That's the part I've been neglecting. I have a hard time throwing things away. But, some of my batteries are 4 years old now. Yet, when I check them, they seem to still be holding a charge. So, I can't let them go. Yet, I don't even really use the older, non-IMR batteries much anyway!

I know - it's kind of hard getting rid of 'old' batts. Most of them still charge to 4.16-4.18 volts, it just seems there comes a time they don't last as long in use (but this is subjective on our part). So I just got in the habbit of replacing them when they get about 1 1/2 years old. Only a few, maybe 3 or 4, have actually gone bad where they won't take a charge at all.

Once you've used something, anything, bigger than the 18350, you never go back.
Actually, I use an 18350 in a P3 on occasion. It fits in a small purse. Comes in handy when we're going out somewhere that stealth vaping is necessary :). OTH, as a steady diet, not so much!

Y'all have me beat by a very long shot! I have, maybe, 2 dozen 18650s, 1 dozen 18490/18500s and half a dozen or so of a couple of other sizes ... Half dozen 18650s are still in their boxes. They don't go bad, do they?

Could the Kayfun with 2 screws for airflow be the V2 Lite Plus?

Ooooh, I'm jealous. That's a nice vapocalypse stash!

Oh! I forgot the + part! Thank you, DH!! That's a yes! All my 2 hole are pluses. I was PIFed a couple of Nano's, I was told one was an authentic, but I can't tell which one it is. Both of those are one hole. All my full size are Ehpro pluses. I have 6. For now....

thanks for the help on the KF they are working great now no leaks :)
How do you like them? I like the flavor in my Kayfuns better than in my carto-tanks.

Actually, they do go bad. I've heard of putting them in the freezer, fridge, or whatever to make them last longer. Or, was that regular alkaline batteries? Don't remember.

That's the whole strategy of having replaceable battery mods. You can always buy more batteries. But, your built-in battery mods (like MVP, eGo, and iStick) will go bad over time, even if still in the box and never used.

Husband's pretty sick, common cold/congestion thing. Used to be what happened to me every time I got even a minor bug when I smoked--straight to the lungs. I feel slightly under the weather, no congestion, not bad at all. First time I've been sick from a bug since I started vaping over 2 1/2 years ago. He's a nonsmoker, rarely gets this sick. Just adding to the testimony that vaping does seem to actually prevent illness. Considering how often I used to get bronchitis type stuff, I feel like a lucky dog.

... Do you actually still use Davide's? I think they were the last 'clearo' type atty I used before moving completely to rebuildable. And Janet was using the Vivi Nova which used the same replaceable head. I think we've got 4 or 5 Davides, about 8 Vivi's and a couple 100 replacement heads just sitting around...
Davides are all I use. Apparently I don't evolve very well.

We once found a 4 holer doing an archaeological survey of an old RR logging camp. This looks like the luxury model with beveled holes.
I've heard 'talk' that size matters.
I so left myself open for that. Gonna go throw moldy tomatoes at Iffy.
Hold still, damn it.

Guilty of the same thing. Really surprised how long the charge lasted once I brought out the new ones. Made much less painful to recycle the old ones.

I remember when it fit comfortably in my pocket. Stop spending my money! ;)

Thanks, Dancing. I deed not know thees! :) Think I'll put the unused 18650s in a freezer bag and put them in the freezer (where I will surely forget about and/or lose them!)

@MikeE3, I succumbed to the Kabuki purchase based on all of the positive chatter. In truth, I figured it would be Just OK; I didn't expect to fall head over heels for the thing! The flavor really is that good. I don't know how. Hamsters, maybe!   My only complaint, and it's not going to stop me getting another, is the small capacity. I go through about 8 mls a day - lots of refilling!

Good morning, Porchers! Have a perfect day!

We got quite the collection of batts two what w/ 2 of us vaping. After charing the go into a compartmentalized box. Then they come out on a FIFO basis to try to keep them in an even rotation for usage.

Think you mean FILO?

Multi-multi-quotes. It's y'all's fault for being so quotable.
one attempt tasted a lot like weak instant tea with tang stirred in. I'm hoping that steeping will help.
Instant tea with Tang sounds good... no natural ingredients!

ever heard that one ... but I do not take a batt from the charger and put it in use w/o resting it.
I try to wait a little on both sides. I don't put them in the charger immediately after use and I don't use them immediately after being charged. With these li-ion batts I don't think it matters much. But I know with the li-po batteries that I use in my RC quad copters, they're very warm after discharging.

