I remember you talking about that. :) Me? I was doing it out of stark terror and am still in recovery. I told my dad about ECF and the porch (and the b-day greetings--Mom's been sick and in bed the whole time we've been here so she hasn't seen them yet--and he was actually pretty pleased with the whole idea. This after acting like vaping was as bad as smoking and I hadn't really quit. :)

Awww, sorry Mom is sick! She gets extra hugs for that!. And Dad gets hugs, too, for finally getting behind you on this!! A victory should be celebrated!

Nice job on the new porch dear. It's interesting to read the original posts. It's been 4 years so it's fun to refresh what we were thinking back then.

Yep, definitely a good job with the opening of our continuation in this journey Mike. And my hat is off to the updates with the porch design also...

While I knew that I had been using my Joye 18650 mod for a while now - I did not realize I had been using it that long...

How many of you are still using the same mod after 3 1/2 years???

G-son's condition is controlled with infusions but is incurable.
Trip's condition is improving.
Yay for both controlled & improved! Infusions are a necessary evil. I hate that I am tied to them, but am grateful they exist, & the alternative is sooo much worse. We do what we have to do.

WOO HOOOO!! A new Porch with 15K new posts available! Thank you, Mike!! And Tutu has everything beautifully arranged!

Now that's a Provari I can get behind. Reasonable price, any atty flush w/o need for attachments, plenty of battery life. Is it temp control? I have no interest in subohm or TC, so I don't care, it just means fewer fiddly things to go wrong. What is the software thing? I hate updating anything manually, I want autoupdates. I am retired, don't demand I do anything! :pervy:

yeah it does TC and will even control your TV.
I am still not sure it is a real Provari though. It has more than one button.

Nope ... you're wrong Robert. The Radius is not TC capable. Provape stated they do not think TC is ready for prime time yet - not really a plug-and-play setup for most users. This one is 40 watts though unlike the P3 which maxed at 20 watts. Also kind of interesting it doesn't have VV mode, only VW.

Although that batt is replacable (an 18650) it has an inbuilt 800 mAh USB charger. The charging port can also be used to update the chip. A Windows version of the updater will be released so it doesn't have to be taken to a shop or sent back to Provape for updates.

Yep, definitely a good job with the opening of our continuation in this journey Mike. And my hat is off to the updates with the porch design also...

I'm still using a Provari I got a few months after starting out.

Cabernet now. Jack later!

How about a Cabernet with a Jack chaser?

Yum....love both suggestions, but......got an odyssey coming up in April.....have to be able to fit into a couple of things.....

Still have my kgo's somewhere....never get rid of anything that I might use as a back up.....and a spinner and a twist on my desk....:)

Me and my provari have been close friends for over 2 1/2 years now and probably stay friends till the end. Its great to know I don't have to take a backup when I take the provari out of the house. :)
Ah, but don't drop it! Tanks break!
Personally... have two Provari's. Not a fan. Yeah, lighter than most but to me a real PITA to adjust. And I may adjust a half dozen times on one tank. Many mods out there run rings around em (IMO) for a fraction of the price.

I am still using the original 2 1300mAp vision spinners I bought myself for Christmas 2012 :D they have been in my daily rotation during all that time.

It's interesting to read the original posts. It's been 4 years so it's fun to refresh what we were thinking back then.

For those that have traversed our early wandering 'lanes' and plodded (or if lucky, bolted) up the porch steps, it's bittersweet! But, it's not only about our rewarding and wondrous experiences. It's also about gathering and nurturing those that have yet to find their own rockers and relish within this enchanting family's embrace!

Shamelessly, I shed tears for, recall fond memories of and fondly smile due to those that brought us joy, much love and guidance who can no longer post!

You wanna enter the food chain?
Visualize sharks with knapkins under their chins waiting at the other end...

Visualize moi mitt napkin grilling marinated shark steaks to sate da savories of any seafood lover. And yes, if need be, i volunteer to be da bait (I'm old 'nuff and have a valid/real ID...)

dodari,

Within my synapses, I can't recall your appearance upon da porches before. If I'm correct, a warm and heartfelt welcome! If not, just consider I'm...

Definitely not me! I don't use anything from the early days, but I tend to stick with one thing for a good while before I take to a new shiny toy and then the old one gets put away. Heck, the only reason I got a P-mini was because I won it. Quite a change from my eGo's, but it didn't take long at all to transition and never looked back. I do remember being quite happy with my initial 808's in the beginning, but I was so freak'n happy about not smoking I probably would have been happy with something the size of my mixer.

And can use flat top batteries... :)
Good. I'm trying to keep everything on one kind of battery. Flat top 30 amp 18650's. I have 7 now & rotate them. I'm staying away from dual batt mods. Don't want to get into the pairing thing. My Hana mini & istick 20 are the only one's I can't change the battery in, I have to stop & charge them.

Remember the little Esmarts and 808 d tanks that fit on the 808's?
