Oh Please No Hydrogen Bomb Scares!!! vaping and batteries already are 'worse that WMD's' .
Thanks for the b-day wishes
My first DIY attempt was supposed to be a fool proof single flavor mix of ~50/50 @ 6mg but my 5% flavoring yielded something with a chemical rather than strawberry flavor.
adding a few additional drops of strawberry flavoring didn't seem to help so lets let her steep. after a week tried it again still no strawberry taste. Added 4-5 drops of flavoring have yet to try it again. Was strawberry not a good choice for my rookie attempt?
Actually you might have too much flavor in there. That is usually the problem I run into when it tastes chemically. Id take out a bit and try dilluting it with PG/VG. It will mess up the nic level but then you would at least know that was the issue.

They loosen up but the newest ones the ones that suck are tight. I put my fingernail in the hole and turn it clockwise with the tank on the mod so that you have the back pressure of the mod to push against. They will loosen up though a little VG might help.
WIll give it a shot ty. I tried the freezer method to no avail.

Well it finally happened my vapemail arrived today (happy B-Day to me). Got my new Cloupor Mini TC 50 looks and works great. And it only took 30 days from order to touchdown, so a big thanks to china post and usps for that.
Now if I can get the hang of makin' DIY juice that's tolerable I'll be good to go. Needless to say my first attempt has received less than rave reviews. But we ain't quit yet!
Happy B-Day, I hope all turned out like you liked. The DIY info you have gotten so far is spot on. I had some Blackberry I was trying and it was tasting dry and like perfume. I found out on here that I was using too much of the Blackberry flavor. Used less and it was good to go. I also found out I don't like the Blackberry flavor. Doing my tester batches at 10 ml has kept me from throwing out too much and saves on my base.

I love my new pipe! I always wanted one of these. Now, they're on clearance, and I can finally afford one.
I used to be a pipe smoker so when I saw them as cheap as they were on Vapor Bank I ordered two of them. I am really looking forward to my order. I got an email today that it was processed and I checked tracking and it is on the way.

That's great!!! Can't wait to hear how you like your first DIY juice. Just don't get discouraged if at first it's not what you expect.
Yeah it'll probably be unvapable at first. I've been so busy researching about storage, percentage of flavor, etc. So maybe it won't be too bad.

Start simple, just one flavor. Maybe 3 - 5 %, depending. Odds are it will be at least "ok." Fine tune the percent.

Then do the same with another flavor or six :)

Then start playing with two or more complementary flavors, beginning with the percents that tasted good solo.

And, as mentioned, start with small batches. I find 10 ml easy, less than that it's too hard to be accurate with the mixing.

I was going to try 10% but maybe I'll knock it back a few %'s. I'm looking forward to getting everything in, I won a Segelei 75 last week in a drawing so the vape mail is extra exciting right now.
