive problems on ECF today? It took five hours for me to log in. It would work, I'd try to log in, it wouldn't work. Try refreshing the site, it worked, try to log in, it'd time out. No, I didn't try five hours straight, but I was persistent since any other site I tried worked. Took me over an hour to get logged on, do the likes, gather quotes, load a picture and then it wouldn't post. Spun its wheel twice without anything happening. Quit and cleaned the cache. Later I saw it posted my post more than 45 minutes after I tried to post it, when I was off line. :w00t:  Anyone else?

Probably some of this "Shrimp Phlavor Phamingo PheatherPhertilizer" got on your keyboard.

Ooohhh! Flame iz flamin! Flame iz flamin! :D

Nah. I meant wouldn't fight it if it came to a choice of child proof or no juice at all! :) Did say they were a PITA!

I am currently using 30g coils, five wraps for 1.5Ω. I dry-burned and rewicked them at the beginning of the month, but they are not holding up. How much thicker wire will hold similar ohms long-term? I see that 28g will need 8 wraps, which is reasonable. Plus more surface area.

28 will be more durable, 3mg, but I can't say exactly how much more. I pretty much use 30, as I prefer the quicker ramp-up time. Best bet would be to just give it a try...
I like it so much, too. There are times that a half-second before I get vape is significant. I think I will start recoiling every time instead of dry-burning. When I use up what I have, I will try the 28.

As a reminder to everyone, unregistered business discussions are not permitted on ECF.
TY, R1! I think someone was on once before with the same or similar story. It seems like it was once before the FDA things were pending.

I use 28g & only recoil every 2-3 months it seems. Mine are 7-8 wraps, 2.5mm, 1.5ohms. Some of my mods read it +- 1 -½ohm.

If I can find a flea dip on sale

Oooo, make it chocolate. I luv dippin' my pheas in chocolate!

Update on my no flav joose experiment, it's been in my daily rotation fer a few weeks. Find I'm using it more as time passes.

It's near taste neutral, but with a lil' nic (12mg) flav and barely sweet. Not unpleasant at all. It seems to 'cleanse' the t-buds and 'lifts' my other recipes.

Keep in mind that I've been 'bakky free 56 months and that I'm sure my t-buds won't become more discriminating. Just my $.02 FRN...

I keep one tank with UF 18mg. I agree on the effects & taste. I think I'm ready to step down my nic a bit. I'm no longer chain vaping very often, even in high stress situations, which is pretty fantastic. Just going down to 16mg. I think my body won't notice that amount. I'll do that for awhile. I might start chain vaping for awhile but it should slack off if it even starts.

Hard for me to be real precise on the life of 30 (not to be confused with the Life of 3.14  ), since I have so many toppers in rotation... but I do know that I'll clean and dry burn my 30 coils many times before needing to recoil. Sometimes I do use the wick (before trimming) to re-align, but generally they last until the resistance starts to go up. Definitely time to recoil then!
