Oh yeah! We loved The Gods Must Be Crazy. Wow, that was a lifetime ago! We were talking about that during our Dutch processed cocoa hot chocolate before bedtime drink to ensure sweet dreams! Who would think that an empty Coke bottle ....
Indeed! Tomorrow night we are finally going to see The Experimenter at an art house. We've been waiting for this movie for months! I hope it isn't traumatizing or too disturbing. I really don't need that since we already have read extensively about how people begin to act out the roles they are assigned. Frightful. Well, I guess it's perfect for Halloween! 'Night, all!
Acting out not surprising at all. I noticed while still in high school that people who watch soap operas all day begin to exhibit the same bad behaviors, & drama in their own lives, leaving innocent bystanders that do not fixate themselves on those shows, in shreds. Now days it's big brother or various housewives shows. They mess up their own lives & the lives of everyone around them. I detest those kinds of shows.

But keep in mind dat:
I toss a low batt from my in-use PV into da charger.
I also pull a batt from da charger and insert into a PV fer immediate use.
I leave a charging batt in da charger while dreaming of younger days.
I don't steep my jooses.
I don't use needles on syringes.
I can pass up a great $ale if I don't need da item.
I luv mayo on my hot dogs...
reckin we need to move the food talk to the back porch, but ya had me here til ya got to the mayo! Mustard, onions, that's it! But I typically don't move a batt from the charger to the mod, only cuz there is no need to do that at the present time. I have 5 18650's in rotation. I have been putting the battery in first, then plugging in the charger, and I do charge at night sometimes. But I have good (though old) batts, and a good charger.

Ranch dressing for the fries.
Finally someone with some sense!

Have I mentioned how much I love the Kabuki and PlasmAir toppers? :)

Since I started vaping, I've been searching for a mod/topper combo that would give me lots and lots of flavor. One that would have me say, "Done." Everyone's different, and many folks had great suggestions. I tried all of 'em! Our china cabinet has both mods and toppers in it that I was sure would be the answer. Attys with stock coils from 1.8 to .15 ohms. Attys with single, dual and even one quad coil build. Smooshed, spaced, Clapton coils -- tried them. And mods to run all this stuff. It's a miracle I didn't burn the house down!

This past week, I discovered the PlasmAir, a KFL+ V2 that's modded for additional airflow (among other things). And I discovered the Kabuki tank by House of Hybrids. With both toppers, I've been able to run at 12-14 watts and get flavor galore. Atop a P3, perfection. Finally, I think I'm done.

I think it's very cool that there are so many options for vapers, and I'm delighted when folks find their sweet spot. Now, I've found mine. Woot! I am one very happy LittleBird!

That's all. Thank you for listening, as all y'all so graciously do.

It took me over a year to find that quality of vape I wanted. The Davide and the KF V4 both work good for me... Glad you found your sweet spot so quickly!

Took me 3 years to be completely happy, and feel as though I needed to look no further. I admit I am very picky about some things, and I've found vape stuff I liked a lot, but always wished something about it was different/better, but really don't think I'm that picky bout my vape stuff. More so than some, but way less picky than others.

After fooling around for a week, I found my voltage drop problem in one of my Nemmy's. Put a piece of foil against the threads on the switch-screw, and GTG!!!!!!!!!!!!! Has been very frustrating.
So a bit of soaking in alcohol and a tad of no ox on the threads?

I am assuming loose and or dirty threads in the switch screw? If so as long as the foil does not hang out it should be ok. I wonder if a hot switch button was also a symptom?
But at lower wattages it might not heat up.

Fat Daddy may have a new switch screw?

Quit eating hotdogs when I found out what they were made of. :w00t:

Husband showed this to me. It's OT but with all the talk we've done here about 3D printing, I thought some of you would find it interesting. http://www.voanews.com/content/thre...-devices-trap-tree-damaging-bugs/3018934.html

I finally got a real charger when I got my 1$ 18500 batteries. An elcheapo Trustfire which is supposed to blow up and burn my house down. I had been using a homebrew charger on my recycled 18650's. Made with an ego charger guts wired to a homemade battery sled. Was slow but worked fine.

All my chargers, wall warts, etc are plugged into a power strip which I turn off when not around. It is hooked into a commercial EFI surge suppressor.
Which will actually trip a breaker if I get a really strong surge.

I like to live on the edge.

You've been reported to Baditude, so there. :pervy:
I have a 2bay Efest LUC charger I bought from a coop in Oct 2013 (actually bought 2 of them, one is still new in the box). Its always plugged in and has a battery or 2 in it all the time. I have it plugged into a surge bar along with a USB plugs so I can charge Isticks and such. I did once have 2 batteries in the LUC along with using the USB to charge so 3 items charging and the charger got hot...never again. Over the last few months I've finally have to retire some of my old AW (bought from provape with the first provari)and Efest 10 amp batts that are over 2 years old so IMO the charger is working well. The batts are slightly warm but nothing I should worry about and I have a rotation so I never use a batt just off the charger, they have to rest a spell.
I have a crapload of efest 10 amp batteries so I have to keep both the provari's running not to waste the batts but keep my other higher amp batts for my IPV2 and mechs
IMO it all comes back to how you acquire your gear, not saying any vendors are shady but in the 2 1/2+ years of my coop buying( and bought nothing but juice off any vendors) I've have nothing but great products that have stood the test of time from my protanks to batteries to chargers to Istick mini's and 50's and many other items I'm still using today. Both my wife and I have had a exceptional vape experience so far.
I do believe that spending a bit more at the beginning or have a trusted source to ensure genuine gear then it will save you a pile of frustration and in the end spending twice for what your should have spent only once for.
Very nicely said! :thumb:

Sometimes I'm so happy not to have TV, though we can watch some via computer. I have no idea who those "reality TV show stars" are. Seriously, stars?

Awesome, Little Bird! It doesn't matter what anybody uses as long as it works for them. It's painful to watch people search and search. The worst is when they give up. So happy you found your nirvana.

You're feeding my shinyitis LB. I know you've gone through/have a lot of quality toppers. That kabuki sure is getting a lot of good talk and not just from you. Would be nice to have a quality vape w/o all the rebuilding. I think I just reworked 3 or 4 RTA's in the last couple days. Congrats on getting to a good place w/ your vaping gear.

Sure hope that helps with the beetle battle. The devastation from the Pine Beetle we saw last month in Colorado was akin to see acres and acres of damage from a forest fire. Sometimes when we looked out over the valley or mountain side, there were more dead pines than living pines. Just awful.

I had a bunch of Ox-Gard in there, but it didn't seem to be working. I cleaned it out, but the problem persisted. Yes, hot button was occasionally a symptom. I have read that the switch screw and the contact screw are interchangeable, I might try that. After having to order the ohmeter yesterday, I'm really not in a mood for ordering anything else. I think the foil will be a long-term solution, unless switching the screws works.