Thats pretty much what I do too Kenna with the STM. The only reason I stopped using the KF's was they didn't have enough air for nickel. With the STM I cut the wick just to the edge of the chimney threads it's only maybe 3/8" then I wet it and stick it to the sides and put the first part of the chimney on and use a microscrewdriver and make sure the juice holes are clear. I haven't had any trouble doing it like that I was having a problem with not enough juice getting to the wick but no more. Stll haven't decided whether to try the NiFe I have heard good and bad. One guy told me if I was happy with Ti26 stick with it. You can run the nife on any mod that has temp control. Steam engine even has a thing now that you can see what to run other wires on nickel mode and the temp offset to use. IDK might try it might not till I see how others find it. Ti works good. I've got one coil now that looks like a raisenette and still vapes great. The raisonette was someone elses view of how long I let them go. I just never feel like working on them anymore. Just want to puff on them. Did make 200ml of juice tonight.
My titanium coil looks somewhat like a raisinet as well, and I've been vaping on it for like 3 weeks now. Changed the wick once in that time. Still crazy good. I've got no reason to think that NiFe would work better than SS, and haven't given up on SS yet. Pretty good but not as good as titanium.

I did hear from one guy with the NiFe52 you can wrap a coil just like Kanthal and dryburn it. That would be great.
I don't dryburn anything, ever. I don't even pulse. Saves me from worrying.

I lay mine down on the nightstand every night. No leaking. Loud sucker when it fall over in the middle of the night.
There's a hidden software glitch that increases the sound volume 100x when it happens in the middle of the night.

I'm sorry, Tutu. I thought I hit "Post," and hadn't. My brain just goes missing, sometimes! :).

My charger, XTAR VP4, does show the charging progress, numerically. I've never seen it bounce around the way you described. Must've wigged YOU out!
I've got a charger or two that switch the display automatically from one bay to another, so the displayed numbers change when that happens.

when your mind is out wandering, if it finds mine........tell it to bring it home, then I'll send yours home to you immediately! (with a cookie, even though it was a bad brain for wandering off). At least next time it wanders off, it'll come to me immediately for more cookies, and I can send it home!

If you see my brain out there loitering around, please send it home also. Thank you. :)
Bigbells isn't here. If you should see him before I get back, please hold him until I return.

Once you've used something, anything, bigger than the 18350, you never go back.
That's why I won't consider a 26650. Everything I have uses 18650 batteries.

and while I'm at it, do you seriously charge 11.00 for shipping one lil bottle??? lol They may say, oh, no we'll only charge ya xx for one lil bottle. Some places just assume that it will take a lot to ship what you order, and if you only order a small thing they adjust the shipping so it might be worth a shot.
It sounded to me like they're just too lazy to offer USPS shipping to US customers. Probably costs the same $11.00 for UPS shipping whether you order one bottle or 50 bottles.

That's the part I've been neglecting. I have a hard time throwing things away. But, some of my batteries are 4 years old now. Yet, when I check them, they seem to still be holding a charge. So, I can't let them go. Yet, I don't even really use the older, non-IMR batteries much anyway!
If they're still holding a charge, they're still worth keeping (or paying forward).

Yay!

Eventually they'll go bad but it will take a decade, give or take. That's what I read on the Internet, so I know it's true.

I remember when it fit comfortably in my pocket. Stop spending my money! ;)
If you keep your money in your pocket, your pocket becomes too crowded for a large mod. If you spend the money in your pocket on a smaller mod, there's still enough pocket room for the existing larger mod you already had. What to do, what to do.
My only complaint, and it's not going to stop me getting another, is the small capacity. I go through about 8 mls a day - lots of refilling!
I am an anti-refill reactionary. One of the reasons I don't use my full size Nautilus that much is that it only holds about 5.5 ml. I prefer the 7.0 ml of the Kanger Subtank Plus.

Think you mean FILO?
I have always had trouble figuring that out... doesn't seem logical to me EITHER way because it's simply unclear in my opinion. "First in" can mean "in there the longest" or it can mean "most recently put in". That's why I much prefer the phrase "rotating inventory".

Then again, "no-brainer" never made any sense to me either. Of course the intended meaning is "easy decision" but when I first heard it many moons ago, the meaning I derived was "brainless decision".

Yay! That looks great! Have they finally come out with a Provari that doesn't require all the accessories, special batteries, & all that to use them? That's what kept me away from them all this time. I want one type of changeable battery in a device that will accept any topper I throw at it, & decent wattage.

I've got 5 full size KFLs - only 1 is an eHpro clone. Like one of the pictures Kenna posted above. It has 2 airless but only 1 air adjustment screw. Janet's got another 4 eHpro nano's and they all have 1 air hole and obviously 1 air adjustment screw.

I think the 2 hole V2's were only released by eHpro.

I've heard 'talk' that size matters.
Might be right. I got the two I ordered the other day today. Can't even remember who I ordered them from. Just hit the link here and ordered them. Got here in 2 days. Not bad. Damn my memory is really getting bad. Just short term. Long term still seems OK. Might have to look into it.
