Agreed, I'm M.D.S.. Last one was a week ago last Tues., next one probably a week and a half from now.

Yep,takes what it takes.
Welcome to the Porches, dodari! Pick a spot, sun or shade, beach or forest, & beverage & vape of your choice & join us! I'm so glad I don't have to get infused that often. But I would be happy to get on a more reliable basis.

For those that have traversed our early wandering 'lanes' and plodded (or if lucky, bolted) up the porch steps, it's bittersweet! But, it's not only about our rewarding and wondrous experiences. It's also about gathering and nurturing those that have yet to find their own rockers and relish within this enchanting family's embrace!

Shamelessly, I shed tears for, recall fond memories of and fondly smile due to those that brought us joy, much love and guidance who can no longer post!

Visualize moi mitt napkin grilling marinated shark steaks to sate da savories of any seafood lover. And yes, if need be, i volunteer to be da bait (I'm old 'nuff and have a valid/real ID...)

dodari,

Within my synapses, I can't recall your appearance upon da porches before. If I'm correct, a warm and heartfelt welcome! If not, just consider I'm...

We do hope that you enjoy your stay and pray for your health!

Thanks Iffy, I've been quietly lurking for a coupla years. I do appreciate the prayers. I'll just grab that old overstuffed chair o'er there next to the stereo and dig my R. Strauss, Wagner and Mahler, and some Basie, Kenton, Ellington, Ferguson and Ella too. Umm, Charlie Parker too.

Remember the little Esmarts and 808 d tanks that fit on the 808's?

Hmmm, Esmarts? We used carto's on ours and don't remember what they were called. Do they still make them?

_____________
Just looked it up. Nope, never used those. Don't think they were available 4 years ago? Don't remember seeing them, but we were new to vaping then and maybe missed them? Those cartos with the stuffing in them is what I remember. And we took the stuffing out and used them as a dripper, but that got old. Next up was the eGo's and the Stardust tanks which we thought was a great improvement - for awhile. Seems like new stuff was coming out every few minutes.

Yeah getting a reliable timing would be nice, Docs are finally working on it with me. Working toward marrow transplant in a month or so, meantime the docs are picking heavy metal frags out of my mid-section. Glad they can do surgery laprascopically(can't spell) now, always hated the big incision stuff.

Well I went and done did it. Shinyitis got the better of me. I pre-ordered one of these. Should arrive right around my 4 year vaperversay in a couple-few weeks. Its the Radius, a new release for Provape.

Very nice, only thing missing is TC. Beautiful unit though, I am sorely tempted. CongratsCongrats.

They kinda stole my idea before I got it built. I planned on one big thumbscrew operated from the edges in the center bottom of my future Cromwell wood mod.
Countersunk like theirs 2 screws.

Am going to use a large endmill bit in my drill press to do it with.
It will be a solid brass bottom plate both holding the batteries in and providing the negative electrical connection, which will pass up thru a brass rod to the top of the mod in between the 2 18650's. there are to be 2 blind brass dowell pins in the base to the front and back of the center screw for alignment and to prevent any rotation of the base plate. those will fit into 2 small brass tubes epoxied into the stabwood body.

Ha, sure I brought 'em. I'll give you a heads up when I'm doing Stravinski or Prokofiev and you can use 'em, just don't plug 'em in. Actually they're the phones we use at the range when we're practicing our shooting, ain't no cords on 'em to plug. M2H2 Browning makes a helluva racket. Love it here in wide open spacesof New Mexico, not many nosey-snoops.

Ciaou, gotta run.

I started with some 510 auto batteries and fill stuffed cartos. Quickly moved to vv egos and Stardust type (CE4?) clearos. Darn leaky things! Got some EVODs and still use them! Of course now I rebuild them. I tend to stay behind the times. Fairly recently got my first Kayfun (Lite V2) as a PIF and although I love it (and am thinking of getting another) , it is not very practical for shoving in a pocket when working. I also have several Taifuns, but same thing. Looking forward, however, to the Clouper, and when I get home next week I will start some serious research on TC. I follow what legs, bells and others post here, but need to take some notes. Easier to reference if I write it down. 3 years for me come December.

Ahhh .... someone else who didn't think TC was mandatory in a new mod.

Agreed, I'm M.D.S.. Last one was a week ago last Tues., next one probably a week and a half from now.

Hi and welcome to the Front Porch. Please make yourself at home. So glad you came out of lurker mode to join us. Hope to see you on our Back Porch too.

Very nice, only thing missing is TC. Beautiful unit though, I am sorely tempted. CongratsCongrats.

I don't consider it 'missing' TC. I have 3 TC mods. Two I went back to VW mode w/ kanthal coils and the other is still running a nickel coil. Maybe I haven't given it enough 'experimentation' but I don't see a quantum/significant difference from my kanthal builds w/ VV or VW mods.

They kinda stole my idea before I got it built. I planned on one big thumbscrew operated from the edges in the center bottom of my future Cromwell wood mod.

Whoa! That sounds ambitious. I hope we get some pictures along the way. The Radius doesn't use a spring for completing the circuit somewhat like you're planning to do. Nice!

We didn't get into the clearomizers until we got the eGo's. Used them for awhile and decided I liked seeing how much juice was in the tank. I had a friend who I got vaping and she said it was "creepy" seeing the juice. Never understood that, but she's not even vaping anymore and is very grateful for vaping.
