thanks, it's temporary......we're playing battle pillarz again on the billet box thread. I combed my hair finally, and it just wasn't me

Nah. Just re-colored it. But it's odd. A lot of it is just transparent so itz bigger than it looks. Wammee take away the excess transparency to make it smaller?

I've been thinking about getting those, but I seriously hate that dt. And it doesn't say if something else can be used, or if that is the only one it will take. I know that some require the tip that comes with it. Has anyone gotten one of these from them?

Scott said he got some or one from there, but said they leaked really bad, you could ask him about the dt
dunno if the leaking was an issue with the product, or another reason

ok.....don't really want to do this, but......maybe I need to prepare for vapeggedon.....if I get crazy enough to buy that kayfun.....what gauge kanthal do I need ?

I like 28g. I've tried 30 & it gets so hot so fast it just fries my juice. It doesn't suit my leisurely vape style.

So, the plumber arrived today (a day early) to finish up the outside faucets. He'd asked us about vaping because he needs to quit smoking prior to surgery in January. He'd gotten an eGo set up and wasn't satisfied, but he was eager to have vaping work for him - Yay! That means there's a good chance it will work. We gave him an Eleaf 20 with a Davidae topper and Mike explained how they work. Mike showed him how a coil works on one of his Kafun's and when it lit up, so did his eyes! He's a gadget person who likes this stuff so I think we've got a convert! He wanted to stop by our B&M to pick up the cigar flavor he likes and get started, but I warned him that he should start out at the higher nic, then work his way down to 0 for those 2 weeks prior to surgery or he was going to be frustrated and give up. I hope he listens. He now knows where we live and said he'd contact us if he had questions.

Awesome! I really hope this works for him. I was supposed to quit smoking before a surgery I had about 4 years ago. They said smoking slows healing. Well, I cut back but couldn't quit d ended up with hernias from slow healing & trying to do all the things Mom hiunded me to do that I wasn't supposed to be doing. By the time I had the surgery to repair the hernias I still had not been able to quit but was able to get through that one better. I started vaping a month after I got out of rehab from that surgery & healed faster & easier because I wasn't getting all the other stuff from analogs. Even with the others meds I have to take because of the RA that also make me slow to heal. So even if he just switches to vaping only it will be better than smoking. Harm reduction at work!

Like was just said - no thinner than 30 gauge. I like to build all mine w/ 28 gauge now that I use only rayon for wicking. The 28 gauge is more sturdy and less prone to crunching around when getting a good snug fit with rayon. You can do it w/ 30g but more care is needed.

What type of mod will you be using it on? For regulated mods I like about 1.5Ωs. On a KFL I use 28 gauge, 2.5mm mandrel, & 8 wraps of wire for 1.5Ωs. If you want a higher Ω coil then def go for 30 gauge. 8 wraps of 28g is a lot of wire to heat up.

That's exacting my preference, too!

I bought 4 in the last month (2 for me and 2 for my sil & bil) they work great and my dt's fit fine. If you want a more airy draw you may grow to like the stock dt.

A smoker will never start to vape if the juice sucks. Period. And you can't get them to vape just cuz it's better for them. Not gonna happen. Without a good flavor it's more like torture to them. And we all know we are all different so we can't know what they'd like. Taste budz iz weird peeplez!
Most here know I never wanted nor intended to quit. First juice... heaven. Luck was with me. But without that flavor? No way I'd be vaping. And we are all different. Like everyone here raving over the kayfun. IPersonally, hate them.

Ageed on flavors & nic level. The cigalike I tried was horrible & it took me a couple of months to try again with a better device & a a bottle of fairly tasty non tobacco juice. I finally found a tobacco that I can stand. It.s a pipe tobbaco I got as a free sample in an order. I have to take that one outside to use, the aroma is exactly like pipe & too strong for inside.
