When people talk about some nic tasting different from other nic, there is a significant portion of the vaping public that is not able to detect such differences. To those of us counted in that number, nic is nic and no taints are marching in.

How's the nic from such-and-such?
Jup, it's nic.

Corollary:
How are the battery chargers made by so-and-so?
Jup, they charge batteries.

Yep and 1$ 18500 Efests work fine in a Zmax.

I have only tried 2 different Nics so far so I can't say if Nude nic is worth it or not. I do like less throat hit though...

Q: Which has more throat hit, nic A or nic B?
A: Jup.
They seemed the same to me.
First was a 15 ml bottle of DR nic from Amazon.
Then I got some MFS nic which I am still using.
I do taste the nic a bit though. When making up a new juice I wait till I get it right then add my nic.

What? Your Tractor Supply doesn't carry VG? Mine does. Of course, you can get VG even in the grocery store.

But, the Essential Depot price is better anyway.

Thanks for the Halloween Sales link. Just what I need, temptation to spend more money!
I didn't ask if they had the VG but it wasn't back with the PG. For this area, it doesn't surprise me.
@FlamingoTutu, thanks for posting the sales thread link. Dunno how I missed that sub forum, but I did! In my "Watched" list, now :)

Have any of y'all who DIY used Nude Nic? Thoughts? TIA!
You didn't really miss it, they just opened it up. You can also access it via the stickies. I've always seen good things about Nude Nic. They also have the Nude Armor, the stuff shipped in glass bottles with, um, hmmm... a new sealing technique. They used to use argon gas for long term storage. Now they use--"the self-sealing luer-lock adapter affixed under the hermetically-sealed cap." I think it's MFS that sells those caps. I'll find it later. Downside, you need a pointy needle. :w00t: I hate pointy needles.
Q: Which has more throat hit, nic A or nic B?
A: Jup.
Hold your horses, I don't think Deb's voiced an opinion on that yet.

Found them. https://www.myfreedomsmokes.com/nicotine-mixing-supplies/bottles-caps/pierceable-screw-caps.html Can't copy their pic but they look like this.

309525-8mm-pre-assembled-black-screw-cap-with-ptfe-silicone-seal.jpg

Now all you have to do is figure out which size...

BOTTLE NOT INCLUDED.

Colors of caps may vary depending on size chosen.

These caps are fitted with a pierceable seal that will allow you to puncture them with the needle of a syringe, but remain water-tight to prevent leaks. This is perfect for avoiding spills and keeping oxygen from getting to your E-Liquids. This is the perfect cap for DIY E-Liquid mixers. With these caps you can use a syringe to remove the desired amount of liquid without ever having to remove the cap.

Bottle fit chart:

8mm caps will fit -

13mm caps will fit - 6ml Dropper Bottles, 10ml Dropper Bottles, 15ml Dropper Bottles, 30ml Dropper Bottles, 60ml Dropper Bottles

20mm caps will fit - 30ml Glass Bottles, 60ml Glass Bottles

24mm caps will fit - 125ml Glass Bottles

Thanks, Tutu! I've been hearing good things about it, too - such as, it doesn't have a peppery taste or much TH. That's especially appealing to me; there are a few "gourmet" vendors whose juice I can't vape because of TH. No likey :). And that cap is pretty cool ... Kinda used to pointy needles  !

When making up a new juice I wait till I get it right then add my nic.

IMO, nic does have a subtle taste. I've purchased nic from 'bout five diff vendors with no notable diff to da t-buds.

I mix my flav test recipes with my base, nic/PG/VG. Why develop a great flav and then introduce a 'new' component (nic)? For a 10ml test sample, my nic (1.5ml) cost less than 7.5 cents.

Just goes to show, soooo many diff procedures!

I should be used to needles but I've actually had nightmares before going in for a flu shot. Nurses think it's hysterical.

Looks like you pay a lot more for the cap, like $5.00. 120ml bottles of 100mg/ml is $19.00 for regular, $24.00 for the Amour which just has the special cap now. A while back they were having a sale for something like 40% off. I guess they do it from time to time and I'm waiting for that to come around again. With a shaky memory sometimes, don't hold me to it. :(

I would only use .5 ml for 10 ml of juice.

I have a liter of 100mg/ml & a liter of the 200 both from MFS. Their nic has a caramel or brownish tint to it. Their bottles are frosted so I can see it. I got both at 40% off sales. I also have a liter from ECX but it's in a little beige jug so I have no idea what color it is. I'm curious.

I just as well wait on the Nic and see if I can catch a sale at ecigexpress, but will definitely order up that PG and VG first thing in the morning. Thank you Debadoo!
Yur welcome hun! Be sure to sign up for their newsletter. I wanted so bad to get at least 4 liters last time they had it and I couldn't. But maybe next time, I think it came to 31.79 per liter. I'd feel nic safe if I had about 8 liters in the freezer. At 24 mg I just want one that doesn't taste peppery. Can't stand black pepper. First 24 mg juice I bought was vape dudes, and it was so peppery I couldn't vape it. Went to 17 from another vendor, but had bad cravings for 8 months. Finally tried their 24 just to see, and it was fine, I could vape it.

newp, too spensive for me! And I need a lot of TH and have also heard theirs is light on that.

I feel so inadequate in the vapeocalypse department. I really need to count how many bottles I have stashed. Probably about 1.5 liters. Really hoping there are good sales this year. Black Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Cyber Whatever.

Yep. I used to pass out when I had to have blood work, or donate blood. I had to donate for myself once, whenever I was having surgery & passed out. Now I'm fine as long as they don't start digging & poking around. My last surgery they had to do the iv in my neck. So glad I was already out when they did that. When I started waking up,which takes about a week, I felt something touching my neck & put my hand up there & started to freak out. My sister was there & was watching for my reaction, & hit the pain button & knocked me out again!

wow, so glad I'm not squeamish when it comes to needles. I am afraid to donate though, cuz when they take blood, they always have to do it on the back of my hand, they can never find a vein in the front of the elbow (antecubital area). I'd really like to donate blood, but I know they can't do that from the back of my hand. I should go in sometime though, and see if they can get it from somewherz else without diggin for gold!
Poor Tutu.....sorry ya deal with that too hun

I just got called in to volunteer for the vampires. They turn away anyone who can't provide a good vein in the usual place. They don't want liability issues if they ruin the only good vein a person has left.

:w00t: omgomgomg :firefox: Your neck?! :w00t: They have to get creative with me but never the neck. Terribly sorry you have to go through all that.

On me, they have a lot of trouble getting it from the "antecubital area" (love it when you talk dirty). One "nurse" tried to ream it into the tendon there. Hurt/burned for months. IVs often go into the back of my hand. The last nurse that drew blood was so good I didn't know she'd done it. But my only valid excuse for being terrified of needles is that I'm a wuss.

A lot of it seems to come down to how competent the individual is in dealing with someone that doesn't have steady (non-wiggly) big veins.

Makes sense. They told us for years we couldn't give blood because we'd had to have Hep B (I think) shots because of an accident victim we'd helped. Worked for me.
