Kinda late to the nic storage discussion but I guess I would be called OCD about mine. I transfer mine to either blue or amber 120ml bottles. Use poli-cone caps, fill bottles up to about 1/4" from the top, cap tightly. Wrap each bottle with aluminum foil (ain't no light gonna get in there), then wrap each bottle with bubble wrap. I then put 1, 2 or 3 in a vacuum seal bag and suck all the air out. (no air is gonna get through them). Like FT I have the bottom shelf of my fridge freezer lined around the edges with packs of nic. I really need to check and see just how much I have in there. I know I don't have room for any more. Need a bigger freezer

That pretty much makes it nuke and alien proof.

Just read the TOC, and the Reddit post link provided. You're right: doesn't look good. At the least, I'm hoping for an effective date change -- which the FDA can't do, but Congress can. That might be easier for those (I can't use the word) people to vote for. Aargh!!!

Thinking. Thinking. ( Sorry for back-to-back posts.). So, two years and a little bit before everything goes haywire. Two years to stockpile. Two years to buy nic, flavorings, bottles ... Spare parts for attys... And what else? Has anyone put together a spreadsheet, by chance?

The grandfather thing has been sitting in committee for five months. No idea if that means it's going to retire there or move on again.

Don't forget a backup freezer. Well, you can buy that later, just don't tell them it's for nic. Hope it will be two years with an extension for all the lawsuits filed.

I think an addendum should be added to that law. Since they're worried about nic in e-cigs, they should also ban other sources.
Including:
Tomatoes
Potatoes
Eggplant
Tea (especially instant tea)
Peppers
and Cauliflower
Get rid of em all!!!!

Well Janet's usually well grounded and not prone to spur of the moment purchases. But after reading all this FDA bluster, she said, time to upgrade some of my vape gear. Hopefully this will arrive before next week when she's off for a mini vacation with her lady friend to the Jersey Shore.

3.25 liters?

take 1000 ml of 100 mg/ml nic
dilute with 18,000 ml of pg/vg
result 19,000 ml of 5.26 mg/ml nic

(I assumed you'd be adding flavor so I went for ~5mg of nic and after adding flavor you'd have maybe 3 mg/ml nic juice)

So 1 liter of 100 mg/ml nic diluted to ~5 mg/ml nic @ 15ml per day vaping would last you 3.47 years.

20 years divided by 3.47 means you should have 5.76 liters of 100 mg/ml nic to last 20 years.

Ok I did this quickly ... so I won't guarantee the results. See what others come back with.

No-- I am light-handed on the flavorings. I don't calculate the flavoring in it. I only add two ml flavoring to 40 ml juice.
