I use 30 ga at 1.6-1.8 ohms in my T3S's and recoil almost never. They last real well at 8 watts.
Dat's a nice minimal 'step down'. Just keep some 18mg available fer dire straits.
I failed to mention dat I dropped my nic level from 15 (after 3 years) to 12mg at da same time as trying da UF. I still use 15 with a couple of my daily rotation recipes. Will reduce them on my next batches.
Please keep us posted as to your reduction venture!

Good idea, thank you! I'd meant to do that years ago and just kinda forgot about the whole thing. I also don't think all hunters or target shooters are bad, we just get an inordinate amount of city folks coming up and thinking they can do whatever they want.

This vanished from the post above. When I was dropping down I might vape a bit more for a max of three days and then all returned to normal. You shouldn't have a problem, may not even really notice.

OMG you have my respect. My orchid V4 clones arrived. So I spent over an hour trying to take one apart. Finally got it. Cleaned it up. Spent another hour trying to put coils on it (dual coils 28 gauge 9 wraps on a 2.5 mm). THAT was PAINFUL. Came out at .8 ohms. Wicked it, primed it, put it together. Then spent the next hour trying to get the fill screw out. Never did. so I top filled it and dealt with the mess coming out the airflow.
After all that? Its a nice vape. But DANG girl that thing is work. /salute 3Mg
We will see if it leaks I am a little nervous about that bottom fill screw LMAO.
And it is leaking bad out an airflow hole we will see if it stops
Edit: Looks like it stopped leaking so it might have been left over from the top fill. Still nervous about that fill hole. I so am not going to leave it on a mod overnight until I know for sure.

I hope not. I tried dropping from 18 to 12, but it was too much. I went back to 18 when I caught myself constantly chain vaping. The drop from 24 to 18 was easy, tho, & that was just about 3-4 months after I started vaping. That second drop to 12 didn't go as well. I was still buying juice tho, so there wasn't a big choice in levels. It was 18 or 12. I can do it on my own now, tho. There.s only one juice I buy now, & I can get it in 0mg & add my own nic. Whoop!

I think we had an extended conversation about this when the delinquent Sloth was around. Tiny tear, nail polish or tape but better solution is to re-wrap. FT has options like this $0.87 30mm Heat Shrink Wrap (1-Meter) - perfect for wrapping 18650 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping I have two batteries with minuscule holes in the wrapping that don't contact the metal in my regulated mods from removing them from the charger the wrong way/backwards. The spring-loaded arm shot back and nicked them. I've covered them with nail polish until I track down the wrapping and the hairdryer (think I have one). Sloth, I think, posted a great video at the time on how to re-wrap but this is the only one I can find at the moment that doesn't have so much cursing in it that I'll get banned for posting it.
Thanks for posting the video. I have an assortment of shrink wrap that I use for my racing drones so when I need to rewrap I am set. I also have a heat gun that works wonderfully for the shrink wrap. I'll just be careful not to overheat the batteries.
When I was young living in San Diego, I had some ammo that I didn't need and also didn't know any other shooters. I called the PD and an officer came by my house and picked up the ammo. I was going through a divorce and also moving on base and having ammo on base was a very big no no.
I've never used orchids, or whatever you're using this on, don't recall, but it shouldn't going out like that. I use 30g and do dual coils that come out to 1.3 and coils last for months. I've never had one actually go out, sometimes just do new ones for the heck of it, sometimes cuz I knock it outta shape if my hand slips when screwing the atty on.

Good for you. UF at 24mg don't taste so good. That's the only interest I have in dropping nic at all.......my nic would last longer and my juice would taste better, but I couldn't drop to 18. Wanted to kill someone after a few days. I make my base now at 24, and it drops by whatever amt of flavoring I add. Never did the (dirty 4 letter M word) on it.
wow, couldn't do all that. I'm sure 3mg has it down to a science now, but that would drive me nuts!
Depends on what your using it in. A nick in the covering only exposes more of the negative post. No big deal unless the case of you mod is positive then it's a really big deal!

I understand completely.
If you need it to heat up faster just turn up de wattage a little. Of course that will give you a warmer vape. I use around 15 watts at 1.5 ohms.
I'm vaping 12mg regularly. Except right now because I accidentally made a batch of 12mg. Ooops. I know I can cut it down but, don't care. Just don't vape on it as long.
