Sorry, I actually put these dimensions in the Stallion thread.

I put horizontal slots in mine. Got a beautiful narrow diamond dremel cut off wheel just for this. Lower one is 9/16 from the bottom and the top one is 7/8 from the bottom. It's working well but on my next one I'm going to try 1 1/8" from the bottom for the top slot. That may be too high though. We'll see. The coil sits 1 1/2" from the bottom.

I have a small sharpening stone that I use to deburr. Fine emery should work fine as well. I like the stone because there is very little if any dust put in the carto. Probably not an issue, that's just how I do it. In an earlier post in this thread I gave the dimensions I used from the bottom of the cart (from the tube bottom not the bottom of the 510 thread) I cut mine horizontally and used a diamond dremel cutoff wheel. Very little burring with this wheel. The two slots are on opposite sides of the cart. One on one side and one on the other. Working very well. Filled my second Raven tank today. Have left it on it's side overnight and no flooding. The actual opening of the slots I made are around 1/8". That's the opening. The whole groove is about 3/16" long.

Got it Wally. I'll try to pick up a new cut wheel for my old Dremel tomorrow, mines pretty used up. I'll give slotting them another shot, long as flooding doesn't seem to ba an issue. Laying 'em on side all night and no flooding is pretty good seems like.

I noticed today the tank from my larger Raven is cracking around the bottom. I have used FLuX Peach in it since I put it into service with a Stallion Carto. Has anyone else noticed this? Might be something for the folks in China to look at. If they plan to bring the Raven to us as it was originality intended, I would hate to see a sub tank standard around it.

I am in no way complaining about my free Raven Tanks. I just want to see the final product as bullet proof as they can make it.

News?! I love the pheonixs but the pressure drops off as they empty out and I'm assuming the Raven tanks will alleviate this problem.

The new raven cartos last pretty dang long, but of course ymmv according to what kind of juice you're using, etc. I haven't had to trash one yet, but I rotate my devices. You will be more likely to find info regarding any questions on the new ones in this thread.

Anyone know how long they will last?

I got one when they were in alpha almost 2 months ago and it still going strong. I did get 2 at that time and about a week ago I pulled this one and went to the 2nd. Its a fussy one and wouldn't stop gurgling and leaking here and there so I just did a rinse and dry burn on the first and went back to it - still cranking out clouds! 2.4 ohm @ ~4v with a diy 70/30 orange cream @ 18mg. Prolly had over 60ml through it already and its pretty much been my goto rig for the last several weeks.
I need to get some more
