My nautilus has a 1.8 ohm coil in it. I set it at 14.7, when I 1st put in a new coil, and go up to around 16.

My new I stick 40tc came today, with a shiny Nautilus tank and coils. Many thanks to my benefactor. I have read the manual, but it's not really clear to me where to start. Can I turn it on to have a look at the menu before adding the tank and liquid? I'm only planning on using wattage control. When I do try vaping on it, what wattage do I start at? It's a beautiful blue, by the way. Anyone know how to get to wattage mode?

Just made some joose with another flavoring that I'm using for the first time. It's FlavourArt Red Touch (Strawberry) flavor. I'm vaping it "raw" with no steeping and it's very, very good. It's not one of those FA flavors that's super strong but it is delicious, true, and not too subtle at all. To my taste it's sweeter, stronger and more like real strawberry than TFA Strawberry (Wild).

I used 7% FA Red Touch plus 3% FA Menthol Artic (RTS Vapes' misspelling of Arctic, not mine).

Have you tried the TFA Signature Organic Strawberry? It is pretty good and so is Capella Sweet Strawberry. The Capella is a little better than the Signature but either will make some good liquid.

So I just 'contacted' them and asked if their nicotine is also extracted at a plant in the USA. We'll see if they answer. As I remember a long while back in a nicotine thread someone asked them this question and never got an answer.

Just talked to my daughter. She tried to quit smoking six months ago, substituted running. Running was taking too much time, so she quit and returned to smoking.

Now she is vaping, a Kanger ego twist. Backyard brew juice at 18mg is too strong.

And talked to my son, too. Waiting to get to substance abuse treatment. Had a half hour mother's day talk. Another postcard in the mail to me, and a letter on the way to him.

I'm feeling good.

I spent today like I have the last 3-4 days, curled up on the couch with tissues and cold meds, but it's all good. Haven't been sick in many years, so it's no wonder the bugs finally found me. I think I probably got it from the danged Dr's office.

I am thinking of a Low Profile Reo Grand but really don't know what kind of topper I should get to go with it. I am a Direct to Lung vaper and I also prefer a dual coil setup. Is there a specific one that I should get when I order the Reo

kewl!! I am DL and like duals, and my favorite is the derringer clone (Rm8 on Rob's site) comes with several color choices for the top cap. Great flavor and adjustable air. I do duals that net about 1.3 ohms I just get more flavor and TH from duals than a single the same ohms. Easy enough to build if you can see the wire. lol
Another one that folks are loving as a single coil even though they like duals is the Origen O-16 I'm not sure about the airflow on that one, and it's pricier, but I'd love to get a dual coil vape from a single coil cuz I can't see the wire very well. lol

I have been using the Kanger Dripbox and am very happy with the vape I am getting out of it. Now that the powers to be are messing with our vaping and gear I am thinking of getting a Reo. I think having a virtually indestructible mod should be added to my gear. I am thinking of a Low Profile Reo Grand but really don't know what kind of topper I should get to go with it. Vape you can start at about 14 watts then take a vape
From there hit the up arrow or down arrow one time to adjust the watts one notch at a time until you find the vape you like. Once you find that you don't need to touch the settings again until you change to a coil of a different ohm.

I have seven Reos, six BilletBoxes, four P3's, two P2.5's, two ProVape Radii, two mechs, and several random mods. (Sounds like the Twelve Days of Christmas! ) I'm short on KFL V2 parts, kanthal and cotton, and am awaiting the release of the BilletBridge Sport (uses a subtank mini build deck). With this stuff and a dozen more batteries, I'll be fine. But I am so sad for the many folks who may never know the life saving wonder of this thing we call vaping.

I ordered one of those just for the TC feature and to replace my iStick 20W that's developing worn 510 threads. Small mods that slip in a pocket are my choice for doing chores around the house.

I bought several of my setups on the classies and on ProVape's specials page. I have more than I need. Some stuff will be PIF'd; I can't stand the thought of a smoker being unable to source a decent mod. It's just wrong, on so many levels.


Sadly, darlin', the regs do apply. Enforcement won't be easy, but is a distinct possibility. Write to your elected representatives and to anyone else you can think of. Our best short-term hope is passage of the appropriations bill. Longer term, I think the court system will be the final arbiter.

Yep, they may not detect them all, but anything without an FDA certification number will be confiscated at the docks I suppose. Stock up on hardware and find a way to have juice.

At least the largest Chinese companies will have no issues registering their products with the FDA. I'm hoping my favorite Dekang and Hangsen NET juices won't be restricted.

I may have to enter the DIY clan.

Jup they nailed it all, but I can't see that surviving in court. Ok......you can have an 18650 battery because we're pretty sure you intend to use it in a flashlight......... but you can't have one, we saw that you bought nic, yur gonna use it to vape with. Also can't see if surviving court when Temco gets told it can't sell a wide variety of wires that it likely sold for other purposes before vaping was even invented. I could be wrong, but I just don't see that holding up.


I remember when you couldn't get him to like any type of tank/clearomizer........it was boge 510 period. He'd try the tanks/clearos but hated em. That all changed when the vivi nova rolled into town!

Temco and other SS wires are used for flower arranging.

However, I just realized that with 24mg nic I could make 6 bottles of 4mg juice. That's a safer way to DIY. Anyone know where I can buy USP grade nic at 24mg/ml strength?

Any nic around the house is a potential hazard to kids, unless it is your preferred level (and even that is a minor hazard). Even 24mg would be a hazard. Best to keep it in a *locked* cabinet or freezer. Where do you keep bleach? Or toilet cleaner? Or any other dangerous substance?

I have no doubt that nicotine - whether it is extracted in India, China, etc. meets certain guidelines and is of a good quality.

For example the one thing that stuck out with the USA Liquid Nicotine company was claiming that their tobacco product was not treated with DDT (banned in the US) and that they do not use inferior/lower quality tobacco mixes to extract their nic, but what that actually means to us - I am not absolutely sure...

They also say something like "our nicotine is not subject to import bans into the US". Well, the fact is that no one's nicotine is subject to import bans into the US.

Well I stopped procrastinating and re-coiled two of my KFV4s. One was 5 months in use and the other 4 months. I really can't complain about spending too much time making coils I tend not to re-coil often.

I recognize that boat, from the inside! I have oodles of building supplies but recently got some new pre-made coils rather than build.

I have trouble figuring out the relationship between TFA and Signature. Since TFA doesn't make a flavor by that name, I presume that TFA Signature Organic Strawberry is a rebranding Signature name for an existing TFA strawberry flavor. All that aside, though, I'm so happy with the FlavourArt Red Touch Strawberry that my strawberry search is over.

Thanks for reminding me. I'd forgotten about my order. If I don't get it and have to file a refund request, they sure will be getting negative feedback from me, not for failing to honor the too-good-to-be-true price, but for lying about having sent it.

I don't think it's going to be a problem getting wire. It has been around for a long time and has many uses aside from vaping. Kanthal, for instance, has long been used in heating elements in addition to several other uses.
