So we may be our own enemy if there's a run on nic right now.
excellent point! And wow that's crazy bout the ammo. Reckin it's the law of demand and extortion!

Oh, and beautiful mod Janet!!! Congrats!!

Kewl Cathy, it's so great that she has you to help her! that's priceless! And I agree, irritates me that the vape shops start everyone on sub ohming. I know it's the person's decision, and some offer other things.....but many seem to push it.

I have 2+ liters of 100 ml nic in the freezer. I don't have room for much more, but depending on how things look in tje coming weeks I may get more and just take up more freezer space. Or my friend's (Geordi's breeder) freezer. I may be mixing for both of us.

She got a 30 watt Segelei mini and an Aspire Atlantis tank. They advised 6 mg nic in the Atlantis, and she is running .4 obm coils. Why these places insist on starting beginners with sub-ohming is beyond me, but it seems to be working. I bought her some juice I had given her that she liked in 18 mg. Advised to put it into one of the H2 clearos I gave her and keep it handy for those "it just ain't scratching the itch" moments to use on one of the VV3s or VV egos I gave her. Also gave her an extra 18650 battery and a nice drip tip for the Atlantis that matches her red Segelei mini. Much better than that metal drip tip!
Tell her to be careful of the threading on the Segelei. I have a 30w & the threads stripped. And I'm careful!

Thats why I buy the 125ml 100mg 50/50 from MFS. Cost a little more but they come bubble wrapped in glass bottles just throw them in the freezer. I think I said MVS earlier but it is MFS

Thanks to Dancing Heretik's help finding a place that would package a liter in smaller bottles so I don't have to try handling/re-bottling 100 mg nic with my bad hands I got my first (so far only) liter from MFS in 125 g bottles - I bought the bottles when I bought the nic. MFS not only bottled it in the smaller bottles, they also completely labeled each bottle and shipped them with the caps taped shut and each bottle wrapped in bubble wrap and then put in a zip-lock bag. So I just put them in the freezer that way. Since that's my long term freezer I don't think they're getting too much light exposure.

I'm not quite sure about figuring out how much I need, though, since I just opened my third 125 mg bottle in almost exactly a year that would mean I only used 1/4 liter during the year. Now I did have 3 months of not vaping thanks to my incarceration in the nursing home after breaking my ankle, so that would still only come out to actually using 3/8 of a liter per year. Since I mix my base at 25 mg/ml and end up at 20-24 mg/ml. By my figures then I would only be vaping 1-3 ml/day, and I know that I use more than that. I go through one full sized Nautilus, one Davide and one mini protank every day so that should be more like 9-10 ml/day.

I'm confused, and too tired for more arithmetic tonight, especially involving fractions.

I don't think anyone discounts the provari except provari. Every once in a while they send out a 10% sale thing. Register with them for email and eventually you'll get a notice.

And nope. Not a provari fan.

You still got it, Old Dog. ;)
Yep - Janet and I easily use a liter of 100 mg nic per year. Our financial lady plans our money 'till we reach 99 years old ... don't think I'll last that long. But having 10 liters of nic in the freezer sounds nice.

My fear is that what happened in the gun world will happen in the vaping world. Everyone will start buying and hoarding nic (like what happened w/ bullets) and the price will soar due to shortages. The ammo market at it's craziest had a market price of $100 for a box of ammo I was paying $20 for. It took years for it to settle down, but still the prices are up. So we may be our own enemy if there's a run on nic right now.
That's depressing. I'd hope that the more reputable places would hold the prices down but if the suppliers jack them up...

can someone give me a link as to where the best place is to get the new provari ?
ProVape.com is probably best. If you want black or blue (maybe even the dark red), the wait is around a week. They say 3 weeks, but mods are shipping much faster. They are also available from some vape shops. FWIW, ProVape has both P3's and P2.5's on sale. I have both; they are well made and very safe. The one ding on them is power. The P3 maxes out at 20 watts, and can take down to .7ohm coils. The P2.5 goes to 6.5 volts ... The Radius goes to 40 watts. ProVape most always has a Black Friday sale ...

I sat down today and figured out how much 100 mg nic I will need for the rest of my life. I need to review my calculations. Anyone? 20 years at 15 ml of three mg juice daily.

3.25 liters?
How much 100 mg/ml nic to last 20 years at 15 ml of 3mg each day?
15 ml * 3 mg/ml = 45 mg/day
1 liter of 100 mg/ml = 100,000 mg
100,000/45 = 2,222 days per liter
2,222/365 = 6 years per liter
20 years/6 = 3 1/2 (3.333333) liters of 100 mg/ml nic
Remember that doomsday is most likely at least two years away. Just keep your ears open.
Yes and no. State and local governments are passing laws willy nilly. So, bad stuff could happen a lot faster. Or, not at all. Who knows?

In the meantime, I've had enough to probably last the rest of my life for a while now. I may pick up a little more even. But, I've decided not to stress about it any more than I can help. I realized that stressing about it may just make me not need to stock up at all (not living long enough for it to matter).

Wow, they really went above and beyond. I think I may just drop them a Thank You note to let them know how much it's appreciated. Very kind and considerate. And pretty good PR too.

You've used 250 ml in 9 months of actual vaping.
250 ml / 9 * 12 = 333.33333 ml/yr of 100 mg/ml nic

Since you use a little under 25 mg/ml strength, you vape about 4 ml/day and need about 1/3 liter of 100 mg/ml nic per year.
And, for 20 years would need almost 7 liters.

Did I do that right? That seems like so much! Maybe I'm just too tired right now.

I didnt think nicotine would freeze in a normal home freezer. No way I can keep up with ya all, take care.
It won't freeze, just get thick. But, in the freezer and away from light and air should allow it to last a good 10 years of more (maybe much more).

Nude Nicotine, I screwed up

They do put on those pierceable caps, they don't use argon but they DO vacuum seal the bottle. They also send you a 1ml and 10ml luer-slip syringe with your order. My bad, off to give myself 40 lashes without use of any painkillers. :(

Nice, Wolf! Of course everybody is going to want to know what it is.

How's it going there? Is spring starting to show? We're kind of twitting our thumbs waiting for the "real" fall to begin with rain.

I wish I could like box mods but most of them are just too big for my hand. The one I did buy isn't conducive to Tootle Puffing. Like what I have so shouldn't complain.

It doesn't freeze, or really even expand, just a tad thicker. You mean you can't keep up with the thread? No worries about that really.....hope you pop in and read and post when you can!

Just make sure it's only with a licorice stick! ( a wet noodle is just icky) Thanks for the update.

Totally agree that MFS needs mega kudos for helping Amoret! Great customer service!
