Hi, my name is Chiwalker, and I just introduced myself on the Oldtimer's thread, and was told this was the place for non tech chat, so here I am! I dropped out of vaping about a year ago, having been a one year vet on ECF last March, and decided after an eventful year and a half to start vaping again, and stumbled across the Oldtimer's tech thread, and now here I am....
I live in Northeastern Ohio, I'll be 64 next month, have 2 kids, five grands, have been married 44 years this month, and have lived in the same house for 44 years...I'm sorta getting back into vaping and life right now, so this looks like my kind of place.

I'm glad to see this senior lounge open. Seems everywhere I go the median age is about 30. May I have a frozen Margarita, please? Let me get out my Volt and we'll talk.
I'd like some advice on Mobility Scooters, if anyone can help.
All my life I loved to take long walks. Now at 66 the walks are shorter and shorter due to arthritis. I've had to sell my car, and I think a scooter would be perfect for shopping and errands.
All I'm certain of is I want 4 wheels and as inexpensive as possible.

Thanks to all for the Birthday wishes. Wife and I are both fighting the flu so it was a rather sedate day. Kid and friends are planning on something next Saturday. I think it's going to involve gifts and snow crab legs. Lots of both I hope.

On the scooter - do not go to cheap even though it may seem necessary - make sure you read reviews before you buy. While I do not use one yet - I do have a few friends with them and the ones that bought the cheapest they could find are not happy with their performance - to much down time...

I am a happy camper today. I FINALLY found a flavor that hubby actually likes. I have been on this search for well over a year so I am tickled pink. 
I got some of his favorite pipe tobacco. Put about 1/3 cup of it in a 1/2 pint jelly jar. Added enough PG to cover it. Zapped in the microwave for 20 seconds with the lid off. Put the lid on and set it in a bowl of hot water. Left it there until the water cooled. Steeped it for 3 days. Each day setting it in a bowl of really hot water. Strained it. Mixed it up at 20% flavor in 60pg/30vg @ 16mg.
He loves it.

Thanks Bunches. I am hoping that he will finally be able to totally give up the smokes but I'm not holding my breath. All I can do is give him the option. The rest is up to him and I just don't think he is ready. Maybe he never will be but I never push. I am thrilled that he has cut his smoking from close to 3 packs a day down to about 10 or 15 a day. For him, that is a giant step.
