I remember reading about this one before - I don't think it took off. One thing would be the costs - the other - not as functional as advertised... Not sure - could be another one that was similar that I remember...
There were 2 like that that came out about the same time. Neither one was well received. THe complaint I saw was that the thing they used for a coil really was not lasting much longer than a regular coil and was REALLY expensive.

Yup! A buck fifteen for ONE tank & set up! Then there is still a wick involved so that doesn't exactly fit Semi's complete idea either. I do think that if their "chip" was laying flat on the surface of a puddle of juice, like a little raft, that MIGHT work but you'd have to have a very shallow pan, dripper. Eeh, food for thought.............

Just saw this... interesting concept for an rda. ....o RDA
It uses a fuse-like design for the coils. Install your wick, then plug and play. Coil availabilities are 1Ω Kanthal, 0.6Ω ohm SS, and 0.35Ω Clapton.

Also looks like it wouldn't be terribly hard to modify it for BF for your favorite squonker. ;)

That's a new 'take' on a quick change coil. Kind of a neat idea.

They need to come up with a coil that does not need rebuilding nor does it need wicking. Maybe get gunked up over a week or two - you dismantle - wipe it clean and keep on vaping. Maybe replace once a year or so...

Semi- ... maybe you need a miniature power washer ... something like the ultra sonic cleaners the dentists use now-a-days when cleaning your teeth. hmmm? Something like this can be bought for about a grand. You be good with numbers ... how many coils do I have to reclaim to get a pay back on the purchase?

Vape mail ... I like vape mail.

Vape%20mail%20FT_zpsfoml774e.jpg

KFL-Lites - standard tanks, nano tanks, and full M-Tanks
KFV4 - standard glass tanks, full M-Tanks
Kabuki - glass tanks
Taifun - glass tank.

And 2 FT clone Kabuki's.

@DancingHeretik - these are the ones you recommended a few weeks ago. They finally arrived. Honestly there's only 1 way I can tell them apart from the 2 HoH Kabuki's we have. They are very well made. Even the glass tanks are nicely polished on the ends. And the glass/o-ring combination is even better than the original HoH. It is not a tight fit at all getting the bottom of the tank section unscrewed to refill like with the original. I don't think I'll need to get the upgraded OMG rings from HoH to solve that problem. If I mix these up the only way I'll know the FT clones is that the little 510 screw is a slotted screw on the clone. The HoH uses a small grub/allen screw for the 510 screw. I'm quite pleased with them.

I would bet with all the great minds that I have seen in the vape community something could be built, but just not cost effective - at least not for the vendor in the long run or the end user with the upfront costs...

There has got to be a material that could be used for a coil head lets say that could also be just wiped clean like a ceramic coil head or something and that can take the heat...

That's an easy calculation - A Lot!!! and I mean a lot!!! Look at it this way - most coils cost anywhere from $1 to $5 so that means anywhere from 1,000 to 200...

Only thing I am expecting vape mail wise was I broke down and bought a big bottle of the MBV Apple Rings juice I love so much and have had no success duplicating. I did my usual 4x flavor shots and 4x nic and then I just cut it down with my own PG and VG so the 225mL bottle I ordered will end up being 4x as much juice by the time I am done and last me a very long time.

Yup. Not a word about freezing.

Nope, but the care of it sounds almost identical to what we discuss with nic, so it must be because of the PG. Reacts to oxygen, moisture, etc...

Sounds like breaking it down to smaller bottles would increase its lifespan if the exposure to air was limited by that method.

Yeah it doesn't say freeze but it would seem freezing would be better. But as I always say, common sense doesn't always make sense. I think the best way to go about it is... buy smaller bottles. Quarts instead of gallons. While a gallon is a lot cheaper, it's not if you have to throw half of it out.

Or split it up into quarts and keep the unopened ones in a cooler area out of light???
