Well I got my 3 VTC minis and I love the way they work but they have one problem. MY Kanger STM's do not fit flush and wabble. I have read about this before and I'm seeing if I can send them back and get 3 cuboids instead. They look like they have a better 510 connection. First time I have ever had that happen.
Sorry to hear (read) that legs. Hope they can work something out for you and that the cuboids work better.

I wrapped my teeth in electrical tape once, tasted awful

Last stinkie 10/15/2013

As a retired electrician, I always recommend 33+ from 3M.

But for that particular application, perhaps the imported from China stuff would be better - soy sauce adhesive :)

Yep 33+ is good stuff. Used 88T I think it was at the telco.
And it does not taste bad at all.

@2legsshrt I don't understand the following post from Boden but he seems to imply it's best suited for high watt vaping. So FWIW I thought I'd pass it along to you. It is a nice looking mod.

I have done many maths and researches today.

I was this close to buying a Cuboid but my pesky brain stepped in.. "Do the maths"... "You know they are using a Texas Instruments chipset".

I thinks "Dang..." Brain is right.

So I do's the maths...

14W from a 7.4V nom Vin...

:matrix:

I needs a 3.9 ohm coil to keep it at high effiency...

Ummm, No

I thinks " I bet this thing is designed to work best with 0.5-1 ohm coils."

More maths ensue.

Yup.. 50W at 1 ohm and 100W at 0.5 keeps the chipset in its happy place.

No Cuboid for me. :D

I never had scrolled that far down the page, EVER, to even see that 'style chooser' link! I had no idea it existed. Thanks for the tip!
not sure that it did exist before they recently got the dark theme working, but it might have

Did anyone else get their goodies from this big sale? I got tons of goodies.:mail: Everything was well organized and packed so neatly in a USPS priority box. Not one empty space in the box. I thought about the video game Tetris when I opened it up. And they threw in a few vape bands.
I had a horrible time ordering, ended up getting my account locked up, contacted em by email, got no response, but the account did get unlocked. Kept saying the address didn't match the card, but we've used that addy before to order stuff, finally called the bank they had our addy, but somewhere in there they had my son's in laws addy, so I tried that one and the order went through......weird!!

Yep, on my last order of multiple small items - there were three missing. The vendor (not this one) ignored my request for either a refund or my missing items...
that really stinks, and I agree, hope you'll tell us who it was. I know ya don't wanna trash someone, but would be good for us to know who folks have issues with. If more folks have issues with the same, then we'll know not to deal with em.

The reason I mentioned the size of the pliers is that I use, only, a carry-on bag when flying and any pair of pliers over 6" is a no-no.
that's good to know! Been thinkin bout how to pack stuff for checked and carryon for the Florida trip!

Speaking of which........ @Lannie and @Fuzzy Thunderbear we're all having a real life porch get together in Florida if y'all could make it. It's about 185.00 or 200.00 per person for the house rental, we've rented a huge house with great pool, hot tub etc, giant kitchen, lots of bedrooms etc, will post the link to more info if y'all are interested.

The vendor in question is considered a very good vendor - I truly believe that they did to me what they did because I went in with only a few bucks and scored a lot of heavily discounted items (close to 10cents to the $1) and they just took the attitude that I had already scored and they did not have to make it any righter than it already was - the $$ amount in question was absolutely negligible - So I choose not to spoil their name - I really did score big... Just give me this Please... I should never have mentioned it...

Well, I followed the advice of iffi and 3mg and my Blackberry juice is tasting a lot better. I also made a batch of Juicy Peach Mango and it is full of flavor. I may have found another ADV. So far I am happy with the start of 2016 and vaping.

Well if you mix Juicy Peach and Mango - it should be full of flavor... Good job...

I imply Nothing!!! o_O

:p

Just kidding. With a buck boost converter the less work it has to do the more efficient it is. Running a chip set that has a nominal 7.4V input at 3.74V means it will be ~70% efficient. Running it close to 7.4V and it'll run close to 90% efficiency.

In comparison a VTC mini with it's 3.7V nominal input running a 1 ohm coil at 14W (3.74V) will be running at high efficiency.

So at 1 ohm 14W two batteries will last ~20% longer (even though you'll have to take a few seconds to swap) in the VTC mini than the Cuboid.
