I did a 3D print for a holder, and It is ok... I just wanted something with a bit more pop, so I 3D printed this guy and even did some painting!

Like how I nestled the lighthouse in the back of the holder?
Took some doing, this model took me about an hour to put together.
Then 15 min to slice and get to the printer. Printer took a bit over an hour to print it out.
Looks like you better get ready to take orders
Nice job, and very unique .... you have a hidden talent :p

I haven't tried the rayon in any of my squonkers yet.
I use it in my tanks, but I didn't think it would hold up in the Stumpy's, Nuppins, RM's, etc
What were you using before.. the KDG, Bacon ????
oh yeah, lots of Reonauts use rayon and love it, so glad you're going to try it. I don't care for it

I've never used rayon. Just KGD and cotton bacon. I like the bacon better. Of course I do!
I didn't like rayon or the Texas Tuff cotton, have never tried cotton bacon for me. KGD is just so easy and I have no odd flavor from it

Like how I nestled the lighthouse in the back of the holder?
wow, I love that!! I've always loved lighthouses, and that looks so nice! Love the rocks, staircase, lights in the windows. It's great

I DO like how you nestled the lighthouse in! Very cool!

Yes, yes, but KGD isn't bacon! :)

Good morning y'all! Catchin' up this morning wasn't too bad! :D

Yup, like LittleBird said, KGD. I normally use rayon in everything but thought I'd give it a try. It was good, and flavor was much better than I remember from my past cotton days... then I had a pretty nasty dry hit from forgetting to squonk and that was that.

As for rayon, I run it in RDAs on tube mechs all the time. Holds up really well, and can easily get 100mL through it without having to change anything. I can't remember whether or not I've seen ya over on JeremyR's threads, but there are some awesome tips in there on how to work with rayon. The new thread has some great tutorial type posts at the very beginning as well.

Not Kaezziel, but he and I talked about it. It was wicked with KGD. Why would rayon not hold up in a Stumpy, on a regulated squonker? Not challenging; curious. :)

It'll hold up fine. That's what Tbev uses in all of his setups as well. That's actually where I know him from... he was in the rayon threads long before he started making mods. Sucks too, cause after he started making mods and became a vendor he can't hang out in the rayon thread anymore... :(

Oh also from 26 to 24 and back I like them both but the 26 is easier so I'll probably stay with that.

Same for me! I had everything from 32ga to 22ga and use the 26ga way more than anything else... I like the balance between easy to wrap and decent ramp-up time. It just works and that's probably all I'll ever buy from now on... if I ever need to buy wire again. 100' spools last for a looooooooong time.

Kaez, honey and caramel are absolute no-nos in any of my recipes! Can still remember da 'stench' in da room when I went to da first Vape Stock! Had to step outside to suck decent air. Every DIYer at da time was trying to dupe RY4... IMHO, total fail! Just my .02 FRN...

Yeah, my first several attempts were way too heavy on the honey and that's pretty much all I could taste or smell. I've dialed it back and cut the percentage in half from what it was and it's still a bit much. I don't mind the flavor, but it still just isn't what I was going for. I want the honey to just be an accent flavor, so I'll probably cut it down to 1% on my next attempt and then throw in 3-4% peach to help round out the pear, or maybe a touch more cream or vanilla... I dunno... need more experimentation. ;)

LOL! At least 100mLs... I've gotten 300mLs through a tank with doing nothing more than brushing the outside of the coil while the wick was still in. I've been running rayon for a little over a year now and I still swear by it. It's a little tricky if you're used to wicking with cotton because you really have to stuff it tight inside the coil; but then you have to thin the tails out by cutting off at least 75% of the tail density. It's explained much better and with pictures here: Rayon Wick Part 2

Let me know if anything doesn't make sense and I'll try to clarify it for you, but Jeremy did a really good job breaking it down and making it easy. We went through a lot of growing pains for a while, but have it figured out now! :)

Ima look. The BB Uno is a PITA to build. It's like rebuilding a Nauti coil, only smaller. Wicking is no great treat, either! Oh - an ya can't really dry burn the thing. So, if rayon can mitigate those issues by prolonging the life of coil/wick, Woo Hoo!!!

Yep! My favorite atty for rayon was those pesky little Orchids that 3mg loves so much! They always kicked my .... because I insisted on putting dual coils in them. I wicked them with rayon and could just fill and vape for weeks at a time... then whenever they'd start to get funky I'd just pull coils and wicks at the same time and replace everything. RDAs are MUCH more simple to deal with!

Hahaha! I tried that... worked okay, but I was way too used to dual coils at the time. Now the plastic tank is cracked and I need to pick up a new one before I can use it again. I'll have to look around Fasttech and pick up a coupla spares with my next order. That's where I get the cCells for the Target tank because they're cheapest there. Shipping takes forever, but I save $5-$6 per coil pack, so I'm good with the wait.

I've never come close to 100 mls per rayon wick ... but then once I got to the point of it blowing away KGD for longevity ... I stopped tweaking my builds. I easily get 60 mls now w/ KFL-lites and KFLV4s and I'm fine w/ that.

And ain't nothin' wrong with that! I hit 300mL on one rayon wick one time... when I finally pulled it, it was as gunky and nasty as you can imagine, but I just wanted to see if I could do it. That was on a TC build in a Silver Play V2 if I remember correctly. Now, I usually pull them around the 100mL mark and start over with a new coil. At that point everything still tastes fine and the coils are usually still okay, but it's super cheap and easy to just throw a whole new build in. And why should I wait for the vape to get nasty, right? ;)

Absolutely! We affectionately refer to each other as "Rayonati" over there, and JeremyR is where it all started. He's done tons of research on it and worked out a LOT of the problems. The best part is that he's so willing to share any and all information and readily helps anyone who asks. He's a great guy and I'm glad that he's shared his knowledge and experience with the rest of us. That is the second thread because we ran the first one clean outta posts... but it's still around and has a lot of good info in it too if you ever have the time to read back through it. Either way, a lot of us from the first thread still hang around the newer one, so feel free to jump in at any point. It's a really friendly and helpful bunch... just don't be surprised if ya hear a lotta people bashing cotton! ;)

Yeah, "bridge teef" kinda threw me, too... my first thought was something along the lines of "brace face" for someone who wears braces... I dunno, we'll hafta wait for da Gary-to-English Translaticator...[emoji38]

It's getting there... I think I'll back off on the honey a little more and maybe throw in a little peach to round out the pear... this one has me scratchin' my brain for sure...
Try fig with the pear & honey.

I have a question for all the Provari peeps here. I don't have one so have no idea if I got the right thing or not.
I bought 2 of the Classic style in the sale on Monday. I ordered them with the P3 510. I know this is the flat top connector. I want to make sure that they'll be able to use any topper on them.
