Well, shucks! I wish it worked with my wife.![]()
I'm the board pervert I do believe, so I love to give compliments when they are due.

call me crazy? but I don't care what they think.....they are only going by what they see! If anything it gives off a nice oder. I mean no disrespect to the creator of this topic! If vaping can't evolve in this society then it will be pushed out by the fda and all those that are offended by it. It is not smoking.....I don't want to be treated like one. just my two cents, carry on.
OK I posted here earlier.. said I would abstain from vaping in banned areas, well I got to thinking, what would happen if I just vape openly?
So that is what I have been doing, everywhere.
First open vaping violation: Public Library... Good to Go
Second O.V.V: Pumping Gas...Good to go!
3rd O.V.V : Several deparment stores..Wally. Targy, the like.. Nope nothing!
4th O.V.V : Department store, only right in front of the cashiers, heavy vape exhaled... Not a word or even a look of what the hel.
OK so that was my first week, second week:
Went into work after being off for Summer, had a meeting to go over the opening of the kitchen.. Vaped during the whole thing, all around the kitchen, in front of everyone, many were curious.. but none were offended, even the boss.
OK WOW, thought that would backfire, but it did not, so.. decided to try the one place that just can not tolerate analogs, the Hospital.. Went in to the EMC... pretending to be looking for my Wife, VAPING right in front of the nurses station, with the nurse answering me, seeing me do it, and not a word.
That really shocked the heck out of me, and tonight was the clincher.
My wife wanted to go to a comedy show, at a local movie theater, they have had a few comics, like a comedy club, in a theater, so it's crowded in a bit and vaping, should be easily noticed, I know the analog would set off alarms with in this crowded room, my wife was like PLEASE do not viper (IT is what she calls it)
I told her I have to , just what I need to do, she thought we would be booted, well nothing happened, I vaped the 2 hours in the show, rather a dark room, but still visible huge clouds of vapor exhaled, nothing not one person said, or even glared in my general direction..
The show ended, went into the lobby area brightly lit, vaped, everyone around could see it, nothing, but the couple we were with, said they had seen a plume of smoke, wondered where it came from, thought they were imagining it, because it was there then gone.
Well, that just blew my mind, I was going to abstain, but you know what, there is no need to, they appear oblivious to this, oh and I just remembered, at the theater lobby, there was a cop, security guy right there as I vaped.. he did not even bat an eye...
I say vape, vape away, they appear oblivious to it, had I lit up an analog in any of the above situations.. would never happen, so that is all I have to say, vaping.. seems acceptable here in RI.
I disagree, the whole point of vaping is NOT to be able to vape where you cant smoke, the whole point of vaping is to get off of analogs, to help you stop killing yourself with real cigs, to be healthier. If i go to a friends house and he is a non-smoker, i wont vape in his house out of respect. If i am at a resturant and the owner says he doesnt want vaping in his establishment then i wont vape...it might not be illegal but it is still his place of business and he has the final word. Use common sense, if it looks like it might cause a problem then dont do it, if asked to stop then stop. Otherwise you draw attention to it and the powers that be won't side with you, they will use it to make more stupid ridculous laws to stop us from doing it, a waste of tax payers money.
Exactly my point of view, Bob. Thanks for a common sense post. Though I still stealth vape in the bathroom at work![]()

I don't agree with 80% of your post. But I will say, I used to HATE when anti's would do that "fake cough" when I had no choice but to smoke next to them... ...... me off hardcore.+1 if i gotta go outside i might as well light up
i call B.S. that's EXACTLY why i started vaping to vape where i couldn't smoke, it just backfired on me, i'm not looking to quit, i'm actually keeping an eye on the beta carboline thread for a better liquid. which there may just be.
i use nicotine to deal w/ ppl i don't like so i don't wind up in prison. because the fact of the matter is I am the boss of me. not you, not the government, not ANYBODY but me. if i choose that i want to put nicotine or if i wanted to put anything else in my system for that matter NOONE has the right to tell me what i can or cannot do w/ my body. it's MINE, not yours.
granted i'll show respect to you and u'r body (providing u'r showing the same respect to me and mine. ) and not do anything that would affect you that you didn't want to be affected, but that's where i draw the line. i don't owe anybody anything else. and neither do you or anyone else here.
it's time we start standing up for ourselves. someone catches me in a bad mood trying to tell me i can't vape somewhere, i may just light up and tell them that NOW they have call to complain. just like i blew smoke at the anti's that coughed or were similarly rude. now i have the backing as it doesn't affect them.
and u'r free to disagree, from the reasons u vape all the way to what u can or cannot do w/ u'r own body. but let me ask u a question - if i told u that u'r breathing bothered me or the government told u that u could not breathe, would u stop?I don't agree with 80% of your post. But I will say, I used to HATE when anti's would do that "fake cough" when I had no choice but to smoke next to them... ...... me off hardcore.

Well done sir, well done!
Yes, it's NOT burning tobacco and no one here seems to notice or care as long as they don't smell anything burn. It's a win for common sense so far.
I'm still waiting for someone to tell me to stop smoking so I can try the education route to see if they can be won over. That will be interesting.
What if you walked into the lobby of the ritz Carlton and started .........ing in public. Because it was your right. And the man approached you and stated that he would prefer that you do that somewhere else. But you stated that it was yor personal habit and your right to do so and that he should bring you a magazine and a catch rag. After all it is the responsibility of business owners to attends to their customers whims.

None of that makes any sense. .........ing in public IS illegal. Just ask Paul Rubens(AKA Pee Wee Herman). He got busted for choking the chicken in of all places an adult video booth!
Public nudity=illegal
Public indecency=illegal
Comitting a lude act in public=illegal
Exposing yourself to a minor=illegal
Vaping in public=in most states perfectly legal
And absolutely correct on the business owners RIGHTS. The only thing stated that makes any sense. If the business owner asks you to stop, you can always politely explain the PV to him. In all likelyhood, if they have a problem w/ it they probably don't know what it is. If they still want you to stop, you either stop or take your business elsewhere. It is really that simple.
