Just saw this... interesting concept for an rda. Wanko RDA
It uses a fuse-like design for the coils. Install your wick, then plug and play. Coil availabilities are 1Ω Kanthal, 0.6Ω ohm SS, and 0.35Ω Clapton.

Also looks like it wouldn't be terribly hard to modify it for BF for your favorite squonker. ;)

Really ECF? Editing a perfectly innocent RDA name? VVanco (had to put two 'V's together to make a 'W')

They need to come up with a coil that does not need rebuilding nor does it need wicking. Maybe get gunked up over a week or two - you dismantle - wipe it clean and keep on vaping. Maybe replace once a year or so...

That would be a perfect set-up. Not really sure how to accomplish that, though. Perhaps some sort of gravity-feed system with a hot-water heater type element that would be inside a "juice puddle"... but the design of it would be well beyond my limited talents. ;)

You probably just described it to a tee. Can't be impossible to accomplish, but I would be afraid of the price tag... No matter what it really took to build it - they would charge a fortune...

I'm usuallly not a Tootle Puffer. But no longer an extreme cloud chaser, either. With mechs, I would run very low sub-ohm to get the vape I wanted. Now, with regulated, I run between 0.5Ω and 0.75Ω... usually around 40-50W. But I'd kinda like to resurrect my old Tesla mod, so I'm thinking the Kayfun V3 Mini might just be the perfect little atty for that. :)

Making another fly-by here (been a while, but I recognize so many of y'all.)

Kaz, GET the KF V3..... GET the KF V3..... GET the KF V3

I'm pretty sure that something like that could work... I even have kind of a picture of it in my mind. The question is, how can I mock one up... I'm no good at doing design drawings, but gimme some parts and I'll figure out a way to make 'em go together. You're probably right, though... it'd be fairly cheap to build, but they'd charge an arm and a leg for them anyway. If they can't charge you $15 for a 5-pack of coils every couple of weeks, then they're gonna want to get that money from ya up front. ;)

Hahahaha! Heya, Darlin'! Good to see ya poppin' by again!'s Ya!

Yeah, I'll probably end up getting the KF V3... it's already in the cart, just waiting for me to pull the trigger. ;)

Thanks medleypat. :thumb: I searched and searched but could not find a video of the CLOCC rebuild (mentioned earlier that I messed up and left out the "L") Here's a link to the coil I'm referring to:
Kanger CLOCC Replacement Coil Atomizer Head
If you do have a link to a video about rebuilding this coil, please share it. ;) :)

Thanks!

After some of the things I have heard Hoosier vapes say that I found out were not true I'm not sure who to believe. They said a vape shop was checked on by the ATC but didn't name which one why not? I take everything I read with a grain of salt. I want facts and when you mention something then say you can't say any more playing same games as politicians.

Thanks, Legs! I actually have the FT one in my cart over there, but I'll keep an eye out for the Tobeco version! $15 isn't bad at all.
Kazz get the TObeco one. I have 2 Kayfun clones from fasttech and both rust HORRIBLY.

Even the black one? I kinda want to get the black to match the mod, and the FT one comes with smoked glass. Of course, I could just get the glass to put on the Tobeco one...

Guess FT is hit or miss on that. I built a couple of my KFs from FT parts, and other than terminal screws on one base, no rust problems at all. Swapped them out.

Although another base didn't have the juice channels milled deep enough, so dremeled them out...

I remember reading about this one before - I don't think it took off. One thing would be the costs - the other - not as functional as advertised... Not sure - could be another one that was similar that I remember...
