AA? Alkaline? Aren't they only about 1.5 volts?I Just tried using an AA in a nemmy, just for kicks. Didn't work.
1.2 V. Sorta wimpy. NiMH 2100mAH rechargeable.AA? Alkaline? Aren't they only about 1.5 volts?
No, when the chip in a mod dies there is no way to use it. Don't ask me how I know.Anyone? Pretty please?
That's why I'm only buying US made that are repairable by the maker. It's funny. We insist on mods that take replaceable batteries in order to be vapocalypse-proof. Then, we complain about the trouble and expense of buying those batteries.
Interesting. Now that is real DIY doomsday stuff! But nowadays there are very few Radio Shacks left.I believe the Puck Mods take alkaline batteries. I think.
There are a few things I've been watching, but I grabbed flavors earlier this month and totally blew the vape budget there. It's ok, because the place I get them at is only doing a discount on imported flavors. I'm trying to decide on another mod, but it's going to have to wait until maybe January. What do you think about this one? Made in TX with a lifetime transferrable warrenty. They have regulated & unregulated. HexOhm V2.1 - Craving Vapor
All of mine, 6 different models of PV, take 18650 or have built in. The VAMO can use 18350 but, I never did. Only thing I need concern myself with is max amp draw so I just buy high amp batteries and I have all my devices covered. Works out well.Batteries ordered. Page with all the Black Friday specials closed down.
It's really fast to do all your Black Friday shopping when you don't have much money! But, I finally won't have to scrounge so much to find batteries. Kind of. I really needed more.
Maybe it's time to start looking at my collection of mods based on the batteries they take. That way I wouldn't be ordering 2 of this, 2 of that, 2 of another, . . . . . Just order one (at most, 3) different kinds of batteries and be done with it.
I use 7 different kinds of batteries. Four different sizes, several button-top, several flat-top. That's ridiculous!
Me neither and now all the BF sales are overI haven't bought anything.![]()
Don't forget to "marry" pairs of new batteries for them. It's good practice for safety reasons. I label mine "set #, battery 1", "set #, bat 2" etc. and charge them together as well.I can tell when mine starts to go down. But i think with it being duel batt they'll last longer, & I can check & chan ge daily.
When the board dies that's it unless you could have it replaced which is rare. With new boards coming out almost daily, where would you even find a replacement?Anyone? Pretty please?
Bravo, nice try Matt!Me neither and now all the BF sales are over
A Reo is a mech. Just a different layout.Ok, thanks everyone. I guess I'll watch for used Reo's and learn about mechs.
More studying, sheesh.![]()

I didn't know the answer, I'm really a vaping dunce.Anyone? Pretty please?
I do, then I remember where we're headed and shut my trap. I'm so glad I don't smoke, bring on the sales. It's funny. We insist on mods that take replaceable batteries in order to be vapocalypse-proof. Then, we complain about the trouble and expense of buying those batteries.
I know, huh? If I remembered a tenth of the stuff I read I'd be happy. The advances are fast and furious right now, looks like that is going to come to a screeching halt. I wonder what advice we'll be giving out a year from now. Wonder if we'll (ECF) will be here a year from now.Ok, thanks everyone. I guess I'll watch for used Reo's and learn about mechs.

The thing is if the company that made it goes out of business because of being regulated out that won't do you any good. That's why I'm only buying US made that are repairable by the maker.
