I nominate skin_e1,

The first to have it in hand,
must lay out their build plan (that's the best I could do with a rhyme)

The Calix, By Leo

1. Dual AFC (at base as well as the top)
2. Threaded Glass tank
3. Liquid Control
4. Suitable for single, duals and tri-coils
5. Deck removable while the tank is full

You copy and pasted, don't think that counts.

Just got a call from DHL. Calix is in Sacramento and is out for delivery now...but...

....my address on the package had my name, city, state, and zip. NO STREET ADDRESS

Thank goodness my phone number was on it, and happy it made it all the way here without a street address, crisis narrowly averted!!!

Remember, I chose the free shipping on the Calix. I'm sure it will be awhile yet so I can't help anyway, sorry.

And someone is loaning me two attys to try. Obviously I don't want to hold them hostage so I'll be building them immediately.

And I need to change the 510s on the Pyra and my Sig 100W. The Sig is getting worn with those copper threads and the warranty is about up. Then I need to test the Pyra and see if it will be ok with just a functioning 510 or if it needs a complete rebuild. I have another mod I'm changing the chip in. And I need to build my new mods from scratch.

And its time for someone else to do some build tutorials :)

Pump the brakes Roxy. I don't see any mention or expectation that you do a write up on the Calix

I've got a bunch of high watt boxes that are just sitting... 2x raptor 120w, double 18650's... unopened T8, and of course a ton of idle mech tubes.I only use my dna40 mods at home which is 90% of the time. ( 2 prometey3's and a couple Marquis drippers.)2 dna30's in the truck... (Aqua2, Prom2.)But..... gonna go back to FT and order a couple more Aqua2's.I can't believe how i like that atomizer! (they say its the original; or it was).I have my Tilemahos on my Ranger 50w, and I have just had enough of it (the Tillie). (If anyone is interested in a trade or a great deal)You know I just stick with whats easy and what works for me. The Aqua2 is just so smooth... I'll have to get couple more syringes.

sx350J/M is coming soon.

The info was already there. I thought you may have missed the instructional video and Qorax's build which I'm sure are both better than what I can do. It provides all the necessities of a writeup and much more :) I don't find a need to write up what has already been written up. What possibly can I add to it? I'm going to build it the exact way as the instructional video and run with it. I wish some of the other manufacturers did the same thing and we wouldnt' even need write ups at all except possibly a non-partial review on how it vapes. So, to conclude I think it does count. It's a more advanced video of all the ins and outs, It's in english and I think he shows possibly more with dual and tri-coils on his forum page which, I will never do a write up on that because I only use single coil atomizers and drippers as I explained before :) That's why I bought it. If you possibly have something to add, that's up to you. Personally I have all the information I need to build and I'm not that advanced at all. Any further questions about more advanced builds and such, I suggest you visit billies site he seems very eager to help people with his product. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...6015-leo-attys-mods-drip-tips-tanks-1218.html

Good thing you called the people up about your package. It would have been a nightmare if you had of only shipped it first class mail

Well, guys, I hold one of you responsible for the Calix build as mine is probably not even close to being on this continenet ;)

I asked you how to you got the coils to the post, because from what I read in your previous post, I assumed you had already gotten yours. I then remembered qorax and the manufacturer had wrote something about it and proceeded to get some information from them. No need for you to review it or anybody else since the information is already there. The only question I have that remains is " How does it Vape" by a non-partial buyer:D Later you posted you haven't received it yet cause you went first class. Good thing that instructional video and the post from quorax was there. Now I think I can handle that problem with those two pieces of information :) Thanks for the response and clarification.

Unless you order from Mini E-CIgs...........Fast Tech is lightening fast compared to Israeli shipping......

That's really bad :(

I checked my Calix tracking a little while ago and all that shows is it was dropped off.

I forgot Qorax did the Calix as well until you reposted it, Mtek. I used to have an amazing memory and now its terrible. Its a hard change for me to accept. I want to know why I'm like this, but my doctors blow it off and blame menopause. So, if I was a man maybe they would take me seriously :(

Just assume I won't remember anything :D. If you assume that, we will have less misunderstandings.

As for that FT OTM Aqua v2, I agree, that's an amazing atty whatever its story may be. I don't know how to classify that one. I try not to  Since I'll never sell it, I guess I don't have to, but its hard to know what threads I'm allowed to talk about it in. This is probably not one of them.

The doctors would just tell you it's a mid life crisis if you had frank'n'beans

Anyways, Calix has been delivered to my box, just gotta pick it up on the way home

First rewick (after approx 10 mil of 40/60'vg heavy) and final thoughts on Phenom light from a noob perspective. Build is still 25 gauge at approx .7 ohms with rayon.

This is not a regimented rba, like my fav SM K4, I don't have twist on-off steps with it. A top fill ring, and the bottom collar are press-fit on with two orings, perhaps someone with less hand strength or dexterity would struggle with it. Very tight tolerances, and precise fit required effort and different ways to get leverage. I don't find it hard, but focused fiddling required. Building takes more time, smaller area to work with. Easy to wick, unbeleivably so. Not one dry hit, gurgle, etc...and beleive me, Im not skilled in this area. The wicking does take more time than the SM, no clipping and stuffing, but I will diff be wetting and placing, although you more experienced could do it more efficiently.

Flavor is indeed Phenom. and I'm right now in one of those zones where I am enjoying my vape with it, not doing it for nic reasons. Aesthetics are subjective, but I love it, the clear top, dt adapter etc, are nice details.

Ok, here is a rewick. Old, then new after dry fire cleaning. Any questions feel free to ask.

Ukemam, I sold my "Oem" Aqua 2 to someone in need but never used it personally. It was as nice as anything and I have, construction wise.

What's up with the Tille? Is it version 1 or 2?

Version 1 afaik... what is the difference on the 2?

I just can't get it mellow enough for me...

I finally got the Calix wicked right...I think. Before I was kinda like meh, it tasted kinda like the Eviva-T with dry hits. I re-rolled my coil and cut it about a millimeter longer than the Phenomenon. when I puffed on it I had my juice control wide open and it flooded. I was so so happy. I closed down my juice control and the wakonda's flavor is coming through. I will post a pic of the wick when I empty the tank. Also it is kinda a bear to coil up. Initially I took the steel cup piece out and tried to wick it on my rose stand. No go. When I wicked it the second time I took the cup out and wicked it one side at a time running the coil out and the juice channel around to the post. Then I flipped it and did the same thing to the other side. Then I had to take a flat head and push the coil all the way over to the air hole on the far side. Then I pushed it down and lit it up a few times to make sure my coil was heating right. I also upped the coil size from 2.4 to 3mm. I didn't want to take any chances :D Before I got to about a 3rd of a tank on a 2.4 mm coil and it started dry hitting with the juice control wide open. This time it's a warm and flavorful vape. For now. I will take a pic or two to show my setup after I have it perfected. :D
