I have a theory, Deb. Can't prove and have never been told if I'm correct or not. Here goes. In the early part of my vaping career wa-a-a-ay back in 2013 most all the ejuice came in higher PG ratios.
It is my understanding that pg carries flavor much better than vg. So, when all this sub ohming and big clouds got started the juices started to have more vg than pg.
The theory is that a juice heavy with vg has to be highly flavored to have any taste at all, so cutting it down with pg wouldn't cause a whole lot of difference in taste?
In most cases the diluting has worked for me. It could also just be my "buds" are continually improving over almost 3 yrs. from not being able to taste most anything on the ProTank 2 and it's standard drop-in coils. Took 5 mos. to taste something other than a hot cinnamon.
