Mine are on my side all the time so when I goto bed they lay at the end and wait for me to lay down and make a warming blanket around my legs for the night.
awwwwww love schnauzers. When Frankie sleeps with me, he usually sleeps on my legs too. He used to just jump to the spot he was gonna sleep at, but I'd have to keep movin him so I could get in, and that moving didn't sit right with his terrier tude (part westie), but now he mostly has learned to wait til I get in and get settled. Glad you're liking what you're seeing with REOs so far.

I am another REOnaut. You cannot go wrong with at least one solid dependable mech given the FDA situation. I strongly suspect my REOs will outlast me.
JUP! As you know, this is what made me go to REOs.

for Subway: I really wanted no part of mechs or building coils etc, til I got worried bout the FDA crap. I had known if I ever did a mech, it would be a REO. Many do fine with em, but you couldn't get me to use a tube mech, I just don't trust em, that's me. But I'm so comfy with my REO. I also knew I wouldn't drip, that would drive me even more nutty than I already am, but not in the good way  Now I'm so fortunate to have more than one, and I am so thrilled. Some more nic, and a couple more BF derringer clones, the gov't can kiss my rose red cheeks. (which ones to be decided later) I do feel bad for new folks trying to switch to vaping, if they even do half the stuff they're trying to do

A FYI for subtank Mini lovers. I tried an experiment.
I used one of these $7.89 DIY Replacement Host Body for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer - 4.5ml / stainless steel + glass / w/o coil head / top refill holes at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping which is a topfill full mini minus the coil head or RBA deck and put one of these $20.78 Replacement Rebuildable RBA Plus Coil Head for SUBTANK Mini Clearomizer (10-Pack) 10-pack - 0.5ohm at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping and have a perfectly fine working topfill subtank mini for around $11
Yep still have to do a FT order for STM parts.
Gonna get a few bell caps. the topfil thingy holes are too small in the ones I know about.

yeah these are a pretty small needle fill. THey can be bottom filled though just like any other mini and at $11 for the body + RBA deck I can cope.

I did also get extra authentic glass which fit, extra bases which also fit and the 50 pack of orings all from fasttech.

THink next order I am grabbing another 10 pack of the RBA decks and 5 more of the DIY bodys. But that wont be for a few months most likely

I have searched, gone through the last 20 pages, and I can't find it. Someone posted a coupon code for Fasttech, Feb 5-7 20% off. I wrote down KUNGHEI but it is not working. Am I loosing my mind? {no need to answer that, I already know it's gone...}

OMG, I think I've dunnit! I can't boil water without burning it, but I have created my first 'vapable' DIY juice. The first two attempts (not total failure, but less than WOW) have been married in a quiet ceremony at my home.
The blend of Strawberry and Peach was a trial and error meeting due to neither having a strong stand alone presents. The poor Strawberry required multiple procedures and was near death at one point but finally gained enough strength to allow the marriage to proceed.
And Now For My Next Amazing Feat........

Nice! Good for you.

I think this is what you're looking for, and if it is you wrote it down correctly.

Regarding the Fasttech Subtank clone parts that you can buy and put together a top-filling subtank for about $12:

I love them and they're the only tank setup that I'm using these days, BUT...

After you refill them from the top, they ARE going to leak, and leak quite a bit, for about the first 10 draws before the leaking stops. I don't know the reason but if I had to guess, I'd say it might have something to do with vacuum having to get re-established after filling. You can, if you want, fill them from the bottom just like you would with a Kanger Subtank, but to me the leaking is something I'm willing to deal with in exchange for the convenience of top-filling.

I think I have one of those Subtank Mini clones on my wishlist... I have a Lemo 2 that floods (I think, I'm such a noob) every time I fill it. It's a top-fill through a little slot at the top of the tank. I close the bottom airflow holes before opening the top one to fill it, but it's always all gurgly and full of juice when I finish and try to use it. So what I do now is after it's filled but before I put it back on the mod, I get a tissue or a paper towel, put it around the bottom part of the tank (with the airflow holes open) and blow like hell to get the excess juice out. Then wipe off the tank, stick it back on the mod and it's fine. No problems until the next time I fill it. I've just come to accept that "blowing out the juice" is part of the refilling routine now. It's annoying, but at least it works.

So do you think I'm going to have to do the same thing with a Subtank Mini clone?

Ok the one I listed I have been using for about the last day or so. The first time I top filled it I had about 3 drops come out the airholes on the bottom. The next 2 times I filled it there was nothing. Why one time and not the other 2 I have no idea. It wasn't much of a leak when it did though. Honestly my legit Subtank Minis leak more.

Don't use the Lemo2, but maybe try this.

After filling and with the airflow still shut off, take a few short draws without firing to re-establish the vacuum. Might help. :2c:

I don't use a Lemo 2 either; but if it was new maybe it was a O ring break in type thing and that might be why it only occurred only on the first time.

As stated above I don't use a Lemo 2, but I do know with some tanks like the Kayfun's and Kabuki's you should leave the Tank about 10% from being completely full to prevent the gurgle and or a slight leaking from the the tank. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.:) Hope that helps and let us know how things go. And good vaping to you Lannie.

Also Good Morning Porchers; I hope you all find your Sweet Spots today. Only two more days till Super Sunday:banana:

5 minutes ago, I top-filled my Subtank clone after first turning the airflow ring to the blocked position. This is the first time I've blocked the airflow at the base before filling. Wow, I'm toking away without a drop of leakage, yay!

I don't have a Lemo but I top fill my KF using the following technique and only seldom get a gurgle and nothing from the air hole:
place a finger over the air hole
Open the tank and fill
Reinstall the top just until the O-ring seal is making contact
Flip the tank upside down and allow the juice to migrate down
Tighten the top of the tank fully and release the air hole
Good Luck

That's what I tried first, but it's like sucking up the last of a milkshake through a straw. ;) So that's why I started blowing it out.

I'll try not filling it all the way, although the way this thing is constructed, once the juice level is down just a tad from the top, there's not much left. The middle "chimney" (?) part is almost as big around as the glass, so it's just a thin film of juice between and most of the juice is at the top. It's why I fill it up. But I'll try putting less in. I'm already losing a ml or so by blowing it out the bottom, so what's the difference, right? LOL!

Ok, I have 3 Lemo 2s and only one leaks. I haven't fixed it because by the time I refill it, I forgot it leaks:yawn:, I have a 2 out of 3 chance righto_O.
So just for you I took 2 of them apart to see why one was leaking and after getting out the flashlight and the super duty glasses all I found was one end of the wick was not covering the juice port it was about 1/64 short:cry:.
So I put in a BB sized piece of cotton, pushed the wick down onto it, put it back together and no leak-none, just like the other 2:thumbs:. Sorry for the book, took much longer to type this than fix it:blush:
