Can you tell where they leak from?
I'd guess from the inside out.

No leaking?

Once I replaced all of the o-rings it hasn't leaked at all. And that includes taking it outside in 95+deg weather. Note: they come with a backup set of o-rings.
ETA my original thought was that the M tank was the issue. But now I'm more convinced that it was a problem with one of the tank o-rings.

The petition just passed 39,000. There was actually a sonic boom when we went by. It's now 39,159. Don't know where the bump is coming from right now, but we're awful happy. :D

I think, maybe, the Provari was working fine. When you turn it off from the PO menu, it turns off power to the atty when pressing the fire button. It doesn't turn off the screen. So you might have been pressing the button to fire the atty, but if PO was set to Off, then the atty wouldn't fire.

As to the batt, showing random blinking numbers, I've no clue. A wild guess was that the charger was 'testing' the batt to 'home in' on the charge. Does it ever do that when when inserting other batts to charge?
It was working just fine, just trying to cut the story down. Takes exactly 6 days using a Spinner to forget how a ProVari works.

I have never seen the charger do that before. It will blink numbers sequentially, never seen random before. The only thing I did differently was take it directly from the mod and stick it in the charger. I'll see if I can reproduce the results again. Science day!
Don't beat yourself up if he doesn't listen to you. You can't force someone to want to vape, it's their decision. Our friend never did take to it and he didn't make it. I almost fell into the trap of thinking that somehow we could have done more, but came to realize that we were not at fault, his choice was. Maybe if you could get his family to understand vaping as another source of support it might help, but you can't do it for them.
Thanks, Janet. His wife is actually pretty knowledgeable about vaping having had to listen to me blather on about it for over two years. She even knows about the porch. :) I have a 25 year history with the guy (not that kind of history), we used to work together. He was my boss. Payback's a b*tch. :D He's so sick that he won't be able to outrun me for months. I will do everything the right way and give him a fair chance before I attach the thumbscrews. He may well not even smoke for months after he gets out, the urge will hit him again. I want him to have an option he understands to fall back on other than cigarettes.
4.2 is, actually, a slight overcharge, and dropping to 4.19 isn't a problem.

Sometimes the "variation", especially when looking at a difference of 1/100th of a volt, is due to slightly dirty contacts. A few strokes with a soft pencil eraser on the battery ends and charger contacts may help.

If the lower readings are always on the same bays, it could be that the internal wires are just longer on those bays as well.
When it happened, I realized I hadn't cleaned that mod in eons. It's getting a bath today. Interesting about the internal wire lengths, never even considered that. Guess everybody gets a scrubbing today.
A smoker will never start to vape if the juice sucks. Period. And you can't get them to vape just cuz it's better for them. Not gonna happen. Without a good flavor it's more like torture to them. And we all know we are all different so we can't know what they'd like. Taste budz iz weird peeplez!
Most here know I never wanted nor intended to quit. First juice... heaven. Luck was with me. But without that flavor? No way I'd be vaping. And we are all different. Like everyone here raving over the kayfun. IPersonally, hate them. :)
I lucked out with a good flavor too, not so much with the accidental quitting. It was a long, bloody battle. At least I can make some simple juices for him and if he gets into it, show him how to do it. And, of course, I'll point him to ECF.

Frum wut I unnerstant... rule #1. Always let a batt set for at least a half hour before charging. Or so they tell me.

I've been thinking about getting those, but I seriously hate that dt. And it doesn't say if something else can be used, or if that is the only one it will take. I know that some require the tip that comes with it. Has anyone gotten one of these from them?

Got two a couple months back. Great performers, no problems at all. And will take standard drip tips. I don't like stainless, so for me that's a necessary feature :)

Sometimes a KF will lose it's o-ring at the chimney top. This model has the groove to hold it in place, but if it gets out of place, they will leak - out the air intakes. I put a drop of juice on the chimney end when re-assembling to make it slippery.

That's what I always, always do. Suppose I heard that way back when and it just became a habit. Battery was still warm from me punching the button trying to figure out what was wrong. Man, I screwed everything up. Been working fine ever since.

they were leaking from the air holes
If the wick is stuffed down in those juice grooves the kf will leak like a sieve.
Ive been having good luck just tucking the wicks into the juice wells and making sure they aren’t in them grooves.

My first try, the thing really leaked, but I was poking the wicks straight down like I do on my Subtank Mini.

ETA: Vape mail; got my OWN kf today , since wife laid claim to the other one.

I glue the wick to the positive & negative block & just touching the floor of the base. Well away from the grooves. Every puff pulls more juice in & it kinda puddles there at the ends of the wick to soak in ready for the next puff. I do the wick then put the chimney base on, peek to make sure the wick didn't shift, & put the chimney on. If I put the base on, then trim & tuck the wick I often have issues. The other way I don't.
