We can all try to guess what will happen in the next 2 years + 90 days, but the one thing that I see already happening is a lot of items in closeout sales. I've seen $5 to $15 rebuildable atomizers here and there. vape shops are reducing and re-designing their stock levels.

Kayfuns are getting cheap and so are lots of other rebuildables. At first, I thought that so many sub ohmers had quit buying tootle puffer tanks that they weren't a viable product. Then, I realized that the low prices were the best thing that could happen to a 10 watt vaper!

There hasn't been a lot of talk about what will happen with wattage limits. Does anyone think that we will be stuck with a 20W limit on power, for instance? Does anyone think that my 200W mod that I bought for the dual 18650 battery life will still be on the shelves?

Absolutely no way to tell how it is going to come out in the end.

Just got an email from Madvapes. One of the last paragraphs:

While Madvapes feels that the new regulation could be detrimental to public health, as it ignores not only scientific evidence, but common sense as well, Madvapes has been preparing for this regulation and plans to work closely with the FDA. However, Madvapes will continue to evaluate its legal options with respect to this regulation as well as legislative avenues to change the grandfather date of the deeming regulation. Madvapes hopes that continued lobbying and advocacy efforts will allow FDA to adopt realistic changes to the current deeming regulations, which would allow millions of smokers to choose a cleaner option in electronic cigarettes well into the future.

This has probably already been mentioned, I am terrible about not going back and reading everything. But has anyone noticed that new attys are coming out so fast and reviewers are reviewing stuff like crazy. So far watched reviews on Theorem, Avacado, KF v3 sounds like the v5 is going to be hard to come by. Slotted SS coils just tons of stuff coming out. Also heard the SXQ has been shipped to the vendors. So for now it is definately business as usual only speeded up.
I worry about buying any of the new stuff that may not really be ready to be released.
I felt like the 2 ml capacity of the KFL mini V3 wasn't enough for me either. It helped me resist getting one. The V5 is def on my radar.
2 ml is pretty tiny. But, might be perfect for stealth in public places.

2.5mm is pretty small for subohming at least my understanding the bigger the better for more juice.
At the lowish watts I run it works. I only push 14.3 watts through it.

I am not really cloud chasing. I want that initial bit of cloud and heat from the sub ohm which for me simulates the TH that is missing in my juice. I do not need to fog the room. :)

NO! They are not the same Deb. Silver is silver and SS is stainless steel. :)
derrrrrrr my eyes saw silver, and my brain said......newp, that was stainless, and I foolishly listened to the brain.

Just checking in. I'm not even close to being able to catch up on the Front Porch Back Porch (I'm so scatterbrained right now, I don't even know where I am! ), but I'm still alive and kickin'... contemplating what else I need to stock up on before the dust settles with the regs. Other than that, busy, busy, busy here at work... and for the record: Maintenance sucks... but I suppose that it's one of those necessary evils when one works in a rather dangerous environment.

Love Y'all!!
good to see ya darlin!!! Hope things settle a bit for ya and you can catch up to your brain!

My problem with all the rhetoric and BS is that I don't NEED or WANT the government to make my life safer.
all the while poisoning us with GMO crap in our food

That gives me a new business idea, I'll go door to door selling Doors. A door to door Door salesman. Cuz everybody likes The Doors, right? Oh, wait, you meant the other kind of doors. Well now it sounds like a stupid idea, I mean if I have to knok on their door, then obviously they already have a door, so what good does it do to go door to door asking 'em if they want to buy a door?

And...OK, now I'm just getting a little goofy, must be the nic buzz from accidentally the wrong juice (ie high nic meant for my tootle puff gear) in my Simba. 18mg nic in a tank with .5ohm coils at 28 watts, yeah, that'll make ya dizzy. Next time I mix I should use different bottles to diferentiate my high nic juice from my low, since apparently I can't be bothered to actually read the label I put on the bottle.
That was hilarious! Thanks for the giggles.

Okay, gotcha. Be interesting to see if they do try though.
forgot who wuz gonna try what. lol

Can't remember if vaping is banned in your apartment or condo in the Bay Area. It's insane.
that's nuts........but.......draw the curtains, vape away and dare em to prove yur doin it!!

I think the absolute best thing would be if we do get the Cole Bishop ammendment passed, or at least HR 2058 to make the grandfathered date be 2016 AND......get congress to either put vaping under someone else auspices, or force the FDA to put it under a different regulating framework. Then simply have safety codes drawn up that manufacturers have to meet. Yes I'm papaphrasing Dr. Siegel on this, I think he's right on the money! But I do think if either of those happened, that we would see a greatly reduced amt of ohms. I would think around 60 watts. And honestly, I don't think anyone needs more than that to be able to stay off cigs. Yeah many do get a more pleasurable vape with 100+ watts, don't ask me how......but I don't think it's needed to be able to stay off cigs.

I should probably clarify something.

I have 3 subtank minis set up with .5 ohm kanthal builds all on regulated devices.

I have 1 subtank set up with a factory made clapton coil also .5 ohm on a regulated device

I have the drip box setup with the factory coil at .22 ohm(I think) on the regulated dripbox mod. This one is going to get redone higher it is too much cloud for me.

I have one REO setup with a .7 ohm coil. Yes this is a mech but at .7 ohm it pulls less than half the ohms the high quality battery I have in it can take.

My other 2 REOs are at 1 ohm exactly.

So yes I am a subohmer. I want just enough vapor to satisfy my need to smoke but not enough to become a public nuisance. I also never vape in public except in my own car which my husband does not object to.
ProVari and BilletBox setups are at 1.2-1.6 ohms, all under 12 watts. Radius setups are .6-.8 ohms, between 20-25 watts. SX Mini setup varies. Reos are almost all at .4 ohms (dual coils), as are mechs. When I need or want more Nic, I reduce ohms and blow clouds. Birds like clouds :)

...I do not need to fog the room. :)
Birds like fog, too ...

I DO vape in public. There's a mod and spare batteries in my purse whenever I go out. Out=tootle puffing, tho - unless I'm visiting my local vape shop.

And yes, @FlamingoTutu, I'm afraid Tweety does have talons. She tries very hard to keep them tucked under and in, having hurt people with them. As is the case with most LB's, Tweety is much sad when she discovers she's hurt someone. But the talons do come out now and again.

Last week, we were talking about the Kayfun v4. I ordered 3 from slotech and they should deliver sometime this year. But on Sunday, I got a super secret hint of where I might get some, so I did.
They were all gone within 24 hours, so by the time I got back from the parent's on Sunday, it was too late to let anyone know.
There are still a lot of great deals at Moutain Oak vapers if anyone wants to look in the clearance section...
In the mean time a short message of 1,000 words for the FDA.
I'm ready for you ....***s!!

Excellent double post. Especially like the last paragraph.

Don't live in the Bay Area, thankfully. Can't imagine owning a condo and then someone making a law saying you can't vape in it.
On the subject of talons... Mine are out as regards deeming. I am very, very angry.
I'm still seeing a lot of very angry posts (directed at the FDA) around ECF. For once it hasn't faded out after a day or two. I'm still vacillating between disbelief and anger.

There are some very good deals, I just don't need any of that stuff but you guys should have a look. ** CLEARANCE **
Stock up on 100 watt light bulbs for a dripper heat source before they all get replaced by fluorescent. ;)
Finally found some "soft white" fluorescent bulbs that aren't as bad. Don't think you can buy the incandescent ones here anymore, haven't seen them stocked for a while. :(
